What has Adam done ? He and eve ate ordinary apple and you keep talking about the two as if many people had not done much worse. As far as I am concerned the concept called original sin is an hypothesis of the weak people to put blames of their wrong doings on the shoulder of Adam and Eve. Your sin is your sin and you will be held accountable for it on the day of judgement.
People even go the extent of claiming that a newly born baby has sinned. What does a newly born baby know. If you inherit Adam sin then nothing stopping you from inheriting that your grandfather that did juju money ....and many of your ancestors Oduduwa, Lamurudu ...and Oranmiyan.

I laugh in English when I read about this ugly headline this morning. I wonder in my mind for how long this new invention called subsidy which has become a caricature and has been become a viable tool to politician as a mean of siphoning huge amount of money from the public funds in the oil sector is going to stop. Subsidy has become virus and bacteria in the veins of our economy and need to be nip in the bud.
Not that government had not been subsidizing fuel price for the masses to be able to afford from the onset but the subsidy issue took a new dimension when the old man in Ota (OBJ) got into power. Why did I start from this point (1999) is that corruption perpetrated by the government of OBJ and his prodigious son far outweigh the corruptions of all the other prior government put together. As worse as Abacha was he met petrol price at 11 naira and left it at 20 naira per litre (That is not excuse for Abachas behavior anyway) .
When OBJ became president Nigeria had it so good. The crude oil price increase from 22 dollar per barrel to 150 dollar per barrel. As if that is not enough our quota at OPEC was also increased from 1.6 million barrel to 2.5million barrels per day. With this huge quota and price (revenue) we are supposed to enjoy this product more locally. But instead what do we have more embezzlement at an alarming rate. OBJ took the price from 20 naira per litre to 75 naira per litre A situation that has made everybody a slave, especially we the entrepreneur. When you consider the amount of money used to buy petrol or diesel in a month, you will agree with me that all the money are going back to government pocket.
I think the way government is attributing their corrupt ways to subsidy, people are going to revolt soon. Enough is enough.

Hey guys I just look at my country and array of problems to be solved. Just like economists, let solve the pressing ones i.e Unemployment and shortage of guys with good doe to marry. I decided to choose the two because they are interwoven. If guys have good jobs, there will be more marriages simple.
The solution is that Government should sack all women from both public and private sectors. That will make more jobs available for guys and they will take good care of their loving wives when they eventually married . This way we can avoid over concentration of money in some families and their will be money for all to spend.Also women can concentrate on taking care of their families and cooking of good soup like Ewedu, Gbegiri, Aphan, Edikhaiko,Ila Alasepo ......And good food like Ikokore, Amala and Indomie Babalala

@prof e.o.o I am surprised that you said one can build an earthquake resistant building. Then secondly fluidity property of an earthquake is what keeps earth going. If that fluidity property should be lost I and you will be dead. If you read your gospel very , there is no where they said earthquake had not been occuring in the past. It is only said that the number of earthquake will increase toward the endtime. And that is a sign that earth is ageing.

A Jehovah witness once came to my room then at University of Ibadan (UI). As usual they (The Jehovah witness always use the current event or issue to postulate their hypothesis. Then an earthquake just occurred and it killed about 300 people. His own arguments were that the earthquake was bad and that since God allowed such to happen, then Satan was in control of the world. And to be on the safe side you need to run Jesus for safety.

It baffles my mind that contrary to how it is outside the African continent; every occurrence is usually hijacked as an opportunity to canvass for religion in Nigeria. Having welcomed the Man I started sharing knowledge with him on why the earthquake may not be considered totally bad and why it has no religious connotation.
We are all walking everyday on the outside, flat part of the earth called lithosphere. Have you ever wondered why is it that though the earth is rotating and revolving on its axis yet we never have a situation that the lithosphere has never been turned upside down? And in that case there will be collapse of both living and non-living things.

My People Perish Due to Lack of Knowledge
What motivate to me to write this post is born out of the fact that human brain should be made to think, reason and to arrive at logical conclusion. The problem of most people in Nigeria is that they are intellectually lazy. They rely on one man to interpret scriptures for them and at the end of service they close the books till the following weekend revving in the promises of the so called man of God. The brain processor should be made to think and the RAM to work to their full capacity.
The damage imported religions have done to my people cannot be underestimated. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying that people should not be religious but when the religion you practice does not have positive effect on you and the society, should we not reexamine our thoughts and check whether we are actually doing what is right.
First and foremost we are made to believe that our forefathers are Idolater and as a result they are all bound to enter hell fire. Is there any evidence to confirm that 100% of the people that existed before foreign religions are idol worshipers? This to me is selfishness; they believe so far they enter heaven, no other person matters. Christianity is even funny, they said you cannot enter heaven except you are a born again i.e. accept Jesus as your lord and savior. This concept raise some questions, 1 what about those that died before Jesus came into the world 2. Is Jesus a universal God.3? What about those that died before Islam and Christianity came to Nigeria? It needs to be stressed that it is not Islam or Christianity that introduce concept of Universal God in Nigeria. Yorubas have had word like Olorun , Eledumare and Ibos have word like Chukwu long before Islam and Christianity came to Nigeria. The name Orunmila means Olorun lo mo eni to ma la i.e. only God knows who will be successful in the hereafter. The success in this case is not material things but ultimate entering of heaven. This means they believe in the day of Judgment.
The bulk stories in the bible are the stories of Israelite. When they talk about Israel or Israelite today the first thing that come to the mind of an average Nigerian is Christianity but in Israel up till today , 77% of the populace are Jewish, 20% Muslims and 2% Christians. Majority of those 2% Christians are Immigrant (Wikipedia). Jewish or Judaism is far from Christianity in their mode of worship cause they do ablution and they also pray bowing down. This is a country where Jesus was born, if actually what Christians in Nigeria are talking about is true, by proximity factor we have more Christians in Isreal than in any part of Africa.

What we have are greedy pastors and greedy followers .The religion that was imported to Nigeria has now been repackaged and now being exported to the missionaries putting ingredient like miracle(JUJU) and cheap visa to heavens as if they pastors are the manufacturers of heaven tickets.
Money is the root of all evils. Pastor are greedier than Babalawos , if you make a salary of 100,000 in a month you will be paying tithe of 10,000 in a month . Even if you want to make sacrifice, will you be using 10,000 naira to make sacrifice every month. What will you use as the sacrifice ingredient that will make it 10, 000 ( turkey , chicken ?) even if it is up to the amount will it be every month you’ll be making sacrifice.
And they will tell you Owo ni keke iyinrere i.e Money is the vehicle of religion. Pastors like entrepreneurs want to expand their businesses. He knows, the more investment, the more the congregation hence the more money that accrue to his purse. The problem about their followers is that their brain is Pentium 1 and their RAM IS 32MB while those of pastors are CORE 5 with RAM of more than 6 GIG. No matter how much one tries to explain the concept to them they will not understand, they have been bounded to the shackles of religious Dogmatism.
