PoliticsRe: Gombe Governor Involved In Auto Crash by holyvirgin: 5:42pm On Jan 17, 2013
homerac7: anybody who knows Gombe-Yola road very well will know it is a death trap. The FG road is a long windy pot-holes ridden single lane road through some of the most hostile terrains of Tangale mountains the country geography can describe. Well, I know Shongom very well, in fact, i was posted to serve at the LG secretariat there originally.

RIP to the dead. Soonest recovery to the wounded. Thank God for the survivors
The yola - Gombe road is in a good shape now, it was repaired last year. I just came back from yola yesterday.
The road was not the cause, read the article again

Inik: Buhari will contest the 2015 election after which he will make history as the first man to be rejected four consecutive times at presidential election polls by Nigerians. He will then scurry away with his bloodshot eyes to his cave in katsina to lick his wounds and live the remainder of his life in total obscurity.
I couldn't help but laugh, and so shall it be IJN, AMEN

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Imagine This Cover Letter: Can It Work Here in Nigeria? by holyvirgin: 9:30am On Jan 17, 2013
A Nigerian employer won't accept this cover letter, he wants you to lie about how skilled you are, he wants you to see 15years working experience even if you've never worked all your life, he wants you include that you were a first class student even if you bribed your lecturers to get the scores, who cares? Just keep the lies coming as you write a resume and I tell you a nigerian employer would be impressed.
Btw this days nobody is giving you a job unless you are well connected. Resume's don't count

PoliticsRe: Sanusi Bombshell! Calls For Ban Of CAN,ACF, JNI And Afenifere by holyvirgin: 8:44am On Jan 16, 2013
olokfor: “CAN is not the cause of trouble or insecurity in this country. CAN was formed to protect the interests of Christians, especially in fighting persecution.
The same institution has turned around to persecute christian, feeding fat on its members and ignoring the plights of most christians...
The aim of setting up religious institutions has been defeated though I am not a fan of sanusi but I agree ban them all, worship comes from the heart and not neccesarily setting up religious bodies...

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Wont Break Up - Jonathan by holyvirgin: 8:33am On Jan 14, 2013
berem: imagine comparing a marriage union to an entity called nigeria! to add salt in the injury,he said nigeria is not a mad nation.when we have mad and clueless people in the helm of affairs, what do call the government? A MAD AND CLUELESS GOVERNMENT!
Oh please for once reason with your head.
Almagamation of 1914 might be a mistake, but overcoming all difficulties for almost a hundred years is something we should not allow some group of people to destroy. As a nation we must stand firm and focus. Bad leadership may also be a problem but calling the entire government clueless is unacceptable.
Nigeria belongs to us and ranting on a social forum would not change anything.
