He was a gentle man in the early 60's when his style of music waz highlife when d economy was still okay.......he suddenly change when Military took over from civilian in 1966 dat things started falling apart which lead to civil war and oppression of easterners.......he totally condemned d war and d detaining of his cousin Wole Soyinka by Gowon.......all dis injustices make Fela to change by using his music to fight and liberate d people frm Military brutality 1 Like |

Achebe wil cause anoda problem....:his words is an offence to d yoruba race and now CPC has find d book offensive saying its a fresh invitation for war. Did Awo caused d civil war or was he d one dat caused d Jan 15,1966 coup or was he d one dat caused d Igbo massacre in d North Sept 1966.....He advised Gowon on how to end d war,after d war he resigned from his post......Achebe failed to point out T.Y Danjuma who masterminded d massacre of igbos after he killed Ironsi & Fajuyi So many books had been written concerning dis civil war.....of which Madiebo's book stated dat shortage of weapons and lack of support from international community contributed to d collapse of Biafra. Enough of this tribal insult between Yoruba and Igbo on Nairaland it won't solve any problem....the North caused most of d problems we are facing today......d way forward is wot we should thinking of |

Mr Lee: Nigerians don't learn good things from the western country, and fail marriages has been a culture of the white so it has started to eat up our good african moral of unity in the home. Op lets go back to the oreintations our grand parants used in runing an unbroken home that why i don't like white wedding.U̶̲̥̅̊ ar right......we embraces bad things from western culture....d good moral value in our culture has declined,girls of nowadays are robbing shoulders wit guys forming rivalry wit guys.....marriages are failing due to influence of fake lifestyles in western movies. Guys of nowadays are like dogs messing up d lives of girls by engaging in a lot of sex....life was not like this during d time of our parents in d 60s,70s,80s...girls are after guys wit money,flashy car coupled wit swaggs but a guy dat hav poor family background wit great ideas can,t win d heart of a girl from rich family.....quite unfortunate dat d Heart of many youths today had been polluted due to western culture.... Marriages wil continue to fail until there is improvement in our economy |
