christinie:You are the only one on this thread with common sense. This is a moral lesson to anyone who wants to drink from the poisonous well of the APC. This is the first of more political assassinations to come. A union with no central and moral head will surely descend into anarchy. Just watch the series Game of Thrones, and you will understand what is at hand. May God save us. |
ADAMUdaCOWBOY:The PDP, had no access to him, after his exit from their fold. In whose rally, did he first develop health problems: APC rally. Go and question your party chairman, Timpriye Silva and Timi Alaibe, on what transpired between them and the ex-PDP Bayelsa state chairman. This is an item of the 100 days dividends of democracy delivered by the CHANGE APC government. I hope you are enjoying it. |
APC, better start fulfilling the promises listed on that Billboard. If not, they should expect the hand of the God of Moses and the Israelites to descend upon them and their households. The ten plagues will be child's play, compared to what will hit them |
andresia:Precisely, the new PDP, will not give a ticket to men with turncoat incentives |
itsobasi:PMB was rejected by 3 geopolitical zones 3 times. |
Flaws of a Ribadu candidature * A one time association with OBJ * A citizen of Northern extraction * A onetime beneficiary of the ACN * Lack of political experience * Lack of a realistic conservative political ideology * Lack of a wide geographical political fan base * Lack of a strong vibrant political backbone in the PDP community |
Anyone who cannot comprehend the wisdom of Olisa Metuh's statement, is a lover of Autocracy, political instability, a patron of moral bankruptcy, a proponent of mediocrity and hypocrisy and most importantly, a champion of destruction. |
Dividends of CHANGE democracy. |
kamair237:After this disastrous news, you still think the APC stands a chance. Who, in his right mind will want to vote for a party that is an agent of DEATH. It's the APC, that is dead in Bayelsa, not the illustrious and indefatigable PDP. |
Pierocash:You must be joking. In whose rally, was it reported that the Colonel had a faint spell. After his exit from the fold of the PDP, no one from the PDP had any access to him. His death can only be tied to the antics of his new jolly friends. Someone in that callous party of yours, did not like his influx into the equation, and so chose to delete him. This is on the head of the APC, and no other. |
Just heard this news from some notable sources. The APC, its chairman, Chief Oyegun, Timpreye Silva, Timi Alaibe and the NWC of the APC should be held solely responsible for the mysterious death of the ex-PDP Bayelsa state chairman. Prior to his exit from the PDP, he was hale and hearty. But the moment he joined the dog eat dog world of the APC, he all of a sudden developed a strange illness. Now he is dead. As I stated in an earlier post, the government of the APC will deliver to the citizens of Nigeria, an increase in Political assassinations, as one of its dividends of democracy. A lesson, for all those who parambulate into the murky and deadly world of Bourdillion meets Daura politics. |
PMB says, he will not be selective in his anti-corruption campaign, but surprisingly, Audu Abubakar, who has a corruption charge against him, and a mountain of allegations of financial impropriety against him, is the flagbearer for his party in the Kogi state elections. Change, indeed. |
Glowstone:Thank God, there is someone on this thread with common sense. Who, in this country will want to engage in sexual intercourse with an Asian, when the nation is overrun with beautiful, glamorous women from the east and south- south enclave. |
Dividends of CHANGE Democracy Next year, we shall get more dividends * Full scale inflation * Recession * High Insecurity * Ethnic related clashes * Political instability * High mortality rate * Consistent fuel scarcity * Poor balance of payments * Poor balance of trade * Poor currency exchange rate * Oil price hike * Sudden epileptic power outages * Complete breakdown of refineries and pipelines * High spate of politically motivated assassinations * increase in mob violence and jungle justice * Total breakdown of law and order * Huge increase in corruption This and many more will be the dividends of Change Democracy next year. Long Live Dictatorship Propaganda and blind sheep followership |
Your disdain and disrespect for the feelings and complaints of your peers from other tribes, aside yours will land you in hot soup, soon enough. |
ba7man:Yes, and it should happen to Akpabio, of all people. Now, it so happens that Akpabio is a bad driver, while the "driver" of the US consulate's vehicle is Mr Bean. |
ba7man:Yes, and it should happen to Akpabio, of all people. Now, it so happens that Akpabio is a bad driver, while the "driver" of the US consulate's vehicle is Mr Bean. |
kenonze:Please enlighten us on the definition of Propaganda and what it entails |
ba7man:What are the odds that a Vehicle registered to the US embassy would be involved in a collision with another vehicle, that was transporting the Senate minority leader, who happens to be an ex-govenor of an oil rich state that is in the grips of a political party that is presently, not in good terms with the US government. Connect the dots and read between the lines. You will see, that which everyone has failed to realise. |
otr1:If you have all the answers, why are you seeking my opinion. |
Tonitelli:Well, I guess you have it all figured out. Good luck with your blind conclusion |
Ask the contractor. |
Tonitelli:You are putting to the sword, the reputation of all those who had the uphill task of instructing you on the Use of English. I clearly stated: to any one with a measure of intelligence, that the US embassy was trying so hard to COVER UP, the failed attempt on the life of the senate minority leader. They were not privy to the information, at the onset of the plan. But later on, in learning of the folly and the consequence of this unfortunate incident, decided to chip in and save the day. I never insinuated that they planned the attack. Learn to read and comprehend. |
Mynd44:As I said, you need to first look at the report by the construction firm, before reaching a conclusion. There are many factors that go into the cost appraisal of the project. Would the cost of the London bridge be the same as that of the Golden gate bridge, if they were constructed in this era. |
tobtap:When the deal was struck between the contracting firm and the government, the president forced a review of the cost downwards. Even the same Easterners you continually lambast, complained of the payment policy. This was resolved by the Anambra govenor, who enlightened the aggrieved parties on the importance of the construction of the bridge, over that of cost. Hence the commencement of the bridge construction. |
Mynd44:There are so many factors that go into cost appraisal of a construction project, especially something precarious like that of a bridge. Have you read the contracting firm's report on the bridge. You and so many other Nigerians just browse unintelligible opinions of disgruntled elements and you put that here as your position. Ask yourself this * Is the water body of the bridge at lekki as shallow or as deep as that of the Niger, and Vis a Vis the other way round. |
tobtap:If the OP is clueless, why don't you try and enlighten us on what the true length of the bridge will be. And also, fill us in, on what the true length and breadth of the Niger at that confluence. |
The second Niger bridge project was put together by the GEJ administration, and no one can take it away from him. The PDP, for whatever strategic reason, known to them, chose to cede power to the APC, and so allowed all the unintelligent lies told against them. Everyone, knew that work had commenced on the Niger, but there was a sort of opaque journalism on the situation of the project. Now, the shroud covering the project has been torn, and the true revelations on the state of the project is becoming clear to all Nigerians. Hence the new barrage of lies being put out to the people, so as to distract us from the truth. Likewise with the ridiculous review put in place, to slow down construction, so that when it is eventually completed, all Nigerians will remember is the fictitious allegations against it's benefactor. |
otr1:It's hard to kill a king. And if they succeed, against all odds, then Mimiko will step up. |
Tonitelli:You probably have a problem with sentence comprehension. I was establishing the fact that the embassy was establishing a cover for an attempt on Akpabio's life, which was planned and executed by elements in the PMB administration. Not that the US planned it. Learn to read and comprehend. |
litetias:Compare Akpabio's statement with that of the US embassy. Connect the dots. Check Akpabio's activities since his election to the senate, and you will notice a pattern. I can only show you the breadcrumbs, you have to follow the trail |
