No more tomato, one kongo of rice is now 600 naira and many others. Students like me can feel it. May God save us o. |
These category of people are not feeling much the bad turn affecting the country presently. Some of them may even still be siding the presidency hoping for better things ahead. Those set still frown at anyone abusing the current administration. Don't mind them, it is because they are still in one of the below categories. 1) THE FULL TIME DEPENDENT "HOME BOYS" --- These set include those that still live under their parent's roof. They include lazy graduates, adults,School children etc They don't buy anything with money but rather they depend on their parents or guardians for meal. They don't care how their parents or guardians got the money.. All they want is food on their tables. Those people can't feel the inflation and bad state of the economy currently facing the country. 2) The FULL TIME HOUSE WIVES- Those people are not concern about the inflation in this country. Since their husband are the ones providing for everything in the house. 3) THE CORRUPT RICH MEN: These set of people don't mind if the price of goods increase by 1000%, since the don't work for the money they have. They either got their money through bribery and corruption, theft, foggery or even money ritual. So they have enough money to waste since the won't feel sorry for wasting money that are not theirs. 4)THE RICH MEN'S CHILDREN-- They are born with silver spoons in their mouth. Their stores is always filled with food even during tough economic melt down. 5) THE POLITICIANS/PUBLIC OFFICE HOLDERS- A former CBN governor once said that throughout his appointment, he never bought petrol with his money. A lot of public holders today receives a lot of allowances and so many other privileges that won't cause them to feel anything about inflation or any other bad thing in the country. |
very lucrative. But there are nurses and there are nurses. The one with degree, those are the real nurses, the ones from nursing school. Those ones are local nurses. Which one hath thou? |
jstbeinhonest:I did not say borehole! I mean the water they do supply from water cooperation. Haven't u read filter bed in chemistry and industrial purification of water. Oh u are not use to it. Always borehole and borehole. I pray earthquack won't occur in this nation as we kept on digging and exploiting the earth in search of water. NB. we have a well in the house am staying but it's been useless since dis development |
since I have posted this no other person from other parts of Nigeria has said they enjoy the same thing as we enjoy here. hmmm. which way Nigeria. |
[quote author=gsparks01 post=45154154]lol this guy stays at Zulu |
Don't complain to me if u are in Ife that u don't enjoy water from water cooperation. Go and complain to ur caretaker or landlord because it neans that ur house did not pay for water cooperation services or maybe u don't av a tap or something in ur house. If not continue pulling ur well while we enjoy continuous potable water supply. If u are OAU student say hi |
lawrenceunaa:where u see borehole? Borehole ko holebore ni |
coolbreeze44:yes na opposite OAU campus gate. AserifaOla. Maybe water cooperation has cut off the pipe in ur house from the main water supply because we enjoy water here o in my house. Though not all house has tap or subscribe to water cooperation |
See What We Now Enjoy In Ile-ife (photo) This is what we need in this country! I really want to use this medium to commend the Osun State Water cooperation (Ile-Ife axis) for the regular and almost constant water supply that has greatly improved since the beginning of this year unlike previous years where it was very scarce. Now in my house today, we students off campus fetch and fetch water and also store in storex tanks. Infact there was a time when there was no interrupted water for almost a month. In Ile-Ife presently , you don't need to dig bore-hole or well because it can end up been useless like thewell in my house currently. Now I see one area where Osun state is better than my state (Ogun) as at today. More power to your elbow.Keep on pumping that water! I hope this is not a temporal development. Fp to let others state government learn from this.

If you think sport is your line and you are seeking for the best school that can develop your talent more. I will advise you to consider Great Ife as a better option. Considering how greatly endowed this university is in terms of sports. Note, these pictures are just tips of an iceberg, as there are other indoor sports like gym , karate etc that may not appear here. Check some of them out Photo Credits- Muyiwa Ogunnaike's Blog BELOW IS OAU SWIMMING POOL. Located besides sports complex.Very close to Akintola hall female hostel. People that graduated from OAU before 2012, may not know this swimming pool.
