I've just received an IL from the Lagos Consulate for 3rd week in October 2023. EB2-NIW. Priority Date: Feb 2022, DQ: September 2022. Hopefully others also received ILs.

I think one of the best things we can do here to help ourselves in terms of knowing what is happening is to state our DQ and priority dates. With this info, we can begin to make informed guesses about what moth the embassy is/has invited for interview. The wait is killing!!!

Please I learned that there is the option of not dropping one's passport with VFS. In that case if the visa is approved, will they simply courier the sticker visa to me, and i would then attach it on my passport?

To send cases to NVC, it usually takes about 1 week, max 2 weeks.

For the NVC to create the case in their system, it's currently taking about 1 months as per their time frames below

How can someone currently in Nigeria pay the NVC fees? On the NVC website its stated that (You will need a bank routing number and a checking or savings account number from a U.S. based bank. ). Please experts in the house, kindly advise. Thanks

I got my first joib through nairaland. I got the company info from nairaland, packaged my cv, and sent it. Two days later, i got a call for an interview. I wasnt good enough, so i was dropped. I went back home, improved myself further, after a year, i reapplied, got another call for an interview, faced the same guys at the panel.......and then got the job.......end of joblessness for me

Look Op, let me tell u something, we need more of those mean entrepreneurs in Nigeria, especially all these poor southwestern states like Osun, Ondo. Yes these jobs are really stressful......but isnt it better than sitting at home, or stealing, or waiting for APC's 5k?.
