The pastor reported for defamation and not cyber crime, let focus on that since ur making it about the pastor

And the judge that is hearing the case?? All the civil society's keeping quiet are they also corrupt. Even falana is quiet among others. These people are good in taking such case upon themselves so what happend in this case??

First he is not my pastor and secondly she will have her day in court. If its a civil offence I don't see any reason why the judge didn't just discharge her but rather Grant her bail she can't meet. If she has evidence let her publish it, is that not her way for doing things before now?

Bros stop being cynical. She was arrested in her house in Ibadan by a Port Harcourt based "pastor" who paid for the police to arrest her in Ibadan and ferry her to PH. The case is even a civil matter not criminal. But because the state prosecutor has been compromised, Kemi is being imprisoned because of an Instagram post!!! The precedence that this will set in the Nigerian legal space is very humongous. Those police prosecutors in Rivers would be behind bars now if we had an active Attorney general.

Bros how did u know the pastor paid for her to be locked up or compromised the whole process? Is it not better to report what u don't like than taking matters in ur hands. If any one broke the law is the police, but since all our security operatives and the judiciary is silent do u feel the pastor paid for all arms of government to be silent as well. Since it's a civil matter should it be settled in a town hall meeting?

I am so saddened by this picture. Much as the lady usually goes off the rails with her comments but she should be treated in line with best practices across the world. Why cuff her with a man? I don't understand this concept of 'criminal defamation'. This ought to be a purely civil matter. Defamation is a tortious wrong. Nigeria, where the high and mighty manipulate the lawto suit their selfish purpose.

If u wake up one morning and type anything on ur wall I believe no one would care, but as a licenced journalist ur duty is to investigate and qstn both parties before publishing that is the ethics of journalism because u have a platform where before go to get information, when u use that right and privilege wrongly some one will definitely ask qstns. This is the way of a dictator. The fact that you don't like someone gives you no right to want to put them away. Its the same reason dictators kill their critics. A pastor that doesn't like criticism and arranged for his critic to be locked up in prison is no pastor. If he likes let him track me down and find me. I'll say it to his face. Jesus was the son of God, he had many critics and haters. He didn't command fire from heaven to wipe them off the face of the earth. He had the power and authority to do it. You should be giving people orientations on the dangers of drugs than pointing accusing fingers. If they are no body buying the drugs definitely they will be no drug dealers, it's simply a demand and supply situation.
