Dear OP, You don't have to bring God and deliverance into this, low self esteem is neither a sin nor demonic. I want to believe getting involved in church activities helped you acquired more skills that may have augmented your previous self esteem. Within this context, the church was nothing more than a platform to boost your confidence. Any standard working environment can equally do same. God is not into delivering people from low self esteem, because God has place in everyone all he/she needs. Low self esteem is at best self inflicted either from inability to discover ourselves or similar reasons. |
Olisa4all:It pays to be funny, at least I want to believe ![]() This is a faceless forum, saying Yes or No will do nothing to any (myself included) |
Review is a combination of two words (re & view), meaning you view again. In the case of published paper or article, this implies critical assessment of it. On the other hand, Summary is about highlighting the key points of the paper without necessarily being critical. However, summary can also be critical |

For me, there's neither easy nor tough field, there's neither average nor dull students but exceptional students exist. I am 100% convinced everyone has set of suitable courses. However, students seems dull or average when choice of course was not inwardly influenced. If M&S as your choice is what you really want, go for it please. Most people complaining about how its difficult should be the least of worries if it's really what you want (be honest to yourself). |
Back then in school 11th of November was dreaded, particularly by junior students as their senior counterparts sees this date to be "flocking spree day", hence dishing out beatings of unique formats to junior students. If you experienced this as student, share your thoughts |
LOSKYXANDER:Apologies Sir, It is difficult to say if I'm a pilot ![]() One thing I can assure you, it's a nice profession, like flight get a bit turbulent at take-off and cruise thereafter, so is Pilot career. Like take-off and landing is critical to flight, so is Pilot career. These words sums it up. |
Olisa4all:No worries Sir, there's nothing to debate here, from your name, I want to believe you may be related with Captain Olisa who have worked mostly in Warri and Port Harcourt. Should my assumption be right, you may speak with him about this. |
Osasnidas:I like your Choice of words. However I disagree that Nigeria politician only can be use as benchmark for success. Different people have different goals in life, achieving such goals defines success within each individual context. Everyone goal is not to be politician. I partly agree no lady marries degree but you can't doubt the potentials of degrees (good ones), the fact that some politician and others do purchase these degrees speaks volume |
I noticed the recent trend of Female best graduating student in most Nigeria Universities, what is happening to my guys? Does it mean these ladies have successfully established in young minds of male folks it's about money while studying more than ever? |
Olisa4all:Do you have the facts to show its not true? If you do I'll gladly back down, typing 'not true' only isn't enough |
For me I think rate of publications to rate of citations should also be a key factor |
LOSKYXANDER:Rotary pilot is a good career choice. I am happy you have an idea of the cost implications. Same cost issues makes it difficult to get trained by companies though not impossible. However, to make yourself an attractive trainee pilot, you may want to get PPL license first. To be frank with you, there's a little Nigerian factor in most companies funding your training. If you possess a BSc, it may work against you, as pilot with BSc easily progress to management, hence a typical Nigerian Oga feels threatened as you seem to have better prospect. To corroborate my point, you will realize most pilot trained by this companies have WAEC only as at when they got trained. Another Nigerian factor is who you have to speak for you. God bless Nigeria ![]() My little advice is for you to get a PPL first, then search for companies that will trained you for CPL license. Don't be too quick to disclose you have a Degree if you got none to speak for you. Also be informed AW139, AW109, Bell412, are among the common types in Nigeria. Finally, talk with more people who knows you better and are close to the industry, they may be better positioned to advise you based on such knowledge. |
LOSKYXANDER:I have issues with my email and unable to respond to PM at the moment, you may ask any question here or be patient till I sort things out. Apologies. |
To the best of knowledge, Fixed wings and rotary wings pilot have a different salary scale. You may want to be more specific about this. Having said that, I will weigh in to give an clue about rotary wing pilots salary. If you get trained by any helicopter operator, I'm afraid you may begin your career with a regrettable figure (it's worse with a Nigerian firm) of 250K. However, as you build your flying hours and progress from mere FO to SFO to Captain, you'll be earning slightly over $3k to $8.5K depending on what client your company is flying for and your type ratings. At the moment in Nigeria, helicopter pilots flying for Shell earns more than their counterparts but you need AW139 rating. That being said, if you would like to go into flying, Fixed wing will offer you the shortest route to become Captain with less earnings. The reverse is the case for rotary wings. My advice is if you are about 30yrs, start with fixed wings, when you become a captain, convert to rotary wings. |
I'm impressed not overwhelmed. While I see this man doing what James 1:27 exhorts, this should not in any way stop the critical minds from asking relevant questions. Once again nice gesture. |
Thank you Toks2008, HNM to you |
Although difficult to conclude, I'm struggling to believe any rapist will sleep off on victim's bed after raping same, this story has K-leg. |

SPOILT9JAOLOSHO:@jnyuwa02 submission on the contrary, did not in any way implied babes are scanty in Canada, rather was from a comparative view with USA. A simple comparison of US & Canada population makes it easier to reach such conclusion. |
Mayflowa:Only more of this protest will make NDDC pay scholars, its a big shame few scholars who got paid have refused to support their colleagues, this is one sad Nigerian way of reasoning. |
GREGORIAN:Boss please send it to elderumoh@yahoo.com as well |
GREGORIAN:@bolded is highly misleading, having worked with Java for nearly a decade, very few language can match Python at the moment, may be that's why Python Dance is ongoing . On a more serious note, Learning Python is way to go |
There's no point dragging who's number one or not, the good thing is each of them have been recognized as influential. Having said that anyone can easily puts up a list reflecting their opinion. This list is just one of many such opinions. |
While Mercies and Grace of God exists, lets not forget he is a just God. I belong to the few who believes regardless of turning to God, you must pay for certain wrong we did. Was there no merciful God when Moses was stopped to enter the promised land? |
@op, the issue of suffering becomes insignificant when the purpose of this life is understood. However, the issue of suffering can be traced back to Adam when sent out of Eden, lets not misunderstand that suffering in life is one thing and suffering in life for choice of religion is totally different. Most scriptures sighted relate to the later |
