If you look very well you would see that these so called GO of the big and influential churches are very close to the Rulers of this country.

Imagine someone who eats from the church calling a pianist a volunteer to God? Chei Nigeria, how does he give all the tithes and offering money to God in heaven? This is a sheer wickedness, a jobless fellow who plays an instrument that moves members of your church, with an empty stomach, while you visit both local and foreign banks every day with heavy amounts of cash. Which God is these so called men of God worship my people? Jesus Christ used 5 fishes and 7 loaves of bread which people donated as tithe and offering to feed multitudes, while our own pastors use theirs to oppress the multitudes. This was a man who has been contesting to rule this country, instead of him to pay this young man off; he prefers to use more money to intimidate him.

If anyone wants to work for Christ, the fellow must emulate Christ in Love, simplicity, and humility, he is the Way, Truth and Life.
Which way Nigeria?

Am telling you, even some of these pastors make our God to look like a very wicked God, not true, He is a merciful God. Not interested in our money. I love that question you asked, cos I have wondered myself, who is the standard for all these pastors, is it not Christ. Will He be leaving the kind of life these guys are living if He was with us today.

One last example: J. Martins that is popular today is a member of my church Dominion City. He is a well known begger. Some people have totally been brainwashed to the level that they cannot think on their own anymore. So if you knew all the principles of God's blessings, how come you have not become the richest Nigerian. You guys should stop listening to the lies your jet-loving-pastors are feeding you with. So J-Martins is now a success because he did not collect his salary and the elevation God gave to him is to be singing "give me your fine fine love" and others. Let me tell you, God's blessings most times is not even in monetary forms, its only Nigerians that go to church with expectations of what God will do for them, they never go there to worship him in true love and spirit, always expecting something from him, so its safe to say you lot don't really love Him. Trust me, if not for those expectations and miracles, most Nigerians will never step into any church.

@OP----Okotie should pay the guy up, even if he never owed the guy, is it not only Christlike to help him with some money so he can continue his life, afterall he was very useful in the church. These pastors are very stingy.

@All, the poster is not trying to say he is not appreciative of what God has done for him, but just saying that "Religious" Nigerians will always be quick to give the glory to their pastors if it had happened to them and trust me, if this guy was a member of a certain church in Nigeria and called his pastor while all these happened, the pastor will be sure of having about 100 new members next sunday cos many readers here will rush there. Because Nigerians go to church just because of what they will gain from God and not to worship Him in true love and spirit. Most Nigerians try to make God look like He is a wicked God, some even believe that if you do not attend a certain church that God will not answer your prayers, NO, He is a benevolent God, He cares for us all.
