Anyway, anyone who is going for passport submission should go with package transmission fee to avoid any issues.

Sir, you got it wrong. The package transmission fee you're talking about is not newly introduced, and not everyone will pay the fee.

Applicants who submit their passport or travel documents at the same VFS location where they initially provided biometrics will not pay the package transmission fees. Note that you will be charged the transmission fee if you submit your passport to a different VFS location.

For example, if you provided your biometrics at VFS Lagos and submitted your passport at the Lagos VFS location after visa approval, you won't pay the package transmission fee, but you will be charged if you take it to Abuja or any other VFS location outside Lagos.

My brother go to VFS website you will see all these there,I did my biometric in Lagos 2017, I was asked to pay the transmission fee when I wanted to submit my passport yesterday,all this your argument is no longer working,go and read new rule on passport submission online,it does not affect first timer,but subsequent one you will pay,pls let get right information before advising people.

I submitted my passport on the 7th of November at the Lagos vfs for stamping and till now no collection mail. I’ve sent them mails, calls and everything and nothing has happened. I even went to the vfs office in to check if it has been returned back but they said it hasn’t been returned. I really don’t know what to do anymore.

Right from beginning of your application. you will be ask if you need an accommodation,if your answer is No,then you provide them the address of where you will be staying,that one is not a crime,but you can’t run away from accommodation giving to you after claiming not to have a place to stay.

I have warned many here and will continue to warn to avoid regrets, do not waste your funds coming to canada with visit visa with the intention of getting a job and settling. Do not waste your funds .it’s difficult to get jobs even for PR holders and students It is difficult. Visitors have no chance. I live here and I am advising you. Even before you make that move coming with student visa , think twice. Except if your plans is to come and study and go back home . Only 30% of students get PR after studies . It is even tougher now. No CEC draws, EE draws stood at 500 Crs , 2years course + 2 years working experience and ielts 9 bands will be around 480 Crs , many PGWP holders have just few months left expiry with no chance of getting ITA as we speak. Canadian government make things difficult for students to transit to PR . They rather waste their funds on asylum seekers who cooked up lies to get easy stay without breaking a sweat, whereas those who have spent over 60k cad studying are left to waiting for a miracle ! The best way to get here is through PR ( express entry) it is not easy but it is the best way for those who are extremely brilliant young and have good credentials with work experience.

I read about people comments here,it really amazed me,to convert visit visa to work visa is difficult,to go as student is problem,to get lmia problem,to even claim asylum is double wahala,the only way now is to go through PR.Nigerians why are we making things difficulty for ourselves? Many people forgotten that we all come from different background,some will spend 6months in Canada,they will tell you it's difficult to get job after spending years in Nigeria without getting job,even some has never travel out of Nigeria telling you what is going on in Canada,now people should spend almost 30k Canadian dollar to study and come back to Nigeria to resume job that is not there! How many graduate in Nigeria today is getting 500k a month in this country?How many parents can pay school fees abroad with this present situation.This lmia you are talking about why are the Indian getting it?why is it only Nigerian getting problem at the point of entry?It's because we are enemies of ourselves,Indian are the most fraudulent people,still they don't have issues with them.My advice is this,if anyone ask how to convert visit to work give him/her available options and let them try their luck, don't discourage people.Basically this forum was launched to educate people on how to go about their application, documents to use,time frame for approval and testimonies from people for others to learn.Stop discouraging people, and stop fighting, nothing is impossible in the eye of God.Many got there and made it through visit visa,many did with student visa and also with PR.Let always be our brothers keepers!!!

This is strange,as a matter of urgency send a mail and Webform to primary office and secondary office processing your application,which is Lagos and London now and explain to them that you did not ask for withdrawal of your application and neither did anyone did on your behalf. Good luck!

Although no Visa details on his tracker just like some people has said but on application status, it says the Final decision has been taken and Visa has been approved.

I have sent the passport today via DHL i cannot wait and do not expect any contrary news.

Like I said, not everyone is asked to show proof back home, it depends on the CBSA Officer and your purpose of visit.

Ok, good for you. I know a lot of people they ask. So, my point is don't rule out the possibility they will ask. I also know someone they sent back (deported) because he couldn't explain how the money he claimed he had is not there and he couldn't logically defend it. Everyone should get prepared in case they ask.

You know lots people that this happened to: I said maybe they are not consistent,if my application takes 2years to be approved,you don't expect same amount to be there after 2years and nobody can Depot you because of that,all that matters is to answer questions ask you deligently
