now let me educate you a little about demand and supply. if they is no high demand of hard drugs in s.a, people will see it as a non-lucrative business and wont venture into it. if what most of the middle aged want in south africa bread, they will be more people selling bread. demand influences supply. selling of drugs is a very bad thing and should be condemd in all sincerity, but when you make it a nigerian thing your simply not doing justice to yourself because they are even more south africans and zimbabweans selling drugs in south africa than nigerians.

How do we document what happened to Nigeria in the 1850s? How do you know the Royal Niger company bought the entity known as Nigeria today? How do we know of the Ajayi Crowther and his expedition as a slave and writer? Isn’t it from these so called foreign media outlets?

Without them a lot of our history would have been lost coz we as a people don’t document historical fact and you can’t seem to believe things through word of mouth.

It’s not true that Awolowo did not talk about who released him, he actually did in his book titled “Awo on the Nigerian civil war” published in 1982. Just that I’ve lost touch with that book and I’m still trying to get it through online book outlet.

Also, why does he need to reiterate who released him when it was a public knowledge. Just like Fela did not shout about who released him from prison, just like Obasanjo did not keep shouting who released him from prison, just like Sheu Sani is also not shouting about who released him from prison.

Even in the face of pictorial, videos, and prints evidence staring at your face, you are still doubting this.

Can I ask you a question:
What will affect you if you know Gowon actually released Awolowo from prison?

Am not doubting anything, am just saying they are always two sides to a story. You might be right or wrong, only those involve actually know who did what. No body is gonna give me a cent if Ojuku or Gowon released Awo. Am just tired of this constant fight of east and west trying to prove an unnecessary point

Bro don't confuse yourself, Ironsi never had it in mind to release Awolowo because it won't even favor them by having a freed Awolowo at that time.

I wouldn't want to jump into argument on this, in our present day Nigeria every one has his own perspective of history because its not been taught in school. You can make reference of some western news outlet to back up your claim, some one els will do same to backup his that is how twists the Nigerian history has become. Awolowo never made reference of who actually released him, if he did it would have given us a better perspective on this discuss, Gowon himself said nothing after ojokwu said he released Awo, not after the passing of Ojukwu before he came out and said he did. So bro u see our leaders both past and present aren't doing us any favour on this. Thank God for this generation and the internet to keep record for the next generation
