OP, though I share your concerns, I must point out the mistake in your pun. The king of the North, in this case would be someone from the wrong side of the tracks. And the iron throne is in Kingslanding, Westeros, which is situated in the south. Rob stark was the only enthroned king of the North. And PMB is no Rob Statk |
babadem2much:It's not his fault that he was involved in a kangaroo trial of a purported enemy of the state. The question, is what was Col Ali's opinion on the judgement effected against the accused. If he felt the judgement delivered wasn't fair, then why didn't he excuse himself from the trial. Why is it, that till this day, he is yet to make a formal apology to the family of the late freedom fighter. please, forget about this argument. The new customs boss, has no business partaking in government. If we were in a civilised country, he would be standing trial for murder, instead of being rewarded for his supposed "LOYALTY". |
This was supposed to be the next phase of the refurbishment and maintenance model developed by the GEJ administration. Just like the electricity sector, it's obvious that the oil sector has gone out of the hands of the public sector. The strategy developed by Diezani, was for the refineries to be upgraded to a stage, fit for auction. This is what the PMB government, has failed to comprehend. The government does not have the resources or wherewithal to continue shouldering the huge responsibilities that come with the oil sector. Only, the private sector has the resources, expertise and flexibility to manage, and profit from the oil sector. Due to government's plethora of functions, it's necessary for it to shed the excess weight and focus on the primary functions, which directly affect the people. Also if we want the oil sector to become efficient, effective, profitable and most importantly, reliable, then government has to hands off, and pass the baton to the private sector, that has the capability to handle the Hydra headed monster called Oil. Government has no business doing business. |
HDee:And he just started by playing it safe, and not taking the tough risk which could lead to a more favourable result. The worst employees are friends and wellwishers of employers |
HDee:Strength of character shows purpose It shows indomitable spirit It shows tenacity It shows resourcefulness It shows versatility It shows creativity and innovation But most importantly, it shows testament of success. A man without these virtues will most likely end up a failure, despite how colourful and experienced they appear. |
Amaechi, answer this * Are you happy with your exclusion from the government * What is your perspective on the appointment of the new SGF, at your expense * Where you ever promised the position of the SGF * Did you want the position of the SGF * Do you share the same view as the school of thought, which believes that the appointment of officials should be done without adherence to the ethics of federal character * Do you have your eye on any other position in this dispensation |
Raymondenyi:And to coach a football team, you need to face the pitch To Marshall an army, you need to have your eyes on the battlefield To direct traffic, the warden needs to stand at the crossroads orchestrating the flow I can go on and on. Can you |
kITATITA:Please list the primary functions of Government. The nation is swarming with illiterates like you. That is the problem, nothing else |
philips70:So anyone who voices an opinion, in opposition to yours is an IDIOT and irresponsible. Since you and the President are the only ones who are aware of the Master plan, carry on. What goes up must come down and the sun must rise in the east and set in the west. Men like Hitler and Gaddaffi can never achieve a noble end, even after promising Utopia. Very soon, PMB will tire of the Idiots, and set his eyes on the "WISE" ones, like you. |
You want to spearhead the progression and development of the country, by spreading lies and utilising the tools of misinformation. It makes no sense to create this bogus story, so as to hold brief for the President. Femi Adesina, is already tasked with that job. "A friend to Onu told you", what a joke. Mr Ajayi, you deserve a one way trip to Krazee town, for this ridiculous story. |
HDee:Doesn't it show more strength of character, for a leader to work with all manner of people unfamiliar to him, and still at that, get them to work together to achieve an objective. Your position, sounds to me like COWARDICE. |
enairaprof:Don't even open this door. Your ridiculous manoeuvre cuts both ways. List their achievements and state clearly what criteria was used in selecting them from the wide pool of nominees. Your stupid question even casts more of an aspersion on the nomination of the candidates, than making the claim of PMB. |
