Mpeace: FCMB, STANBICIBTC etc are equally holding companies. Why are their results already out I answered to this= What to expect from FY16 from FBNH, not the timing of the result. Trust me, I can't wait to analyse that result. I need all results from Total, Dangflour and FBNH like yesterday. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by holm: 8:16pm On Apr 25, 2017 |
Mpeace: Can anything good come out of a delayed result. Pls help as your answer might aid my next FBNH move. FBNH is a holding company, as such, it's difficult to tell how result will swing. But I tend to be more certain on a bulish 2017 quarterly results. |

holm: We can only conjour reasons here. The sector has been bashed for a while now and little societal issues are impactful here. I wouldn't rule out the new found love for healthy living, switch to alternatives drinks, disposable income etc.
But the stock is not for the retail players like me and currentprice I don't see value in the industry and I don't see it as one with room for exponentila growth. It will grow moderately though.
However, NB is back to positive trend and when Institutional Investors and Foreign Portfolio Investors return, expect some rally here. I don't know how you spend about 45% of Gross profit on Marketing anyway. Will this pass any Cost-Benefit analysis or People in Mamangegent run the marketing deals in personal capacity? NIGERIAN BREWERES COST OF SALES (50,724,253.00) GROSS PROFIT 40,564,445.00 MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION 16,529,396.00 NET FINANCE COST (1,762,420.00) Income tax expense (5,989,923.00) PAT 11,449,252.00 |

What do they do: '' Airline Services & Logistics PLC was established in 1996 to provide catering and related services to airlines operating within the Nigerian aviation industry. The company operates international standard inflight catering facilities, lounges and restaurants at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.''

- I then searched for their Q3 . . aargh arrgh (check for yourself) link: http://aslafrica.com/sites/default/files/Financial%20Results%20for%20Publication.pdf
- sumfin is cooking here
loll I agree here. Always agreed with Currentprice on this one anyway. I'll like to ask Management about the Administrative/Distribution cost in Q4(s) anyway. It seems the company distibutes heavy xmas bags of rice and vegetable oil in Q4. |

locodemy: I hardly comment on fcmb all these while as some people are saying that i lured them into fcmb(deceived) but one thing i know is that if they exercise little patience, they will live to celebrate with me at due time. How can i sell when i am still buying? Fcmb is gradually getting into the hands of those who are not interested to sell for a very long time. You can place your bid order and wait for people who are ready to sell. Just pulling your legs, bro. Anyway, I saw strange things at market close. |
