In my understanding, confessing to 'one another' had more to do with the unity in the early church then and was a way of making christians come to terms with eachother once they err against one another.

I believe only 2 persons can forgive sins
1: The person you erred against
2: God.

Tip? Read the Lord's prayer again, this was what Jesus our true savior taught us and the key to who's capable of forgiving sins is hidden in that prayer.

See how you are gradually shifting the goal post. First you said "only God and the offended can forgive sins." Now you are saying "every Christian can forgive sins."

Which one should we take?

Sort yourself out before you attack Catholic doctrine. You dont even know what you believe.

If you say they were living, it means righteous men who have left this earth are living...and can talk to Jesus.

My only contribution is that many people do not understand that the most important part of Christianity is having a relationship with God, and above all living it up. Outside the church, how do you practice what you have learnt? That is what the Catholic church emphasizes, faith and works. If you pray and scream morning to night in chuch chasing demons and I pray and listen one hour, in church and I am able to practice what was preached Nd you did not, who is a better Christian?