I pity citizens from the southwest. After being stunned, the ACN leadership has gone to town with this incredulous story to hoodwink their blind followers into thinking that everything is under control. This men will lie and kill, just to keep on playing the Puppet master. Fashola was never a choice in PMB's narrow pool of candidates. If you are so sure about this crap of a story, answer this * Why didn't PMB appoint Fashola, way before the scandals began * Since Osinbajo is the VP, doesn't it follow that, he would always end up with a southwesterner as his deputy. Hence Fashola was never an option * Why not hire Fashola as the chief of staff, and pick a Northerner familiar to the VP as the deputy chief of staff This and many more questions prove the OP's assertions are completely wrong |
sameer1212:I trust you. Very soon he will be made the personal driver for PMB |
LouisVanGaal:You know nothing of Vital statistics, operational analysis, game theory, barriers to entry, capital flight, IS-LM equation. That's why you think the past administration was a flop. When you have a knowledge of economics, its parameters and what it truly entails, you will know what NOI, Diezani and GEJ did for the country. Till then, keep your mouth shut. |
LouisVanGaal:Demography is a very important part of Vital statistics, which is essential in the formulation of policies. Numbers are the beginning and end of Everything. There is no way you can separate Demography from government. And right now the same Demography you have chosen to ignore, points to an inevitable failure of this administration. Numbers might not win a battle, but they sure do raise the odds. Please use your brain, and try putting out opinions that show you had a measurable, considerable amount of Education. |
Yinkahlite:If your therapy does not include Anaerobic exercises and tremendous workout for five days a week, which will require a duration of 3months and above, before seeing moderate results. Then I suggest you F**K OFF. |
LouisVanGaal:So to you, the No1 Golden rule is to heat up the polity, while disregarding the wishes and aspirations of your people, all in the name of a grand master plan that only you as the leader is aware of. Congratulations, you are a certified Mugu |
Sweetlemon:A straightforward answer, is all that I require. Do the appointees possess better qualifications and expertise than their peers and colleagues in the other regions. Also, if a clean past is all that is required for nomination and selection, then why not make the leader of Ansar Udeen society, the Govenor of CBN. |
Anyone who replies Pierocash, should have his head examined |
ifyan:The OP does not know the layman's definition of DEMOCRACY. Perhaps he thinks, it is Government by force, to rule the forced and created by the forceful. |
please can you state categorically the achievements of the appointees, that made them edge out their competitors for the job. |
I pity you people. You keep digging the grave for your entire region to be buried in. Don't worry, when the Ministerial list comes out, you, Femi and the gang will learn that you do not hold a tiger by its tail. You will see, firsthand, the true nature of a Neo-islamist President. Do you think IBB and Dogoyaro were playing scrabble when they released that speech. You will soon meet your morning, ewu. |
Suspect33:Sorry, Buhari might be your king, but he is not ours. We have a right to voice our opinions as citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Maybe the free lunch and pocket money the barrister receives has made him forget the constitution. And FYI: Nigeria's biggest problem has always been Mediocre slaves and hypocrites like your blind self, who see nothing wrong with their breadwinners, failing to point out the errors they make as, the humans they are |
morereb10:The day this Mouth for hire political thug will go against his breadwinners, will be the day that the sun will rise in the west and set in the east. |
kamair237:Precisely, very soon, Amaechi will smile. He will be made PMB's personal chauffeur, and Aisha's lead handmaiden |
You twisted the facts, to arrive at a conjecture that absolved your hero of all the blame. You are a fantastic story teller. keep on feeding yourself lies. Why didn't your messiah appoint them before the heap of allegations were laid at their doorstep. The chance of Fashola and Amaechi getting a slice of the cake was always slim and nonexistent. Don't worry, PMB will soon make Fashola his head chef and Amaechi his Personal chauffeur. |
The SS and SE don't need to voice out any concerns. All they need to do, is watch and wait, until this administration implodes. Then they can simply come in and pickup the pieces, nothing more. All good things come to those who wait |
If you had put forward something intelligible, it would have been a surprise. The minority will put you in your place very soon |
