ba7man:The smaller the better. With the amount of blowback- the global recession coupled with the currency wars about to begin- the nation is about to receive, it would be safe to be a small party. I wouldn't wish to be in your shoes, a year or two from now. You guys will be hunted from Alaska to Timbuktu. |
He should just reverse the sale and give it to his sponsors. But the funny thing is that NITEL is not a viable company. Haven't they ever heard of MTN, or Etisalat. Good luck to whoever gets stuck with the outdated pile of scrap called NITEL |
The beneficiaries of all this hire and fire are those who will be hired and fired. Those hired today will still be fired, irrespective of their so called vast expertise, when power switches hands once more in 2019. Anyway congrats to the lucky few who were hired. They should raise a glass for the good fortune they have come into. And most importantly, they should save for the rainy days ahead, which might be next year or the year after. Because, honestly, I don't see this government going the full stretch |
Boko Haram has always been a sectionally run organisation, even the ex-president mentioned it on his media chat programme. We all just failed to listen |
All speculation, no concrete facts yet. Just because x,y and z were not at his book launch, doesn't mean he is out in the cold. Though I would relish a split of APC Lagos, into seperate factions. I do believe we shouldn't jump for joy just yet. Mediations and horse trading can settle any rift early in the morning, but would lose its strength in the evening. We should wait till it's evening before counting our chickens. |
joseph1832:Mandela was arrested and convicted in 1962, for sabotage and attempting to overthrow the state through violent acts. The acts, in question involve: blowing up military installations, power plants, telephone lines and transport links: with minimum casualties. He was not imprisoned for life for leading a campaign against apartheid. Such acts got him short sentences. It was only when, due to frustration, he resorted to extreme measures, that he was locked up indefinitely. Learn to research appropriately, before commenting. I don't want to put you in the class of lazy, ignoble mouthpieces. |
persius555:I hope you are not part of the huge percentage of adults who can not read and write, according to the NBS statistics. You didn't see where I put the words" TO THIS BLIND PSYCHO,". Which indicates I was referring to the opinion of the APC chieftain. |
There is no point in trying to slow down or stop a mad bull. You simply do as the Matadors of Spanish bull fighting do. You allow the bull to tire out, after exerting and expending its energy. The female govenor is a ticking time bomb and should be allowed to blow up as at when due. The good thing is that the splinters will be scattered in all directions of the APC radius. But, on the other hand,to be fair, i do believe the NEC has the right to appoint an audit firm to carry out an effective foresenic accounting of the said companies; with the consent of a FINANCE MINISTER, who would be its head; which is not what the four man committee is. And also this act would help put to rest the allegations of financial impropriety. Also the two firms charged with this responsibility are known to both the PDP and APC, and so cuts out any opinion of bias. So we should allow them carry on. It's to me, a step in the right direction |
Right now, due to the inexperienced authoritarian orwellian government we have in place, just being a supporter, not to mention being a member can get you lynched- in the media of course. All the momentous achievements recorded by the PDP have been washed away by the spin crowd, and replaced with, an overkill of its flaws, defects and mistakes. So much so that a worthy representative like Akpabio is now wrongly adjudged a common thief and criminal. That is where you and I come in. Our job as citizens of the state, is to make them remember. If we don't, then we stand the risk of allowing into existence, the Big brother government of APC, who intend to not only steal trillions, but even go as far as stealing our ideas and thoughts. The time to act is now, and no other. The people must remember |
SweetSophia:Wait, are Nigerians so dumb. Were in the thread did he lay the blame at the doorstep of the ex-president. The major catalyst for the financial exodus is simply CAPITAL FLIGHT. I don't want to believe there is not one commentator on the APC team that has an economic background. This is really sad. I am beyond flabbergasted at the IQ deficiency of APC nairalanders. I am speechless, simply speechless. |
joseph1832:I don't care about abstraction. Please state categorically the charge brought up against him by the south African state. |
joseph1832:What was Mandela tried and sentenced for. |
uniklinkum:Your post made me review your past comments. And from that review, I was able to deduce that your educational background is nothing to write home about. You failed, time after time to properly construct a sentence. Clarity was poor, while articulation was lacking. Please enrol in a night class, because truth be said, you really need it. |
joseph1832:Mandela was a convicted terrorist. Yet you source the web for his quotes. The message is the crux of the matter, not the orator. |
