There is no excuse anymore, Buhari & APC is the worst thing to happen to this country, PDP was not good either, but things were not this bad. Why appoint politician into this role. Two names were before Buhari to choose as MD of NDDC, both from same section of Akwa Ibom, the other man was seasoned technocrats in the mold of Ibe Kachikwu, but Amaechi spent money to frustrate the technocrats appointment, just to get his politician associate in as MD, this is one of the outcomes & this Government still wonder why they can't get anything right.

It was never a good move to appoint former Governors as ministers. This news seems to have an iota of truth, since Sahara Reporters are like mouthpiece of most names mentioned

The moment the NDDC MD position was given to a career politician with governorship ambition of desperate proportions, I knew that was the end of the scholarship, knowing how anti-intellectual the average Nigerian politician is. If it was bad under the PDP, now it's simply hell. Guys, open your eyes and go sort yourselves out, your monies are systematically been set aside for 2019 primaries and polls.

The MD position was never held by politician until Buhari change sets in, this single act of the MD alone will spell doom for him in his plans to become Akwa Ibom governor.

Thank you for the info. This has been the worst outing for NDDC till date. No one can lay the blame on dollar access anymore.

It has never been forex issue, here's why:
1. NDDC paid some 2015 scholars last year immediately after protest.
2. NDDC claimed in report of early 2016 that all 2015 scholars tuition and upkeep paid.
3. Despite epileptic FOREX policies, PTDF scholars gets paid on time.

Bottom line: There's more corruption in Buhari's Government and Niger Delta politicians are the real enemies of the region

NDDC has not paid any scholar yet, I saw a tweet from one of Mr. President SA indicating she will have a word with management this week, that's why I personally paused for a while. 2016 scholars the weakest link in the struggle

Budget for MSc(1yr)= $30K/Per Scholar (Even if yours is 2yrs!)
Budget for PhD= $90K/Per Scholar.....covers the 3yrs the program is supposed to run( ie, $30K/year)

I think, the scholarship is between 30,000 dollars or so per year. I stand to be corrected, though.

MSC is $30k, PhD is double the figure, which is why fewer PhD scholarships awarded each year. Since PhD = 2-MSc in value

NDDC SCHOLARSHIP... What a horrible experience! This is simply a summation of what a scholarship should not be. Yet, you have scholars on PTDF scholarship.... from same Nigeria,....with similar source of funding (crude oil receipts) studying and living like kings overseas to the extent that some of them have purchased mortgages in the UK, properties in Nigeria and go on expensive holidays regularly . The gross dishonesty and selfish attitude of politicians of Niger Delta extraction will forever keep the region in darkness and to continue to serve as willing tools and slaves to the North.

Our politicians our very greedy, and we can't move forward with them, sadly PTDF pays even more in cash for scholars

Middlesex, Coventry, Sunderland, Straffordshire (not sure if I got the spelling right), Salford, Lancaster, etc. Within that range. If you get the scholarship, come back and ask how to go about payment issue. Take it one step at a time.

You just have to be worried and hope NDDC don't owe you. Again the most important thing is to get the scholarship. What is the range of tuition fee in £, you think will be suitable?

Wow tnx.. Didn't know a school can send transcript to an office, thought they only send to fellow educational institutions

Tell the school the company needs your transcript, they'll ask for a contact person to address the transcript to, which you'll then supply your person's name and office address. 2.2 will get admitted into most universities in UK, read admissions requirements on the university website

It would take my Alma mater like 2weeks to send my transcript abroad. Should I wait until then or do I apply for the masters now

Get Nigeria office address of a close friend or relative for your school to forward transcript to, which will be a faster way to get your transcript, scan and forward it to UK university. That will make things faster

I've not processed any Medical related admissions before, but I'll advice you to send mail to any UK university of choice, ask if you can get offer letter within a week or two.

Its always at Rivers State University of technology the past years. I will advise you to wait till you get an SMS from NDDC days before test, as the venue may change

This generation has a lot of confused people. All the same men should resist hitting any woman. The best dosage for any woman is avoiding and ignoring them, that act alone can really get to any woman cause women feeds off a man's attention.

It's easy to refer to men as wife beaters. Although I'm opposed to domestic violence, Objective reasoning combined with the law of cause and effect indicates 'something' must have pushed a man to beat his wife. Until anyone can disclose what the 'something' is or are, we can't conclude who's wrong or right.

Please go and search properly there are more than 10 universities in UK offering same course. All you need for most UK schools is two reference letters, Letter from University you graduated stating English was language of instruction, transcript, Degree certificate, statement of purpose and maybe your CV
