zitee14:I have no idea about that one, let's see as things unfold in coming weeks |
Donbern:I'm sure it will follow immediately or a week after, the aviation minister already tweeted that last week. |
Let's be hopeful tomorrow they will start issuing visas
|
nnamdi16:My brother leave them alone, they think UAE is about writing grammar and long epistles, we've tried our best to enlighten people and no one will force you not to apply for a visa, after all na their money. One person said this thread is not serving its essence and should be closed, but I disagree. People coming here for tourism will still benefit from this thread, do anything that rocks your boat, we will still be here to still provide them the answers to any of their questions whenever they land in UAE. |
justi4jesu:It's like you have a company in UAE that will give them jobs abi? How many people have given testimonies to the vacancy posts you've been displaying on here? What we are saying is UAE is not what it's used to be 4,5 years ago and people should look for better options if they have to travel. You said people who are not enjoying UAE should move back home, Really?.. A dude who had sold all he had back home and have nothing to return back to will definitely not be able to turn back the hands of time. Let's be careful of the information we pass to others on a massive forum like this in order to to lead millions of people to slaughter. Yes we have some Nigerians doing well for themselves in UAE and there is no question about that but how many of them? Some are into Yahoo and they are living large, some and working for companies and they are still involving in yahoo to spice up their salaries. For new tourists going to UAE, this is my advice for you, UAE is an amazing country with some beautiful infrastructures, security, electricity.. But to get a job in 2019 is so difficult now, if you are lucky you might get a job. Prepare your mind that when things go wrong, you can always go back home, don't burn your bridges back home all in the name of coming to UAE. Shikena! |
murphybo:He lives in Nigeria Arab Emirates. |
sydneyboss:Please come with your brain next time you wanna quote me, I see you are delusional mere seeing you jumping from post to post without having an idea of what are commenting on. My cousin is languishing in Abu Dhabi jail right now, he got a job immediately he came in on a 3 months visa, worked with them and they kept promising him his visa applications until he spent 5 months with them, UAE placed him on abscond and has 2 months overstay, the company in question has chased him out of the company's accommodation with his passport given back to him, his agent told him he will have ro pay 3500 AED to remove that which is 350k naira, he went to Abu Dhabi to makebthe the payment and he has been in detention since then, his overstay bill is 6000 AED, 600k naira. Don't sit in your comfort zone there and advise people who doesn't have the idea of what's going on in UAE to fall victim of their hard earned money.. UAE right now is facing economic challenges and 250 securities are been layed off from a particular company just last week, I have my business in Nigeria and I have my own personal residence permit in UAE, and I spend most of my time in Nigeria, I've been around to know what is going on here. If you have plenty money to throw around, kindly apply for 3 months and enter UAE labour market.. You are highly welcome. |
Fredgod:You are asking me to keep calm when you keep spamming this thread?, how many times are we going to tell you Staphylococcus is not part of UAE medical tests?.. You have asked this times without numbers and we have answered you, so why asking again? Or is there something you are not telling us here?. If you go for treatment at the hospital, you medical results and treatment ought to be private, so far it's not visa related. And again nobody will deport you fi you don't have HIV/AIDS or Hyperthesis B. |
Fredgod:Guy, may God save you from this your Staphylococcus oo, you've asked this question more than 1 million times and as been answered, I don't know why you keep romancing the sickness here on this forum. |
Green4:Actually I don't know how to check inbox on here, you can ask me here your question or send me a direct message to my email. |
I'm sorry about your situation but that's the reality here, if someone had advised you not to come then, apparently you would have seen a prospective enemy of progress, the truth is bitter but we must say it, UAE is a beautiful country with fantastic infrastructures but we Africans especially Nigerians will find it difficult to strive here unless for few lucky people. I came in UAE as a cleaner earning 36k monthly, I did a management course and it was very expensive while doing a cleaning job. God smiled on me and I got promoted to a Procurement Administrator in my company where I was once a cleaner and I was earning 5,000 drms... only few Nigerians will have this luck or opportunity. I worked for 6 more years, obtained diploma in Photography and that was how I became a CEO, I went back to Nigeria and I have no regret since I came back, I do travel to UAE for visit and other countries for events photography. Most of the guys in UAE are spending naija money I. E visa procurements for their fellow brothers, most of them earn 1,200drms as salary but they make averagely 400k monthly in procurement of visas and accommodations for same Nigerians, you see them come back home with cars and you are intimidated and wanna follow their footsteps. There is no harm in trying, who wanna come should come and see. tojahh: |