From the words of this islamist totalitarian, we can denote what the intention of the PMB led government is for our nascent democracy. She mentioned two autocratic mad kings: Murtala and Abacha. To this blind psycho, the government of Abacha was a success and his death made him a martyr. This woman is so deluded she can't remember that her co-conspirators were actually at parallel lines with her during that administration. And also no one is going to kill a president who is already failing and is clearly confused. His detractors only need for him to self destruct and then grab what is left from the implosion. Did Al Asisi kill morsi at the onset of that illfated regime. He simply waited till it was apparent the people were fed up with their despotic style of governance. Let her and her urchins keep on dreaming. PDP don't need to chase the mountain, the mountain will eventually come to them |
The ideology and message of PDP was contained in the words said by Bode George in an interview on Channels TV. "The PDP adopts and proposes the Federal character, not for protocol alone, but to ensure a wide spread of government representation, so that every tribe no matter how small, will be duly represented, and not feel left out, in the making of decisions". As long as the PDP still abides by this doctrine. Theirs is the world and everything in it. And what is more, they will be champions till thy kingdom come. |
Revolution:Like father, like son, both of them are finished when it comes to Nigerian politics. Donald had a good run, but unfortunately pitched his tent with the LOSER squad. As for the erstwhile General, his days are numbered. OBJ's strength laid in his ability to be silent. But ever since he started mouthing off, he has being going downhill. Forget about a OBJ comeback, the old General has seen his last sunrise when it comes to politics, and so too, anyone who spars with him |
MadCow1:Fool, he is meeting his allies. Everything GEJ has done since his exit from office has to been to make PMB's tenure a disaster. Just look at his foreign visits since his exit: London, Parts of Europe, Kenya. All his stops have been at the doorsteps of his allies. Unlike your novice of a messiah, GEJ does not reveal his contacts. Just watch how your beloved General will be brought down at the end |
brixton:Now, this is what a president looks like. For those who believe the willy wonka assertion that he is not recognised globally, I hope you have seen the revelation. This is the man who fought the old order and began their inevitable rapture. |
And you are in charge of inventory, right. If PMB could find one true corrupt individual, you think he wouldn't make a public spectacle of the individual. Your party is so pathetic |
The last time someone said something as idiotic as this, we woke up with a mishmash SAP policy. I wonder what gift Buhari will leave us with this time. |
Abugab:Hitler thought the same Napoleon thought likewise PMB thinks along the same line The fact is that a smart leader(GEJ) can only do a little, one day at a time |
walexzee11:I rather side with smart meticulous usurpers than hang with hotblooded brainwashed zombies |
Abugab:Rome was not built in a day. But it took one silly decision to start its destruction. Those who begin a revolution are never the ones who finish it. This so called anti -Corruption campaign will only end in the destruction of your beloved party Your party believes they can control the tempo of the campaigns they begin. In this they are completely wrong. Antecedents like this have a way of creating a mind of their own. And when they do, they always end up destroying their operators. This path will only end in blood and tears for your messiah. And the funny thing is that those who you are after will end up being the biggest beneficiaries. |
Fool, you will march and shout and PMB will applaud you for your bravery. He will then task you to help him bludgeon those he has marked as the "CORRUPT". But after all the party and the wine and the music has stopped, guess who will be the first one to lose his head. It won't be Tinubu or Lai Mohammed or Amaechi. No, on the contrary they will keep their heads for a little longer. It will be you. You and the army of blind gluttons that march with you. Morsi of the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt is still alive. But hundreds of those who marched and chanted his name are already SIX feet under. Be wise |
yes, please fire her. The same group claimed Olisa Metuh was axed by the PDP NWC. But later retraced their steps and claimed it was actually the ward of Olisa Metuh that suspended him. Let the sponsors of this group keep on meddling in PDP matters, they won't know when several groups in their own camp dig a hole for them. |
I so much love the system being applied by this female govenor. No matter how ridiculous his objective is, he will still go against the odds. All he has to do is deflect attention from his aim to someone else by talking absolute balderdash. In no part of his excuse to fleece his state did he state categorically what he intends to use the loan for. He is the smartest kleptomaniac in APC. If he keeps applying the moronically effect he might end up with a lighter sentence than the other members of PMB and the 419 squad |
You guys are speaking too soon. Mr Lara Oshiomole will soon utilise the periodic table and the Pythagoras theorem to explain how madam NOI manipulated the instruments used by the Chinese bank to embezzle trillions of gold nuggets, diamonds and gems. Just you wait and see. |
