OMG may God rest there souls.mean while driving on a high way required a handful of experience, no human is perfect but experience matters alot,long distance driving is quite different from years of driving in a town. Pls we shd all take that into considerations when planing to drive on a long journey that a simple mistake can ends one life whilst the need to know the rules and regulations, all the road signs when to over take and when not to. Please go to the Towers yourself and submit it. You need to sign on a submission list. I submitted on Monday, more than 600 people have already submitted the acceptance letter. Yes. Six hundred and thirty something as at Monday (for those who peddle lies of 400 GTs).

Someone once mentioned here that there will be compulsory retirement,I overheard someone saying yesterday that from M2 upwards were retired,don't really know if it's true,but an MD in one of the SBU was replaced and he still has some time left in the system,but the word is that he was retired and will be paid off. With this reshuffling,people are moving and as such spaces are being created...the staffs that have gone for the COC are surely moving to Deputy managers if they succeed,which means SS2 staffs are going to be moved up to SS1..2012 set are due to move up to ss3 already,plus this their internal reshuffling too...guys there's hope....we need to just keep hope alive and believe all will work for our good...my mantra tho is,"if God cannot do it for me,nobody can"

Getting the job first should be anyone's primary concern. When you have the offer letter in your hands, things become clearer..making decisions become easy. The best one can do to stay safe and mentally alright is not to be too expectant. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Na so local men, including me, begin calculate NNPC mouth watering salary plus #4m annual upfront allowance. When offer letter was released, local man didn't get... The heartbreak ehn...

Funny enough, some were busy calculating how they will spend the first #4m upfront allowance when they have not even gotten the offer letter.

NNPC basic salary for GT at entry level was about 113k on paper, as stated on the offer letter of those who got the offer. Come see, complain But, I don't think that's the real actual amount. But e no pass 200k cha for entry level. Na allowance be the real deal.

So, what have I been saying all these while: worry less about salary for now. Worry more on how to get the offer letter in your hands first. First thing first...

No be small tinx ooh. up to now I write. am yet to believe I didnt get the offer letter. The confidence from the interview at the Towers, was Woow!
My panel already told me the unit where I was going to work. Can't just explain what transpired afterwards....too devastating oooh

Someone like me is even hopeful of another list......

None ooh but I was close to getting that of NNPC but don't just know the Politics that was played and am yet to even recover from the disappointment but worthy of note, is the fact that credence was given to STEM Graduates than those of us in the social Sciences/Humanities.

I hope INEC will be fair enough to give preference to experts in this field as it were with NNPC!

What career prospects do a young man have with INEC?. Specifically, between NNPC and INEC, where is better? I need wise inputs plz

You may be surprised that even if you were pitched against those from the so called "North", you may still not be among the top 25 from some of those states. The fact that Federal character was used does not mean it favours the "North". It may well be that if that criteria was not used, there may be disproportionately more people from the north employed that from the south and this will lead to acrimony.
I know the general idea is that the "North" benefits more but that does not mean there are not many smart people from there.
During my set, after FSTP, there were more people from the "South" at the bottom than from the "North". And all those sacked for forgery were from the "South". So chill, lets keep striving for a better Nigeria.

Sorry bro ...let me try to paint a little picture of what might have happened from what I gathered..which collaborated with some of the things napo2012 said....so after the interviews, recommendations were made to the recruitment committee and they compiled list towards ending August/beginning of September ...but there were rumors that the list compiled some ppl who didn’t pass the cbt were included coupled with some small issue d Gmd had had with Group Hr when he was still ...Ggm so they suspended the recruitment ...because of integrity of the process ... they were later told towards middle or end of September to clean up the list since they couldn’t cancel as a lot had been spent...so by first week in October there was a final final list which ur name might have been included...it was just waiting the necessary approvals..though they focused on other things ...some time in November they took the list upwards and there was some complain of balance ...from powers that be ....and Gmd just brought it back now to Hr not recruitment committee again..to find a way to balance it ..which was when a lot of the reshuffling was done ...a lot of names fell out....then to balance in some states they just took some top performing ppl in that state not really minding the course since they ‘ll still be trained....a lot of ppl didn’t know that the recruitment committee selection list which was supposed to be the major final selection wasn’t final as it still underwent some major surgery by Hr..since they were trying to rush..which was Napolitano2012 said his contact asked for his bosses nephew details again...around ending nov/dec ..after this was done ..some few tweaks here and there were done ..which done brought forward this list...though what I wasn’t sure about was how Hr ..removed and added and if u recall Napolitano2012 said a lot of ppl would get this based on luck....this was d little I gathered though

Sorry to read this but permit me to tell you that interview panels sometimes would not want to shatter your confidence immediately. They cheer you up even when you're undoing.
I had a similar experience 3 years ago at KPMG's final interview but if you ask me, all I will say is I did well because the man kept smiling and nodding. But deep down, I might just be entertaining him without necessarily meeting up the requirements in his checklist.
Fast forward to now, I'm so grateful to God for not allowing the process to be successful else I will be totally astray for a meager salary.
In a nutshell, stay focused and do not use human expressions to judge your performance. Cheers
