Seun:Seun I got your mail. No wahala |
Honestly, this thread is really funny. @OP---MBJ has said it all |
Cuddlemii: ![]() |
Cuddlemii:Lack of money is the root of all evil baby |
I thank God for their lives |
^^^Exactly, I wanted to make some contributions but decided not to cos of same reason |
I dont see anything bad with discussing such important things before marriage, but you also have to be open to her own suggestions while doing so. Your decissions must not be final |
Double standard and hypocrism, why would Dbanj remove his blings, what has his blings got to do with his personal relationship with God. But him the thieving pastor will mount his 5star private jet and wear expensive suits and shoes and ride in expensive cars. Rubbish!!! |
**Singin to Jay-Z's tunes: When the money goes, will the honey stay** |
^^^Shut the f****k up and answer the question above your post |
^^^Am done with you son. But why is it that you have this record of derailing any thread you rear your head into |
Goldieluks:You have always been known for your peace loving ways. Ok, am calling a truce, am sheathing my sword now. Dyt:Lol. You can like this kind thing |
sexkillz:Everyone around already knows you and how deluded you are bro, too bad. Why dont you go clear things out here with your friend claremont instead of wasting you time on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-723166.99999.html#bot Goldieluks:Goldie I know and I dont doubt her love for me, but you know you need to kick some a.s.s to keep them off else they will keep buzzin like bees everywhere. These kids wont just let her rest |
claremont:I dont wish to join in you guys debate, but for the bolded, that dude is truly deluded |
^^^I think you should ask who ordered the beating or rather whose security details got him beaten him. It could be assumed that those guys were acting under instructions because she could have easily stopped it if she never liked the act. Why should she be moving around town with a siren and tormenting people with her entourage et al. Plus, they said the Officer was detained in her Residence, so she is fully behind everything. |
sexkillz:I think you are more deluded believing that you gonna marry a virgin cos maybe you believe they will make a better wife. I just wanted to know if you have changed your decission so I will know exactly where you are coming from or are you one of those guys that cant express their feelings towards a woman, so many guys out here have expressed how much they want my wife(which is making me love her more), but you are just against our marriage for no reason, come out of your shell man. Goldieluks: ![]() dammytex:Bro before I met my wife(cuddlemii), I used to have gals more than clothes. So I think you should take your own advise |
dammytex:Lol. Mehn I dont pay to play, so keep your brothel to yourself. Besides am happily married to my cuddlemii. And as for the bolded, why cant you get her off your mind anytime you are m.astu.rbating or you smoked the wrong one today? |
^^^Exactly |

^^^Tpia read the story nau. You are becoming lazy these days |
^^^Hey man, dont get me start digging up all your posts here. We all know you vowed to get married to a virgin cos you are one or has your decission changed now? |
Goldieluks:And what about Unmarried counsellors and Rev Fathers who have never been married but counsel couples that are about to get married. Most times you really dont have to experience to know how to go about things. Some people have experienced over two failed marriages and yet they are not doing any better. These days people get married and do not learn a thing from it so where is the experience? Experience is NOT what happened to you, but what you learnt from what happened to you. Not all that are married are experienced and vise versa |
Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah has ordered Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) which built and is operating the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos (MMA2) to stop the collection of N2, 500.00 passenger processing charge which the company has been collecting from air travellers. The Minister's directive is contained in a letter addressed to the Managing Director of the company and signed on her behalf by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Ms Anne Ene-Ita. The letter noted that the Federal Ministry of Aviation had not given any approval to Bi-Courtney Ltd to charge the sum of N2,500 as Passenger Service Charge. According to the letter, "There is a procedure in the Concession Agreement which must be adhered to and until then, you are to desist from the collection of the Passenger Service Charge (PSC)". Special Adviser (Media) to the Aviation Minister, Joe Obi says the Minister's directive on the PSC has been copied to the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to ensure strict compliance. On Monday the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Harold Demuren condemned the physical collection of the charges and also the hike from N1, 000.00 to N2,500.00. Passengers have vigorously protested against the charges, describing it as exorbitant and exploitative, especially as the air fares have increased by over 150 per cent. But Bi Courtney which introduced the charges on July 11, explained that it was high maintenance costs that prompted the management of the terminal to up the charges. Before the hike, Bi Courtney was charging N350.00 for passenger service charge, while facility maintenance charge was N650.00, which amounted to N1,000.000 passenger processing charge. But this has been increased by 150 per cent. According to the company, since December 22nd, 2006 it had obtained approval from the various authorities to charges $15 and N650, a total of about N3,000 per ticket. It said the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) is used by the terminal operators to maintain the terminal, adding that the annual cost of running the terminal has been increased and is reflective of the economic situation in the country. The MMA2 operators further disclosed that in the last two weeks, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), which operates other airports in Nigeria, has increased its PSC by 18 per cent for all domestic air tickets in Nigeria in all the location of the various airports. |
