The ones I know confirm that they were paid #500,000 into their Naija account. I personally don't know anyone who has gotten any money in their UK account. But it is still good news, at least they have started paying, lets hope everything will soon be sorted out asap.

I'm into IT with postgraduate degree & Certifications. The most important requirements in IT without regard to Nigeria is what you have done or can do. Let's face the truth, not everyone with certification knows much. Certification is just an initial criteria. However, you may grow very slowly position wise without degree, which will indicate you have the required analytical and problem solving skills, among others needed for Management role

These figures would have been reasonably accurate February last year, although it did not indicated GLO's coverage of more countries. You did a good job and I'm confident you can do better than this.

They will try to hack ur twitter handle. They did so when I tried reaching the MD last month., they brought down my handle. God bless u dear for being on top of this fight!

These 2016 scholars would learn the hard way if not careful. We're in direct contact with NDDC. Don't believe anything from them, MD has twice not match his words to us. However, an insider said nothing may likely happen this month for 2016 scholars. For the scholars who left here for whatsapp group, they will regret should things not change in three months time

The planned protest has been postponed. However, we are expecting 2016 scholars to decide when suitable to go ahead with our protest, within the next few days.

The protest will hold, we are trying to carry all along

Dear Scholars,

Please stay off Whatsapp group. NDDC paid agent are behind such groups. Some 2015 scholars are yet to receive maintenance fees from NDDC as at today. Share your grievances here, don't trap yourselves in any group. Do you know some 2015 scholars were paid after they were forced to protest at Embassy in UK? I hope this helps.

I get your point but NDDC is yet to have commenced any payment process. Besides, is it not the same process PTDF, NITDA & similar govt. Agencies use? Yet they've paid their scholars. Don't defend NDDC, they're to blame

All funds are repartraited to students via CBN.

The NDDC can only draw payment vouchers and send to the CBN for final disbursement.

Somewhere between the NDDC and CBN the vouchers are lost in a heap or simply diverted to one of Aso Rock's cabal's dorm account.

I'm struggling to understand you. NDDC said late last year they're processing payment, fast forward to February, NDDC said they've just instructed Director to pay. Please leave FG out of this, too much corruption in NDDC.

How? I may be wrong but I don't think so. Early Last year former Acting MD of NDDC claimed she has paid until students protested. Only some where paid around August, others are yet to be paid. NDDC have been paying their cronies, which they claim are contractors, so do not join Buhari in this issue. Pity this man Abeg

Another protest is to be held by Nigerians in UK by 6th March. Although this time it is against NDDC. Since 2015, NDDC have refused to pay her scholars who are simply finding it difficult in the UK. While NDDC have paid some 2015 scholars after similar protest about 6 months ago, they have refused to give any reason for not paying others.

Unfortunately, same NDDC awarded scholarships to another group of scholars 2016. What is really going on with our leaders?
