If you are someone in the employment of a public or private outfit, you will know what duty and company loyalty is. All the comments were arranged by the top brass of the then DSS. She was only the spokesman for the agency. If she was overstepping her boundaries, the DSS would have queried her or suspended her for misconduct. They didn't , so therefore, you can tell that she was by the book in her actions. |
NgeneUkwenu:Wow, your love for Amaechi is beyond crazy. You even took a fellow compatriot to the cleaners, just to defend your sponsor. If only Ddipset knew about your soft spot for your demigod, he wouldn't have typed that comment. It's now obvious, that you only care about Amaechi, and not PMB. |
The PMB government has entrapped himself and his vice. Expect a news daily, in a week or two to release an almost accurate account of the President's financial status. The unofficial publication of El Rufai's financial status comes to mind. |
PMB's first 100 days has been monumental. Below are a few of his iconic achievements. * Imposition and hijacking of INEC * Decimation and reduction of the staff of the DSS * Nepotism, bigotry and favouritism is now a criteria for appointments and recruitment into the nation's public institutes * Flagrant abuse and disregard for processes and due procedure * Massive corruption being peddled by perm secs and civil servants * Consistent assassination attempts on political big wigs * Economic decline and decrease in foreign investment * A maligned and miscalculated security plan * lack of policy direction Among numerous other achievements, the country looks headed for recession and a large budget deficit. Happy 100 days. |
GEJ's assets declaration, despite some flaws, was a more holistic account of all his assets. The bolded, was the main attraction, in which he disclosed his total worth in shares, not just giving us what company he has invested in, but the amount of shares, he has with each company. The fact is that, both him, Yaradua and PMB, all gave us a portion of what they are truly worth, but the difference is that GEJ, gave us the most accurate account, while PMB, under pressure, gave us a Clear misrepresentation of his true worth, with errors and omissions noticeable to even the blind |
The customs officers will so deal with this man. He is not a charismatic individual, neither is he a shrewd accountant. What would have been required to break the mould of the custom officers would have been someone who is versed in diplomacy or an accountant who is good with numbers. This is just a sumptuous reward for Ali's undying "loyalty" and his monetary investments. |
MabraO:Asset /noun: (2) (usually plural) a thing of value, especially property, that a person or company owns, which can be used or sold to pay debts. Tell us in economic terminology, what the watch would be registered under. |
No, OP, the watch is actually a liability. Go and purchase a comprehensive economics senior secondary text book for your answer. |
You are so awed by your opponent, you chose to pick a pseudonym carved from his alias. You should seek therapy, to help you deal with your inferiority complex |
Anyone who actually believes that this truly is the full financial statement of PMB, is an ardent follower of Sesame street. Sooner, than later someone will give us a true peek into the true financial state of the President. This is the age of whistleblowers and technological journalism. The APC, will soon learn the dangers of playing with people's expectations. |
In a minute or two, this thread will be closed and the moniker will be banned. |
In FCDA, immigration and so many other public institutions, the level of corruption being practiced by the staff is alarming. It has never been as bad as it is now. The civil servants right now are so brazen, that they don't care about covering it up. The APC has given a rubber stamp and clean bill of health to the various institutions with the so called Buhari body language myth. If you think Olisa Metuh is kidding about this, then you are living in a fools paradise. Also, though the supposed public declaration of assets without specified documents showing the financial nature of the numbers, is commendable, PMB and PYO should know that if one iota of their assets is omitted from the list, then they are in for it. This is the age of information and so nothing can stay hidden for long. |
Soldiers who were involved in mutiny, being rewarded for their disloyalty to the Nigerian flag and pledge. This government has turned the pyramid on its head. They will soon reap what they have sown |
oluwaSmith1:If wishes were horses, beggars and baales would ride. The only time the PDP will die, will be when the sun sets in the east and rises in the west and when the rivers of the earth all run dry. |
Keneking:You are the archetypal APC supporter. Uncivil, violent, misanthropic, malicious, mannerless, delusional, undiplomatic, among other dangerous vices. |
