What are you saying? When has NDDC scholarship become platform for a graduate to forcefully become a cleaner? Was the reason of going to study abroad to make money from cleaner job? It is this unnecessary mentality that makes our leaders get away with their corrupt act. How would what you just type benefit Niger Delta?

I know NDDC will come up with a press statement soonest to cover for their negligence and ineptitude. I can only hope this thread will spur them to action to effect payment.

They don't have any excuse to give, I blame this whole thing on media that won't report this news. Imagine some 2015 scholars not paid as at today but the useless Nigeria media were busy reporting 2017 applications is out.

I weep for Niger Delta. Funny enough PTDF scholars are studying like kings but the people from the region suffering

Nigeria Media the most corrupt for not reporting this news that NDDC won't pay 2015 and 2016 scholars, but will get envelopes from NDDC and report thrash. Thisday, Punch, Vanguard, etc. We're quick to report early March that NDDC has ordered payment of scholars. Till date none of them even care to report that NDDC has not paid any scholar till date

Amaechi is using his people to steal from NDDC. First it was Semanitari, now Nsima Ekere

NDDC have not Paid 2015 scholars yet. And that MD wants to contest as Akwa Ibom Governor with this rubbish?

Big thanks to all who have been so helpful here. Please I'm interested in PhD studies IT Security, but I'm open to Telecommunications Engineering, Software engineering or Intelligent computing. Through this platform, I now know full funding is necessary. I have search several Canadian institutions but your input is needed. I will like to know what institutions are happy to fund research in these fields although UBC and Toronto remains a priority.

For UK universities, you need letter from your University in Nigeria on letter-headed paper, clearly stating English was language of instruction. However, I learned others had to show minimum of credit score in WAEC.

Please ask whatever questions you may have here, others may benefit from answers provided. If you go back on this thread you will see where I made mistake and got corrected immediately, it would have been a different case if it was seen by me and recipient only. I advise you to put up your concern here.

PDP was not good either ? Or you just feel like expressing yourself? Go and check the records NDDC has never owed scholars more than 8 months, the first time it has ever happened was 2015 scholars and now its getting worse. Quit trying to make it look as if its a political party issue, because to the best of my knowledge there's no political party in Nigeria, same faces move around deceiving those who cares.

Delta State have not been that lucky with Governor After Ibori, who really tried. The Government of Uduaghan received more money than any other government yet nothing to show. I hope Deltans demand more from their leaders

With high rate of 'Man-know-Man' in recruitment process across Nigeria. I think cyber attacks will help most organizations understand why this should never be extended to anything IT. Nigerian Companies be warned.

This isn't true. I've taken a taxi where the driver was trying to browbeat me into paying him more than the agreed amount. He threatened to stop on the way. A lot of taxi drivers try to get more from one Some in a nice way, others in a harsh way. Even after spelling everything out. Like who is responsible for the toll fees...

If I understand you very well, we're saying something similar. I have had taxi drivers very close and nice to me in different cities across Nigeria. I noticed they all have female passengers as VVIP and would only give me priority because of how I relates with them not because of money, since they have repeatedly confirmed these ladies gives more money to them. I'm not saying there's no exception and would not support hitting a woman no matter what, but the law of cause and effect indicates what we see from here is at best effects and asking for the cause is a good way to reason
