Hello friends, i used IQAS for qualifications assessment for i and my fiancee only to find out IQAS takes about 13 to 14 weeks( >3months) whereas WES takes 7 working days after reciept of docs to do finish an assessment from their website, this is really sad. Does anyone know what can be done to lower processing time? Does contacting them help for those who have used IQAS successfully.

Yes you need to do your ECA and I advise you do it with IQAS. It will be assessed as a Bachelors Degree. When you get to Canada, you can do the necessary qualifying exams. Your IELTS result seems good but you need to consider each band separately. if you did >= 8 in Listening and >= 7 in the other bands, you are good to go, especially if your age is less than 35 years. My final words, do your ECA and jump into the pool. Things become clearer while in the pool. Please leave out your friend in the entire process, you won't be getting any points from him.

Let me answer your 2nd question. I have a zillion Canadian citizen friends in Canada but it is illegal to deceive CIC. And you will have to prove it by documentation, birth certificates with both your parents names on there. Besides if the relative is not a blood relation, I.e. Mother, father, sibling...forget it. Except you want to go the PNP route where you get points for having a relative living in that province. I will advise you to go get your papers assessed, and apply like everyone else TRUTHFULLY. Then pray to God to grant y'all favor.

I am nit trying to decieve CIC, I am well aware of the possible aftermath. However, are you very certain about this as i got contrary opinions from people around me who have applied. However, i thought i should confirm here. Can any other person give an opinion on this? Thanks

Good day friends, I have been following this thread for a while due to my intent to migrate to Canada when possible. I and my fiancee have written the IELTS exam. We passed very decently (8 /9). However, as a pharmacist in Nigeria, is it compulsory i do a qualifications assessment before applying to the pool?

Secondly, i have a friend in Canada whose willing to stand as a relative, however, he is really a family friend. My question is would the difference in our family names be a problem? And would i be required to migrate to the same city he is in?

1. Firstly dont just download any chess app, download your app from chess.com. That app would analyze your moves at the end, teach you tactics anf openings anf also allow you to play online with ch3ss players all over the world.
2. Google things like " best chess openings", chess tatctics, "How to use a Bishop" or "Rook" or knight" you would find ideas tht would help you.
3. Also there are tons and tons of videos on youtube that you just have to search for.
4. Practise as much as possible always.

These guys are fools rushing to this thread like flies to corpse. Cant you guys do just a little research and see that this guy is a scam? A lot of people lost money to him and his counterpart here in Nigeria, yet una still wan chook head. I personally lost around 80k or thereabout, but there were people who lost hundreds of thousands. We were not warned then as the thread was new.

So i checked my score online and was pleasantly suprised to see a score of 8.
Breakdown;
Speaking; 8.0
Writing ;6.5
Reading; 8.0
Listening ; 8.5
I was initially excited but now, i really cant see what the advantage is although i havent applied to any CIC yet. Is this score and WES certificate accreditation enough to lift me above the threshold 400 points score?
Any advice on how to register and attain max points would be appreciated.

As a believer in Christ I was tempted to ignore Marchman but I had to write this reply to encourage Christ Embassy members especially the 'children' in particular and true Christians of different denominations in general.

Now concerning Marchman, going through his previous threads on Nairaland and the titled thread on why he left Christ Embassy i concluded he was never a true member of Christ Embassy or a christian but a Wolf among the Sheep. I recently paid my fiancée an hagast visit where she works only to discover that this girl has been occupying an apartment with a single door lobby as entry and exit comprising only two rooms with a male senior colleague.

I know many of us especially ladies will argue it doesnt matter. But I have since then been processing all her past suspicious actions , namely: she seldom answer her phone if i call in evenings (between 7 - 2am usually). At 2am she usually calls back that she saw my calls but she was asleep.
