European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Vs Everton [2 - 2] On Saturday 9th Jan by HNIC(m): 7:37pm On Jan 09, 2010
Rubbish conditions
We were outplayed by the Merceysiders
But we fought hard to grab a point from the duel
What are the haterz talking about?
It was 5 minutes of injury time and it became 6 because of the injuries.
At least you will never hear AW suggest the ref should add more time till Arsenal scores tongue
Check the records haterz
Rozzi's goal was in the 92nd minute.
The minimum added these days is usually 3 minutes

This was mad funny grin
Culled from the net

*The Arsenal players are at the training ground waiting for Arsene to arrive*

Cesc: Cold this morning.

Samir: It sure is, I don't know how we are going to train, the grass is covered in snow.

Cesc: Well atleast Theo is enjoying it.

*They look over to see Theo rolling around in the snow*

Cesc: You OK Theo?

Theo: Snow snow snow!

Aaron: Best get up Theo, Arsene should be here any minute.

*Just then, Arsene arrives*

Arsene: Morning everyone!

Everyone: Morning Arsene!

Arsene: Is this everyone? Where's Andrey, Denilson and everyone.

Cesc: I think they are snowed in.

Arsene: Hmmmmm, we are going to be short of people today, I was going to have a 5 aside tournamount. Theo, could you please get up.

*Theo is not listening, he is making a snow angel*

Arsene: Theo!

Theo: Look! I made a snow angel!

Arsene: Stop it!

*Arsene walks over to Theo's snow angel and kicks it. Theo's face drops*

Theo: You killed him!

Arsene: OK people, I have an idea of how we can have a training game. I want you all to build a snowman.

Cesc: A snowman? Why Arsene?

Arsene: You can play against them. OK build now!

*20 minutes later and the players have all built a snowman*

Arsene: Very good, now I want you to, Theo?

Theo: Yes?

Arsene: What have you done there?

*Theo looks confused*

Theo: I built a snowman.

Arsene: It's just a small pile of snow.

Theo: It's my snowman.

*Arsene kicks down Theo's pile of snow*

Arsene: BUILD IT AGAIN! I WANT A PROPER SNOWMAN, WITH EYES, ARMS AND EVERYTHING! Look at Samir's!

*Samir has built a grand snowman, with a scarf, arms, face and glasses*

Arsene: Now THATS'S a snowman

*Theo starts to sob*

Arsene: Don't cry! Just rebuild! I'm going to stand here and watch you till you do it. Everyone else, you can't start playing against them.

*Theo slowly rolls snow on the ground, he is crying*

Arsene: There's no point in crying! Just build the damn thing!

*Suddenly a snowball hits Arsene on the back of the head*

Arsene: Who was that!?

*Everyone looks innocent, Samir is giggling*

Arsene: Samir! Was that you!?

Samir: No, it was, erm, it was Theo!

*Arsene turns to stare at Theo. Theo is still building his snowman*

Theo: What?

Arsene: THEO! YOU DO NOT THROW SNOWBALLS AT ME!

Theo: I, I didn't!

Arsene: Samir said you did!

Theo: He's lying!

*Theo starts to cry*

Arsene: No Theo, you are lying. Do laps around the pitch, stupid boy.

Theo: But it wasn't me.

Arsene: SILENCE! Now run!

*Theo is in tears as he runs around the pitch*

Arsene: OK, how is everyone else doing?

Cesc: We are doing great, the snowmen are easy to get round.

Arsene: Very good, now I would like you all to take penalties against the snowman in goal.

*Suddenly a snowball hits Arsene*

Arsene: Who was that!?

*Samir is giggling*

Arsene: Something funny Samir? Did you throw it?

Samir: No, it was Theo.

*Theo is far away in the distance*

Arsene: Must have been a mighty throw. Damn the boy! THEO! THEO!

*In the distance Theo is smiling and waves back*

Arsene: You are in trouble now Theo!

*Theo can't hear him and runs back towards them*

Theo: Can I come back to play now!?

Arsene: Theo, you are going to clear up all this snow as punishment.

Theo: What!? But that will take forever.

*3 more snowballs hit Arsene on the back of the head*

Arsene: THEO! STOP IT!

