Guy yr story funny o! Mine is not exackly kicking problem. It was on a Monday afternoon. We went to top the engine oil in our car. After topping and paying the salesman, we set out for work. Holyshit, we were close to Area 1 when the engine oil began showing us how black and wicked it could be. The smoke from the exhaust pipe came out in clouds and marred eye vision. All we could see was thick black smoke diffusing to all four cardinals. Everdriver on the road started winding their glasses up with a grin on their faces. Lol. Ppl stared at us in a funny suspicious way and, despite the heavy traffic jam, people manoeuvred their way from our back to the next chain of cars. It was so embarrassing! I just shielded my face with the novel that, Measuring Time by Helon Habila, from the piercing arrows of angry stares of the roadusers. We had to find a place to park before solving the problem, but before then we'd received some minial insults. It was one life time experience, u know. Seeing all those Range Rovers, Landcruisers, And many other beautiful cars. Whew! I hate Mondays!

A 35-year-old Kenyan man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for raping a cow.
Jackson Karuga is said to have allegedly engaged in the act with his neighbor’s cow.
Issuing the ruling in a court in the central part of Kenya, Principal Magistrate Wendy Micheni Kagendo said the evidence adduced by five witnesses, including a veterinary officer, was direct and concrete.
The cow’s owner, Ann Wanjiru, told the court that on the day she had gone to milk her cow at 5:00 when she saw a pair of trousers at the shed’s entrance. She later saw Karuga busy in the act, though he did not see her.
Wanjiru said she left the scene and went to alert neighbors who caught Karuga with his pants down.
In mitigation, Karuga said his bachelorhood forced him to commit the offence. He added that he was living under stress since his father passed away last year and that he could not afford to marry.
Karuga further claimed that he was providing school fees for his siblings and taking care of his ailing mother.
However, the magistrate dismissed his mitigation saying that the fact that he was not married did not mean he would have married the cow, and that it was not reason enough for him to resort to bestiality.
She condemned the act saying bestiality cases are rampant in the region and a deterrent is needed. The magistrate further said the cases of bestiality are a sign of moral decay in the society and the sentence would serve as deterrent to others with similar plans.

The Police in Kenya said Tuesday said they were battling to contain a new trend of commercial sex tourism that targets young boys in the coastal towns of the country .
The reports monitored from a local radio station, quoted Police as saying the trend had caused the rise in the sale pampers in the region due to the rising health problems among boys indulging in the act.
Malindi sub county Deputy Police Commissioner, Joshua Nkanatha told Kenya local radio that boys from poor families were being lured into the trade by rich male tourists.
The Police official said the situation had lead to an increase in number of cases of HIV/AIDS spread in the area.
“A survey we conducted shows that boys engaging in sexual activities with male tourists are buying pampers because they can no longer hold their stool,“ Nkanatha said.
Nkanatha, who spoke during a Public Baraza at HGM primary school, Malindi said “male prostitution had become high in Malindi and contributing to increased cases of HIV and AIDS.
He urged educated and concerned members of the public to take up the responsibility of enlightening the youths about the health risks of engaging in the vice.
Malindai is a resort town on the outskirt of Nairobi, the Kenyan Capital which attracts Tourists from within and outside Africa.

The comedian and host of popular Teju Babyface show shared a quick but hilarious story with his fans. He narrated the story thus:

After allowing her dad sleep with her for about 9 months out of fear, she finally broke her silence:
“At the age of 16, I had not slept with any boy or man, but my father returned from Spain last December and started having sex with me.”

This 17-year-old female student of Takoradi Senior High School revealed in an interview that her biological father broke her virginity and has been having sexual intercourse with her for the past nine months, at his Adiembra residence near Sekondi.
According to the girl, her father who was sojourning in Spain returned to Ghana December last year and that was when it all started.
The girl [names withheld] said her parents were divorced and her father was the one taking care of her so he threatened to stop supporting her if she told anybody.
She also revealed that her father stopped her from going to church in fear that she might inform some of the church leaders of what he had been doing to her.
The girl said that on Friday August 23, 2013, after she had returned from school her father demanded to made love with her but she refused and he gathered all her belongings including school uniforms, text and exercise books and set them ablaze.
“After that he still wanted to made love with me so I run away to a neighbour’s house and it was there that I broke the news to some of the residents", he added.
Personnel of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service have arrested the father and placed him in custody pending further investigations.

I know some ppl here will start talking rubbish things. The main thing is to deviate their minds and hearts away from brutality and unnecessary killings to hardwork and lasting peace. Starting a job will even make them see life in a whole new perspective and come to appreciate the benefits of peace. It's another strategy to combat the security challenges facing this country.
And as for those saying that our graduates are yet to be employed, you don't expect a graduate to go for a job like this. The job offered to the ex-militants does not require great technicality as graduate jobs do.
However, the government is faulty in its part not to provide enough jobs for our graduates. This will be solved when we've an administration that takes education, youth empowerment and employment very seriously. But like I said earlier, offering jobs to the ex-militants is a welcome idea as it is also a way of preserving peace.

@topic. I support the idea, but Nigeria has thousands of 'beautiful minds' that have invented many things that if put on a large scale is capable of saving this country of many debts. The thing's jst that Nigerian leaders don't believe that if one does nt finish d uni, one ain't capable of doin sth great. Hence, these gifted ppl are discouraged. It's good to start exporting but into which sector will the money be put? I knw that there are some of such 'beautiful minds' even here on Nairaland that knw what I'm talking about first-hand.
