Due to the glaring misrule,wanton wastage of national resources and unrepentant abuse of political power by the PDP since 1999, I am very motivated for change. So I have been thinking.........Buhari\Fashola is a formidable combo both in terms of political weight and progressive governance. However,when news got out that APC was considering fielding GMB/BRF in 2015, it was met with online disapproval from some quarters, majorly PDP supporters, a few self-professed Christians and some uninformed Nigerians. In the Spirit of National Interest and all-participatory politics, I came up with this suggestions for (1) Generally accepted and sentiment-free APC flagbearers and (2) A competent Cabinet if APC emerge victorious at the Presidential polls in 2015. HERE WE GO : President/V.P : Buhari/Oby Ezekwesili: I believe with this pairing,the religious bigots will have nothing to say anymore about Buhari islamising Nigeria as Oby is a Christian and married to a Pastor. I also believe this would enable the APC divide GEJ votes in the South East. What are the pros and cons? Will such move drastically reduce the votes APC would have gotten in the South West if Fashola was Buhari's running mate ? (2) Key Positions if APC becomes. the. central government 1. Babatunde Raji Fashola : Minister of Petroleum. 2. Pat Utomi : Minister of Finance . 3. Nda-Isaiah: Minister of Information. 4. Rotimi Amaechi : Minister of Niger Delta Affairs. 5.Festus Keyamo : Attorney-general of the Federation. Do you think those nominated above are capable of rescuing and resuscitating this ailing country that has been molested mercilesslly by the ruling class? Let's have your endorsement, disagreement, suggestions/additions. Please no name-calling, derailing or partisanship. Nigeria is our country and if we become the greatest country on earth,it is to our benefit. Let's put National Upliftment above selfish interests this once..........at least on this thread.
