Main one Main one Cable welcome to Nigeria

Now show your colour( i hope you will not dash our hopes like GLO1 did?)

calls still hangs and drops like mongoes from trees and yet the service providers
yank money out of our pockets and NCC claps to that by providing them with all sorts of mouth
and Jaw braking and tearing Awards
e.g TECH company of the year
Network Company of the decade
broadband company of the century

only them and devil knows what all that means
honestly Nigerians are always shortchanged all the way big time!
we keep changing from ISP ABCD to UWYZ or 1234 to !@#$ to mumu and lost of words
in all this money dey go out of our pockets to the Best Stealing Companies of the Year!!!

main one cable welcome againg!!!

Politics / Re: Rawlings: Yar’adua Prevented Kuffuor From Rigging Ghana’s Polls by holyghost(m): 12:34am On Sep 06, 2009
@Bennyboy11 l love you like i love food,(without food i die)
Nigerians are quick to fight anybody Bennyboy11 inclusive, who tries to point them in the right
Directions, like the Jews of Jesus era, they will shout let His blood be upon my generations and my great descendants, Kill Jesus and give us Barabbas. Or rather kill Nigeria and give us Giant of Africa title!!!
What a pathetic ideology,

So, l advice you wash your hands off Nigerians like Great Pilate did. And let them take the heat like the donkeys they really are.

@ topic, i still don't believe that Yar’adua Prevented Kuffuor From Rigging Ghana’s Polls, cus
Where will he get the moral strength to do that?

Electoral process is very difficult to perfect, but Nigerian style is nothing to assure anyone there is hope in our generation and even our 3rd generation of our descendants to come.
one thing people in Nigeria don't know about Giants, is that they are made to be slayer joy, so the Giant slayer
takes all the glory and the gigantic carcass is left for the vultures and the element to reduce it to pieces.

David did it in the bible, and it take the spider just 10 mins. to kill an Elephant
size means nothing without common sense
So, Who is next that wants to be a Giant? Count me out!
Politics / Re: Federal Govt Please Stop Sony Entertainment. by holyghost(m): 10:58pm On Sep 05, 2009
Nigerians are scammers and no way we can run or hide it by denial or passing the bulk around.
We know that everybody knows that i know that you know that our president knows that Allah knows
That the whole Nigerians know that the devil knows that all nations know that Nigeria is the greatest exporters of fraud and scam deals.

What is wrong, is that we are doing nothing to change it; rather our government is doing more to institutionalize it,
The government pay militants and owe lecturers = more student and even the lecturers are advised to join the militants if they need decent payment?

Do we blame the world tomorrow if they call us militants and scammers?

Soon and very soon,  Our kids will be telling there parents and those who care to listen their best career choice

Son: Hi dad i want to be a militant o!

Dad: no, no, no! that is very bad and dangerous

Son: don’t worry i have been doing well in kidnapping business i need to move on to the real deal.

Dad: okay, then you have my blessings, during our fathers time they did Local 419, wash-wash, fake naira spending etc,
Son: really, that poor way of making money,

Dad: But me your dad started with cocaine courier to a nice baron then i went further to international 419, £50million transfer pay upfront 10% or come and carry: even I had courier company all over the world, before the oyibo mugu come wise up. Well money is money so go make money my son.

Son: thank you sir i need some money to buy tools

Dad: no need i have mailer, spam brusher, inbox direct and websites

Son: come on dad! i mean, you know, camouflage, Ak 47, submarine, point and kill or at least juju red bandana with     mask to fit.

Events / Re: Ladies: Can You Sponsor Your Wedding? by holyghost(m): 12:08am On Jun 17, 2009
well, pride is a decease of the mind, OK don't think right and suffer shame all Ur life.

in my opinion women should help when it is necessary, the law or tradition was made to make man succeed and not to make man fail?

what is wrong with women sponsoring the wedding show?
look if you see your MR right but his pocket was wrong, Fix it quickly OK!
here is what you should look out for b4 u sponsor,

1 Ask God for directions 1st

2 is the Guy cooperative ( reason well with you, i.e very compatible with u) remember no pretence on his part O!

3 has he got the penitential to be up /independent after d wedding is on( to avoid 4ever depending too much on u)

4 has he got any record to show that he was once a real man ( i.e b4 he lost the command of his cash)

Please. note that this forum is not just for jocks these thing are really people real problems so when u post be helpful and matured life is a market place if u throw a stone it might hit Ur sister or Ur Daughter badly.

