Not all help should be considered as help!!!

This story is like when you hope for something really good, but then it turns out not so great. Imagine there was this director of human resource in a federal ministry who promised to help his nephew get a job after he finished school. The nephew was excited and sent his CV, thinking he'd get a cool job.

But the waiting was tough – two years went by before anything happened. When the job finally came, it wasn't as awesome as the nephew thought. The pay was really low, not much more than N59,500 monthly. It was like all his big hopes turned into disappointment.

Now, here's the surprising part: the director’s own daughter also finished school around the same time. And he got a job for her in Nigeria Security Printing and Minting. A-class agency abi?

As the nephew began his new job, challenges emerged. His once-thriving tailoring business dwindled, and he had to borrow money for transportation and meals. He left his tailoring job for his federal job, only to find himself idle, spending his days on his phone.

Question : could this ordeal truly be called ‘help’?

In what way could this federal job impact the life of his nephew?

This is truly a quagmire.

I suggest he finds a way to sustain his business. Maybe putting someone there and since its a government job with that pay, I doubt they'd take attendance seriously so he can be at his shop a few days a week.

We all know having a government job is a life saver in most cases so he should not let it go.

Combine the 2 if possible and always be on the lookout for better opportunities.

May Almighty Allah ease our affairs.

So I met a very top shot in NCC today, he notified me that NCC recruitment is done and dusted, only if I had come to him earlier. He then assured me that if I know any other agency and I'm sure are doing recruitment, he can be of help.

Haven read through this thread to yesterday, I can list the following;
RMAF, NUPRC, TCN, NILDS, SEC, PENCOM, NIMASA

For IBB, I think you should consider agencies headed by indigenes of Niger state, like FIRS. Or agencies with headquarters in Niger state like HYPADEC(I’m not very sure if it’s their HQ that is in minna tho)

Most government office holders were relatively safe during buhari regime. Even when you had gross misdemeanors with evidence against you. Buhari rarely moves to remove them office.

This is a breath of fresh air and change that is much needed. No one in a leadership position should be relaxed when things aren't working to standard.

Some people are here wasting precious time waiting on Govt jobs that may not work out while a lot of jobs are in the private sector with better pay yet unfilled. Look beyond govt jobs.

I cannot count the number of people I've met who resigned from very good private jobs. I am talking managerial positions for a government work paying a fraction of their private job salary.

These are the ones who were able to get the federal jobs. Countless others out there are seeking.

Mine too, they collected the C.V, then blocked and ignored me. It's being almost two years, I just lock up too, if we meet, I just greet and pass...That thing pain me sha, since then, I decided to never ever in my life beg for anything from anybody but God alone...