*Theo is standing infront of him, he watches as the others throw snowballs at Arsene*

Theo: What!? It's not me!

Arsene: Yes it is!

*Cesc and Samir put snow in Arsene's hood and push the hood on his head*

Arsene: Theo, this coat is expensive!

Theo: It's them! Look behind you!

*Samir urinates into some snow and gathers it up. He goes up behind Arsene and pushes the snow into his face*

Arsene: THEO! YOU DISGUSTING BOY!!!

The Media frenzy continues

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=721765&sec=transfers&cc=3888

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering a swoop for 6' 6" Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traore to bolster his injury-hit forward line.

Wenger is without Dutch ace Robin Van Persie and Danish forward Nicklas Bendtner and has all but admitted he is on the hunt for a target man in the January transfer window.

Traore fits the bill and the 19-year-old CFR Cluj striker has already spoken about a potential "dream move" to the Emirates Stadium.

Traore said: "It is sensational to hear Wenger is watching me. I could be a success in England. Even though I am still young, I have a lot of experience and a lot of ambition. Wherever I go it will be hard at first, but I'm sure I would settle in."

"It would be a dream for me to get to play on a team so great. I have a chance there because Arsene Wenger relies heavily on young players.

"There is great pressure on me now because I am being linked with big European clubs, but this is my ambition.

"The Ivory Coast coach has already told me I will get my chance with the national team, but my chances of that happening would certainly increase if I was to join a big team like Arsenal."

For all those clamouring for PV to return, have u been watching him lately?
How many games has he played this season?
Can Paddy keep up with the frightening pace of the EPL? (Forget what AW is saying)
Paddy is one of my favourite Arsenal players of all time
In fact, when you talk about a box to box midfielder, forget all the pretenders today, PV was the best
BUT. . . . . . . . .
I will hate for my hero to come back and STRUGGLE
I will also hate to see him being benched.
I will rather he stays at Inter or return to France
If he goes to Kuwait Citeh, best wishes to him though

As per the striker issue,
I think AW will BUY
That seems the only thing he talks about these days grin
RVP and NIC were his main target men this season and both are out injured
with Nic's injury taking so so long to heal
Though I am sure, we may all be surprised by his choice grin

Tonight's match must not be postponed oooh.
Hopefully, we should bag the 3 points and move ahead of the Scummies

Breaking News!!

Reliable information reaching the news service of nairaland.com indicate that Sharon’s prolonged absence from the realm after the one goal demolition suffered at the hands of Leeds Utd is NOT as a result of lily livered cowardice or shamefaced navel gazing, but due to the economic vagaries of the current times.

As a result of previous infractions and delays in payment remittances, Sharon has been unceremoniously cut off from the internet by his service providers pending the receipt of payment for services already used. I am hereby starting a ‘Save Sharon 2010’ fund on behalf of our egotistical, argumentative yet amusing member. Please make your donations payable to Debosky and I will do my best to get him off the hook.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by HNIC(m): 4:35pm On Jan 04, 2010
I think Wenger will buy!
He may have taken a gamble not to buy if Bendtner had been fit and putting in the goals.
He knows Eduardo is still not 100%.
Vela and Theo have not been convincing upfront either
He knows it and feels it, that this may be Arsenal's best chance since 07/08 to win the league
11 points gap may be reduced to just 1 in a few days.
The chavs haven't been magnificent
The Scummies sunk to a new low yesterday, losing to Leeds.
Liverpool are more or less out of it.
Spuds, Citeh.Villa and co are just looking to be in 4th position
AW can be stubborn but I don't think he's daft.
It's his best chance and not buying would simply be foolish.
Let's wait and see!

Welbeck's 35 yards shot was much better and i doubt it was hailed by the English media like HNIC is ejecting. grin grin

I heard the same thing about Kieran Gibbs until he got turned over.
Ramsey at best is mediocre.[/quote]ha ha ha

There's only one SONG

and really, there's only one RAMSEY.

Go and take a look at that goal again.

i stood up clapping for about 3 minutes

If it had been Rooney, Defoe or Young that scored that,

The English tabloids would have brought out stats/analysis comparing them with PELE grin