Aufbauh:When Ben Murray Bruce releases a comment you find offensive to the administration of PMB, I hope you will show you are above hypocrisy. |
Whynotthetruth:Iran has vowed to take back its share of the markets and plans to boost production by 1million barrels a day China's(our major investor) GDP has started falling, and so have reduced their foreign investments. But still our VP is promising free bread and tea for all children Imagine hiring a Chinese citizen to run Japan's national bank. That is the equivalent of Col. Hammed Ali's appointment as the new customs boss. The customs will so deal with him. He will be the first casualty of TeamBuhari. |
I seriously doubt that such action would be undertaken by the President. But if found to be true, I commend the President for this laudable step, afterall religion is now seen as unethical and a distraction from governance, in this new dispensation. Just yesterday, the VPhouseboy, was seen running his mouth, to the detriment of the President, on the issue of free meals for all children. This is a nice way to teach that usurper, about position and privileges. How there, he offer press statements, without seeking approval from the President first. But the President shouldn't stop here, he should also round up the pastors and send them to the EFCC and DSS for charges to be filed against them for Financial impropriety and possession of weapons of war. Please Mr President, keep up the good work. We are enjoying your type of 100 days dividends of CHANGE democracy. |
The statement by the spokesman for the government, Femi Adesina only ended up adding salt to injury. It was a big slap on the faces of easterners. This is a government which is solely based on nepotism and bias, and that is clear for all to see. Also, the reformation and restructuring programme undertaken by the GEJ administration is the reason the country's institutions and economy is still standing, despite the Global economic meltdown. But this cannot hold for long, especially with the new administration's lackadaisical approach to governance, their uncreative ability to continue on the laudable programmes of the last administration, and the recent events in the globe. If care is not taken, we will be facing the worst economic collapse since the days of SAP. |
Gbawe:She didn't undermine the judicial process. She only indirectly accused them of questionable security crimes against the state. Was anyone brought up on charges in relation to her statements, NO. And besides what is the difference between her unguided statements and the day to day unguarded allegations being made by the Edo state Govenor, the DSS and the EFCC. Also your take on the IRAQI gaffe by the CIA, is of more paramount importance than that made of agencies within a state. Just browse on it, and you will understand my angle. |
Coming from the same sources that predicted Fashola as chief of staff, Amaechi/ Ogbonnaya Onu as SGF. At the end of the day a Northerner will get the portfolio. You seers never learn |
It's no secret that the present government in India is a known lackey of the Obama, Democrat government. Shortly after Prime minister Modi's victory at the polls, Obama paid him a personal congratulatory visit. This supposed information from the high commissioner is just a sister government arrangement. Besides, the high commissioner is out of line, in making libelous statements without backing them with substantial evidence. I'm sure very soon an unscrupulous Indian oil firm will get a mouthwatering, sumptuous oil contract. |
Gbawe:She made a callous and inappropriate statement based on the information made available to her. How, does that justify the sort of public backlash that has been dished out to her. Did the aggrieved party sue her for libel and slander, No. In 2001/2002, the head of the CIA, told the then President of the US, that the Saddam Hussein government was in possession of weapons of mass destruction. The US invaded Iraq on that knowledge, and after the dust had settled, found this assertion to be false. This things happen everywhere, so Ogar's gaffe wasn't the first. And besides, she was not a judge or jury, but only made her opinions known to people. The aggrieved have started theirs too, no one is talking. |
powerfulsettingz:And your IQ is supposedly higher. I seriously doubt that. |
The endpoint of this government, will be worse than the Holocaust, if care is not taken. No information was given on the reason behind her retirement. This is the change they promised us. Nepotism, favoritism, bias and ethnicity is now the order of the day. |
jjlala:Rebekkah Brooks of the infamous phone hacking scandal in the UK, was forced to step down from her job as CEO in 2011. Yesterday, she was rehired as the CEO of Rupert Murdoch's Newcorp. If this news piece is true, expect her comeback once this Vindictive, shenanigans government is ousted. |