THE leader of a three-man gang that killed a police constable Olusegun Olufowobi at Ado Ekiti on July 20 this year, Blessing Onwurhisi, has recalled how he perpetrated the devilish act during a robbery . Onwurhisi who was paraded at the Ekiti State Police Command said it was the deceased that first shot at him before he retaliated with the only bullet in his gun. According to him, “We did not know that he was a policeman when we gained entry into his house when his wife opened the gate. He shot me in the chest and while I was down I submit (retaliated) and he also fell.” Onwurhisi, 27, who hails from Delta State, disclosed that he took into robbery to complete his education at Federal Polytechnic , Ado Ekiti, where he was studying science laboratory technology before his arrest. The suspect, was arrested alongside a 400-level medical student of Madonna University, Okija, Anambra State, Kolade Olajide and a vulcaniser, Ojo Ogundare from Ipole Iloro Ekiti for robbery and murder of the police officer at his residence in Ajebamidele Area of Ado Ekiti . The suspect, who was shot by the dead policeman had been receiving medical attention at the Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife in Osun State before police detectives swooped on him. Onwurhisi, who said he learnt how to shoot as a hunter regretted taking to armed robbery and advised youths to steer clear of robbery, saying it was sinful and unprofitable. “I know the chances of surviving are slim but if I come to this world again, I will never even be a hunter let alone become an armed robber. I know I have committed a grievous offence and I will say the truth, because the game is up,” he said. Onwurhisi pointed out that he had robbed in five places alongside Kolade before he killed the policeman, adding that the policeman happened to be the first victim he would kill since he started robbery about two and half months ago. He disclosed that the gang bought the gun for N40,000 through Kolade with the only cartridge they had been using to harass their victims , which he said he fired to kill the police officer. He said further that Kolade advised him to quit his hunting business and take robbery, so that he could live a good life and complete his diploma course at the polytechnic. The suspect exonerated the only female suspect among them, Faleye Sunkanmi of complicity in the robbery, saying she was his girlfriend and never knew that he was an armed robber. Buttressing the earlier statement made by Sunkanmi, Onwurhisi said the lady was running errands for him at OAUTH, having been deceived that he had an accident when he was arrested by the police. The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, Mr Jimoh Mohammed , said that the suspects would be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigations into the matter. Jimoh, Assistant Superintendent of Police, said the police would visit their institutions and their home states to be able to unravel enough evidence to prosecute the suspects. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=56017:how-i-killed-policeman-in-error-by-robbery-suspect&catid=1:national&Itemid=559 |

An Abuja High Court has ordered that a notice of committal to prison (Form 49) be served on the chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Farida Waziri for disobeying the court order asking her to release the assets of Victor Osita Uwajeh. This is sequel to an earlier order of court [FORM 48] of the sheriffs and civil process act earlier served on Mrs Waziri for flouting three court orders to release the assets of Mr Uwajeh. Presiding Judge Adebukola Banjoko asked Mrs Waziri to obey the directives contained in the orders served on her or she will be guilty of contempt of court and will be liable to be committed to prison. In her ruling on the order sought by the EFCC to vacate the earlier order made on the 4th day of October 2010 for the release of the accused person's properties, Mrs Banjoko noted that the Order to EFCC for the interim seizure and forfeiture "lapsed naturally. Upon its lapse, there is nothing to vacate, there is nothing to extend, and there is nothing at the point of lapse, to appeal against. In essence, the Order upon the expiration of the specified time limit, ceased to have any force of law and therefore, since the original Order was not appealed against at the outset, there really should be no fuss on the subsequent action of the Court discharging this Order, which became ineffective upon expiration." On the assets of Mr Uwajeh, Mrs Banjoko said: "Order of the 4th day of March 2010 for interim seizure and forfeiture of the under listed properties which was granted for six months has expired with no application for renewal. Therefore, the order dated 4th day of March 2010 is hereby discharged and assets seized are hereby released forthwith." The case is adjourned to the 19th day of October 2011 for Mrs Farida to appear in court to show cause why she should not be committed to prison. It would be recalled that Mr Uwajeh was arraigned on a four-count charge of forgery and for parading himself as a staff of the commission with the intention of defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, an offence contrary to section 363 of the Penal Code Act Cap 532 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 1990, and punishable under section 364 of the same Penal Code Act, PCA. He pleaded not guilty to the four-count charge. |
