- good long play
- highly recommended
- weekly chart macd still above zero
I am of the view UCAP is held mostly by retail Investors. Hence the sharp decline few day after dividend declaration. I also think alot of the dividend were invested by this group in buying more of UCAP.

Should the Q1 result come out good, I expect some -----------

Operating costs and admin exps need to be pruned. Efficiency in asset utilisation should be increased and cost to income ratio require to be reduced and maintained with industry band. The company is still technically over trading and might not be out of the woods yet. Management's financial management is poor and liquidity weakened as bulk of it's fund are in customers hands showing inefficient debt recovery system.

Conspicuously staring at one's face is the increase in the company's leverage. The fact is Oando's financial risk is still very high and exposes investors money to downside risk. This implies that the various spin offs during the year by management yielded little or no benefits.

The profit is what I will describe as pure accounting profit and not organic induced from operating efficiency. Thanks to the benefit from loss recovery and gain from disposal of less productive business.

Continuing operations made a loss, sir. So the profitable operation was sold grin grin

I don't think any investor in his or right senses will want to dump this kind of stock with a very strong fundamentals when the poorly performed and stingy NEstle could only dash peanut as dividend supported with weak results didn't witness such. So why would Total not enjoy same. Though, like the saying goes, mr. market has a mind of its own so we will wait and see the reaction tomorrow.

By the way, yours truly is heavily loaded on this stock.
My Brother, people dumped UCAP at 2.30k. Just hold some cash and be ready grin grin grin

This TOTAL is simply in a class of its own..Excellent result.

Turnover increased by 40% (290.95b in 2016 compare to 208.02b:2015)
Profit before tax grew by 213% shocked
Profit after tax went up astronomically by 266% shocked
EPS (2016:43.58% 2015:16.24%) representing a whooping increase of 45%

Dividend; interim and final- 2016:N17 2015:N12... 2016 final dividend payable is N7.

Recommendation: STRONG BUY
And if disgruntled investors want to dump based on low final script payment= wait for the bottom and load up (a repeat of UCAP) cool cool cool cheesy cheesy cheesy grin grin grin

A THOUGHT: FOR THOSE WHO BOUGHT BEFORE CLOSURE AND STILL HOLDING.... grin

ZENITH BANK: 13.76 (CLOSE TODAY) + 1.77 (DIVIDEND) = 15.53

You have quoted him out of context and I hope mistakenly so.
He began by stating "for those who bought before closure and still holding".
This is why he added the dividend of N1.77kobo to the current price.
He is correct in his post.

Let's be careful with our responses to avoid the avoidable.
Valid.
