No mention of MCAS being fixed.
They still built these planes despite not sure if buyers?
Airbus messed up not taking them to the cleaners with this debacle. They didn't take fill advantage of grabbing more market share when they have planes capable of doing so i.e A320 & A220. |

Good move, ever since the hike in import duties. What have they achieved? They should look at the data, is there any positive correlation between increasing the import duties and development of the perpetual ailing automotive sector. |

Hi guys.. Just to keep the morale high.. Can we get some testimonies from our bosses here. Who had successfully gotten a job, who had made any significant progress....the realities of the day are quite different.
Unfortunately it goes just beyond learning a skill at the moment. You have to demonstrate such skill, network, build a portfolio amongst others
More suggestions and comments are welcome. Cheers!!! |

CareerPorte: You just nailed it. That my point exactly. People learn and comprehend in different ways. Saying watching videos is not enough to become grounded is totally off the point. I learnt everything I know in Data Science through videos and online Bootcamp. I'm still a work in progress though, Nobody knows it all. But I can tell you for free that I have learnt enough to land me an entry-level data science role. I got a couple of invites for interview for data science jobs in the USA, I couldn't attend because they all want candidates residing in the US even though its remote. The idea was to convert remote workers to full-time after covid subsides.
I just want to enjoin everyone striving hard to learn data science not to give up. There a long road ahead, but appreciate yourself for what you have learnt so far. It is not easy to learn excel alone to mastery level not to talk of SQL and Machine Learning that requires a lot of complex algorithm for building your models. Have a plan, draw a learning schedule for your self and give yourself timelines. Don't try to learn everything at once. Take it one step at a time.
What seems difficult today, will seem like a stroll in the park to you in a couple of months from now with hard work, consistency and dedication. Download different data sets on Kaggle and try to make meaning out of them using what you have learnt so far, be it excel, PowerBI, SQL, TABLEAU or Machine learning.
Believe me, you have what it takes to become a full-fledged data scientist.
Don't be discouraged guys. We will all come back here one day to share our story of how we landed a great job through our skills.
KEEP GRINGING. Hi, I'd like to send you a DM. How may I contact you? I just want to hear more about your journey. Thanks in anticipation. |

Imakeherdrip: Good
Someone asked me to build my portfolio with the following projects since I do not have any industrial experience.
Machine learning projects 1. CNN 2. RNN 3. NLP
Descriptive Analysis 1. Create dashboards showing various Analysis 2. Make sure to use scrapy for data sourcing
Subscribe (monthly) for a cloud service to deploy your models (costs money)
The above would take some months to achieve (especially if you have a job).
And I'm yet to learn scrapy --
Thank you Lord! Wow.. That's quite lot. Slow but steady.. Surely we'd get there. |

Imakeherdrip: This data science journey is taking too long I must confess.
If I had focused on software dev, I'd have covered the full .Net core by now - including entity, testing and everything that concerns web dev
Having consumed Soo much for the past 4months, i still have some gaps to be filled - which will eventually lead to software dev!
May God help us!
Who's experiencing same?
Also, who got an invite to Xyples LLC for the on-site assessment for data analyst role scheduled for today? Same here.. You aren't alone. I had to drop data science and focus on analysis part. Power BI and excel + Python. Still taking time although other commitments are slowing me. Its well. |

Sellout: Yo, how does one extract the date from strings in that date field. I don't want to see reported I only know how to do this in python. Split the string and remove the first item if it matches to reported. Or you can use a replace function for the target string. Replace it with an empty space or '' '' |

Now to your question.
The major difference is between the First Airdots and the ones after it in how they connect. The Airdots S and Airdots 2 connect the same way. They all look the same way though as they changes are internal. Hi.. Which of the airdots supports fingerprint tap for music playback. Hi guys, this thread has been a real source of inspiration to me and because of that I am about take the biggest risk in my life so far.
I have been jobless before I got my current work so I know how the streets are but the nature of it makes me despise my job, the salary Is enough to cater for my basic needs monthly but hard to squeeze in some savings.
I have been on my current job for more than 18 months now and I started learning data analysis seriously May this year thanks to a dataquest scholarship.
I'm quite proficient with python and it's libraries but I feel I don't know much yet.. My job is hindering me from making significant progress in learning and building up my portfolio.
My main reason for this post is to ask if its going to be worth the risk quitting solely to focus on developing myself with the aim of getting a job by the end of this year or being proficient enough to get gigs. I just want to do something I love but current constraints wouldn't allow me.
Thoughts please. |

SavageBoy: Very encouraging...
By the way,is solid knowledge on SQL, tableau and excel sufficient enough for one to get a (remote/freelance) job? I'm at this stage too.. Currently I just scour freelance sites, register with them and see what sort of jobs available that matches your skills to an extent.. Customise your profile to fit those jobs and apply for them.. I'm registered only on upwork tho and so far no jobs yet but mainly because I am not that serious. I hope this helps |

Gcool2: Pls guys, pls I was trying to import data file with 7million rows from SQL server into the data model, but the thing kept loading and reloading as Soon as subscription is exhausted, and I will have to refresh and start from the beginning to load the data after subscribing again
From what I learnt, columnar Database compresses big files, but the case is different here cos I have used up to 5 gig of internet data yet to no avail.
My question now is,must I have like 10 gig sub before I can import big files?
See screenshot...
The f transaction file has loaded like 3 million plus rows before it stopped..
Pls I await ur responses If possible try to run your analysis using a cloud service like GCP or AWS |

Please anyone can help me resolve this issue of installing ggplot2 on RStudio...
I use R version 3.6.3 which I believe is the latest version
I have tried installing with dependencies set to TRUE
I have scoured stackoverflow for answers but none have worked.
It keeps telling me these two errors
1 (as 'lib' is unspecified )... As seen on the top of the image
2. Installation of package ggplot2 had non zero exit status.
I'd appreciate it guys, anyone using RStudio who ever encountered this problem?
