4 Play: I am struggling to see what your point is. I have posted several times that Israel captured Gaza in 1967 from Egypt before handing it over to the Palestinians in 2005, I say 2005 as that is when they pulled all troops out of Gaza. Israel has never owned Gaza and does not claim to own Gaza. Not one inch of Gaza territory is occupied or claimed by Israel today.

Prior to Egypt taking over Gaza, Gaza was run by the British who captured it from the Ottoman Turks during the Fist World War. The article you have posted clearly shows this. Neither, the Egyptians, the British or the Turks are Palestinian, hence, Israel's action of handing over control to the Palestinians marked the first time in history that the Palestinians were able to exercise sovereignty over Gaza.

As for where Israel was prior to 1947, Israel did not exist as a country. However, neither did Palestine. Effectively, what has happened is that just as Nigeria has been created by Western fiat, Israel was created by fiat too. Not sure what relevance that has with why Gazans choose to lob rockets into their neighbour's territory when this hardly advances their cause. Israel does not want Gaza so one cannot make the argument that the people of Gaza are resisting Isreali aggression when they attack a state that has ceded control to Gazans.

Odunnu: When admission list was announced in UNIBEN, students had there courses swapped. Those who applied for mass-com were given medicine -it was that funny. It was rectified as it was a system error.
Since it happened to some other person, its possible its a system error.
According to you, Jamb already confirmed her accountancy admission, Unilorin also did which she has already printed.

She entered with her A level result. thank God she just got intouch me with, had access to the director of the ministry of education in kwara and the baba said it's an error from the school and that they cant do that to someone that has already registered and that she should go to the admin on monday.

Human kinetics is in the department of education, not even close to social sciences, they don't even give BSc so it's so funny that someone from education would be moved far away from her faulty to another faculty entirely. her result has more to do with Accounting, banking and finance, statistics e.t.c and i wonder why someone like that would be moved that far.

I smell foul play, someone in the admin department is fixing new people into some student's slot while moving the owners to random courses.

IMO, she has a strong case but she should play the fool in the meantime and follow procedure- file a complaint/meet the dean at student affairs, registrar's office, Accountancy dept. She should be active and step out to get this sorted out.

You want her matric number? they are yet to issue out matric, i think november 26th or thereabout is their matric day. she's to go to the admin office on monday and probably see the dean and the level officer.