Despite the investment of $2.24bn (N336bn) on submarine broadband Internet cables in the country by private operators, Nigeria still spends about $450m (N67.5bn) on the importation of bandwidth annually. This was disclosed by the Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Ita Ewa, at the stakeholders’ conference and exhibition on the proposed NigComSat-1R launch in Abuja on Thursday. The minister also said that the country would follow up the replacement of the Nigeria Communications Satellite with the construction of two additional satellites. Represented at the conference by the Director of Information and Communication Technology in the ministry, Mr. Wahab Jimoh, the minister said, “Nigeria alone is spending more than $450m annually on the importation of bandwidth from Europe and America to facilitate Internet access, telephony and broadcasting in the country. “With the launch of Nigerian owned communications satellites, the revenue made from Nigeria on bandwidth by other countries will be retained in Nigeria and used for our development. This will reduce our over dependence on oil and create additional revenue streams for the nation.” Europe and North America, he noted, were saturated with bandwidth availability, while Africa, especially Nigeria, represented an untapped market potential for the consumption of satellite services. The failure of NigComSat-1, which was launched in the orbit in May 2007, had hampered the country’s operations in the satellite industry because of lack of redundancy. Ewa said, “Although it was not an unusual occurrence in the satellite industry, a vacuum was created in the services being rendered by the company. So, it is with great anticipation that we now await the launch of the replacement satellite, the NigComSat-1R, scheduled for the end of the year. “It is being planned that this launch will be followed later by NigComSat-2 and 3. We, therefore, encourage both local and foreign investors to take advantage of the hybrid quad band satellite as it was designed and built-taking into consideration the peculiarities of our African climate.” The minister added, “With the launch of the new satellite, there will be opportunities for new business development and growth in Africa. One of the socio-economic benefits will be youth empowerment through business outsourcing as obtains in the Asian countries today. “This will translate to a new source of employment and wealth creation for the citizens. Satellite technology affects every aspect of our lives through e-banking, e-governance, telecommunications, broadcasting, e-commerce and many more.” Speaking at the conference, the Managing Director, Nigeria Communications Satellite Limited, Mr. Timasaniyu Ahmed-Rufai, said the replacement of the failed satellite was 90 per cent completed. NigComSat-1, which was constructed by the China Great Wall Industry Corporation, was de-orbited after it developed a problem on November 10, 2010. The replacement of the satellite is being provided by the company at no cost to the country. It is expected to be put in the orbit in December. http://www.nigeriancompass.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2360:nigeria-spends-450m-annually-on-internet-access-others-says-minister&catid=54:nigeria-today |
MEMBERS of the House of Representatives have told former President Olusegun Obasanjo to leave them alone in their duties, saying that Chief Obasanjo should not destabilise the seventh National Assembly and its leadership. Chairman of the House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Honourable Opeyemi Bamidele, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, on Thursday, also said Chief Obasanjo should “purge himself of his seeming determination to destabilise the seventh session of the House of Representatives.” He also said the elder statesman should not return Nigeria “to the old time of civilian dictatorship over his call for the stepping down of the House leadership,” and wondered “whether Nelson Mandela or Julius Nyerere or Kwame Nkrumah could have made such a statement on the elected leadership of their countries’ parliaments.” According to Bamidele, “calling on the Speaker of the House [of Representatives] and his Deputy, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Emeka Ihedioha respectively, to resign their positions for allegedly flouting the zoning arrangement of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was a high point of dictatorship and flagrant disrespect for Nigerians and their representatives in parliament.” Bamidele, in the statement, contended that the call by the former president was “an affront to democracy as well as the generality of Nigerian citizens and the National Assembly.” He said: “We are making it clear to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo that Right Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Emeka Ihedioha will not resign their positions over the macabre dance called PDP zoning arrangement. Rather than calling for Speaker Tambuwal’s resignation, the PDP should celebrate him as an asset and rejoice in the fact that they have a member in parliament who enjoys the popular support of his colleagues and especially members from opposition parties.” |