Women should also note that not all women were created to marry and not all married were destined to reproduce it's God's design for life to be uneven, so to him give the glory( he is the most Wise)

Webmasters / Re: Which Is The Fastest Internet Connection In Nigeria by holyghost(m): 8:56pm On Jul 23, 2008
ISP Consortium plans nationwide broadband network
25 internet service providers (ISPs) across the country have decided to come together to form an alliance to build a broadband network in all the major cities of Nigeria. The consortium, NAIJAWiFi, called on the government of President Umaru Yar Adua to urgently declare a ‘state of broadband emergency’, claiming that ‘broadband connectivity remains the key to unlock the nations potentials and accelerate economic growth’.

The consortium applauded the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on its broadband initiatives. ‘The declaration of 2007 as the year of broadband, the NCC State Accelerated Broadband Initiative, the WIN project, and its excellent frequency and broadband plan as unveiled at the national broadband workshop, clearly shows the Commission is on the path to history once more. The consortium also appreciates the effort of the Federal government with the launch of NIGCOMSAT 1, which would definitely impact positively on the broadband path,’ said Ndukwe Kalu, CEO of Amsco Telecoms and spokesman for the the NAIJAWiFi consortium, which is made up of ISPs with operations in 30 Nigerian states. ‘We do not discriminate as the consortium is open to the big and small and from any part of the country,’ said Kalu. ‘Our foundational belief is that any city can be Nigeria's Silicon Valley.’

The consortium’s plan is to build a network across 47 cities of Nigeria, covering all state capitals and other key cities, a clear departure from the usual Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja deployments. The project is estimated to swallow over NGN5 billion (USD39.9 million), and has the backing of local financiers. The consortium is also talking to international financial groups. Members of NAIJAWiFi include Amsco Telecoms, Siotel, Linkserve, Acet Technology, Acti Tech, Afrione, Amdifol, AS Technologies, Best Communications, Blue Topaz, Cobranet, CyberGold, Falmur Communications, I-Net Global, NOVA, Juninet, Kidacom, Orbit Infolinks, SITL, Spaceway, Steineng, Swift Talk, WebOnLan, WorldWeb and Zeccon.

Computers / Re: Visafone Internet Connection! Any Hope? by holyghost(m): 1:11pm On Jun 22, 2008
My brother to be frank, most major operators like starcomms MTN GLO
Cobranet Swift, Glilat, IPNX are doing there best at the moment

1 the cause of bandwidth must be paid to their international ISPs
when this bandwidth was paid for must of them do not bargain for additional cost
for power, which you and I know that we are now a Generator driving economy

2. our Government is busy increasing the cost fuel and other multiple tax regime is in place now
(water rate, packing rate tenement rate land owner rate sign post tax. in fact we have sit down look
Tax, waka pass tax)

3. cost of transport to power/refuel base stations from place to place Man hour lost in traffic logjam

the truth is that NCC knows about this humongous expenses that's why the keep cool on sanctions
that they should apply.

for example most average home small office users

you paid =N=16,000 for a month internet service + 800 as vat = 16,800

to be honest you Need =N= 25,000 fuel to enjoy this one month
and you must change your Generator Plugs at =N= 300 a month
then engine Oil for =N= 450, depending on capacity and brand of Generotor set in use

rough estimate will being you to =N=50,000 to have a simple Internet service on 2systems per month

now compere yourself with the ISP
that also have to pay staff (from security, cleaners, contract staff to the rest of main staff and managers and directors, don't forget share holders and bribe that is giving to ease some contract and other informal cost of base stations and land rent that goes with it).

how do you compere them with USA, France UK even GHANA AND SOUTH AFRICA has better business atmosphere, must of the ISPs and in fact other coporate organisation in Nigeria has done their best based on our current state of amenities.

our government is the bane for a better life in this County, so face them with the blames.
from Federal to state to local level non has done 20% of their responsibility.

is like blaming a child when his parents are not giving him/her what she need to excel.
that will be humanly unfair, and unacceptable

As I type now some of the are biting their finger as to doing business in Nigeria.
we have the poplation that can make Nigeria Great, But few people in the power house/politic are doing everything to make Nigeria a less great nation.