I've been reading some comments from the previous page to here and I finally deduce that most Nigerians will never learn from people's mistakes to correct their path to succeed in life, that's why despite the killings, organs harvesting, slave trading of people migrating through the desert Nigerians will still risk travelling by road from Kano to Libya and damn the consequences... SHM. There was never a time UAE was designed for Nigerians, I remember vividly 2012 when 1drms was 43 naira, so if you earn 100drms then your salary is 43,000 naira monthly, you live in the midst of 6-8 people in a room, sleep on bunk iron bed filled with bed bugs. The weather in UAE is 42 right now now so I imagine those guys working outside and they earn 800drms to 1000drms... I'm 2012 Nigerian job seekers rejects cleaning jobs or factory or construction jobs but now 2019 Nigerians will take any job that comes their way as even the menial jobs are no longer available for Nigerians, Ugandans, Kenyans, even Ghana and Cameroonians are more preferred. Who no travel no go know, dey there for Nigeria dey talk wetin you absolutely know nothing about. Nobody is saying you should not travel, but if you must travel, know what you are going there to do, if you must travel, go to Europe or America legally to avoid stories that touch. If you risk coming to UAE with your life savings OR borrowed money from cooperative or micro finance banks, you are highly welcome. People lament about no jobs in Nigeria, can't you learn a skill and invest in it? Everyone can't be employed and that's the mentality problem we are facing right now in Nigeria... Abeg make i stop here before my ink finish. ![]() |
I pray you won't regret ever making such a move, I will advise you to learn further in your fashion designing i.e learn how to make native wears, either for Male or female. Use the money you intend to travel to Dubai to open a classy shop and make your cool cash. Nigeria is not as bad at it seems on paper if you have skills or handwork. If you insist on leaving Nigeria, Migrate legally to America or Europe. bamidele89: |
* Go to 22A,(22nd Floor), Silva Towers, Jumeirah Lake Towers Metro station Dubai UAE. * Once you get down from the metro, take a taxi and it will only cost you 15drms or thereabout. * Go with your expired passport and pay them 190drms. * Get a receipt and take with your passport to Nigeria Embassy in Abu Dhabi to get your face captured and biometrics. * There you pay 300drms and expect your renewed passport ready in 3-4 weeks. * And don't forget to go Nigeria embassy with 4 passport photographs. tyslimmie: |
1. Even if you don't have your Nigeria certificate, you can replace it with a professional course in UAE. 2. It has been answered above. 3. You can state your B.A on your CV, when asked during or after interview, tell them the situation surrounding your certificate and please let your new certificate obtained in UAE be your primary qualification. 4. Check job sites and see the jobs that are of high demands, you can get a professional course on them if you have the resources to do that pwettyolly: |
Please I need to ask, is there any chance for a Diploma holder to participate in Express Entry program, your advise will be highly appreciated. |
Good morning, please can someone advise if there is a chance for a Diploma holder to qualify for Express entry?, your response will be highly appreciated. |
Of course, these kind of jobs does come with accommodation and transportation, being a taxi driver in UAE is not worth it cos of the resources you put in it, you will spend minimum 10k AED to get the license if you are lucky, their salary is poor and you have to work your ass out to meet up with your commission, they often face FINE. HonNEAT: |
If you think you are coming to Dubai to work as a Building engineer, then you must be dreaming as other nationalities are more preferred to Nigerians. However Security job is a mix of menial and entry level jobs in UAE, if you eventually get the SIRA certificate and get a security job, then expect the salaries between 1600 AED to 2,500 {160k to 245k} in naira... Good luck HonNEAT: |
You can go to OIS located at Jumeirah Lake Towers, 22A, 22nd floor Dubai, you pay 190drms and they will forward your application to Nigeria embassy In Abu Dhabi... You then go with your receipt to Abu Dhabi embassy to pay maximum 300 drms for your Biometrics to complete your process. opelorente: |

Please I know this is not the right thread and Nigerians are not eligible to participate in America DV visa lottery but I will like to ask if a Nigerian can participate when married to a foreign wife, is it possible for the wife to apply as the principal applicant when the husband is still carrying a Nigerian passport? @omobendel and Seyewest and any other Guru should kindly advise. |
