A christian bank won't be a bad idea. Gods principle is against this present banking system. Pastor AIO is right here.
I am happy we have Christians who are not tribal-sentimental-hate filled Christians.

Just imagine us having a Christ-oriented banking system where interest are not charged on loan?

Hopefully from Nigerian league or Nigerian football in general.

No one imposed GEJ on Nigeirans. We all stup1dly opened our eyes and elected him. This isnt about morals or ideals or principals; this is about getting back to North, and making them feeling inconsequential while electing an incompetent, serially ineffective leader.
Buhari was there. Did we vote him: NO.
Ribadu was there. Did we vote him: NO

Oya, o rip your whirlwinds. I hope the next bomb blast takes one your MEND supporters family away!
C'mon, speak for yourself, you foolishly voted for him, not "we all" okay?

I just lost interest in our league since Owunmi was removed, Obaseki was sounding so sad and heartbroken when i listened to him today on radio, our league is a sham and nothing to write home about, the winning at home syndrome is coming back into the league and this is not good at all!!!

Sir, I have chop 64pips today. I don dey work on myself as per your recommendations,
Nice, but it seems you don't use SL? that's not a nice way to start your trading career.

Secondly, you let your losses run too deep before cutting but very anxious to close your winning trades, this is also not good.

Greed, fear and anxiety is still in your trading method, try working on these.

Lastly, you swing at this early stage of your trading career, you need to stick to one or two pair for now until you get used to trading and at the same time get your own trading style.

Just my observation and recommendation.

May the pips be with you! cool

1st and foremost, my ID is honeric01 not honoric, next time look well before typing.

Secondly, who told you i am seeking admission? what makes you think i am not out of school already or currently in school?

Lastly, don't take this personal, seems you're taking it personal or does the school belong to you?

I am not here to argue either.
If my parents are from Kwara but live in Bayelsa where I had all of my education up to SSCE, can't I lay claim to being a Kwaran? There is nothing like an Ilorin name, to me anyway.

Good luck with your opinion though. Thank you and have a nice day.
I meant to saw Kwaran name and not Ilorin name, yes there's a way you know a Kwaran name, when i said local, i meant to say you must have lived in Kwara and schooled in Kwara to be considered Local, if you're not a Kwaran but did your schooling there, you're also considered a Kwaran, followed by you being Yoruba and then any other tribes. That's my point and yours hasn't changed it.

Probitas doctrinas! I am just giving an illustration by that percentage but my argument still holds. If majority of the applicants are Yorubas, people should not be annoyed if they found that the majority of students admitted are Yorubas since intelligence is not a monopoly of any tribe. 73,392 students jostle for admission into UIL last session to show that your 'handful' is just a minute minority.

My point is: The fact that some people you know from other tribes did not get admitted does not mean people from those tribe does not get admitted into UIL. So many factors might have connived to make those you know not to be admitted. Yorubas dominate the school but they did not do so because they were treated preferentially but because they constitute the bulk of applicants as dictated by common sense (UIL is in a Yoruba community).

Your elder brother's wife being an alumni does not make her all-knowing about UIL admissions. I believe she talk from what she witnessed in the school and not what is the rule.

If I may ask: How does UNILORIN decide who is Yoruba and who is not if you are so sure of your claim?

Yoruba = Anybody that comes with a state of origin certificate from the Southwest (be it Ikechukwu Uche or Rabiu Kwankwaso)?
Yoruba = Anybody with a Yoruba name (be it Olusegun Aganga from Edo state)?
Yoruba = huhhuh??

Thank God we have a witness on the thread. I can invite more people to tell their stories on this thread but I know it will never change your preconceived notion about UIL.
I am not here to argue with you, you have your opinion and i have my opinion, can you please respect that?
I never said my bro's wife is all knowing, i only said you confirmed what i just said, she noticed it and its not like she heard it, she was in the system, she also helped people into that school hence she was close to the admission department.

Secondly the other person i told you about also said the same thing.

Lastly, an Ilorin name can surely be known through where you did your primary and secondary education and also through where you wrote your GEC or SSCE so that logic you highlighted does not hold water.

All in all, what i said about Unilorin is not false and remains true until you prove to me that its not like this.

1: Locals first
2: Yoruba second
3: Any other tribes.

Thank you.

PoliticsRe: To All GEJ Supporters - Do You Regret Your Vote? by honeric01(m): 10:18am On Jun 23, 2011
@Odunnu

Who are the losers once more?
the families of those who lost their graduate kids in the pre-post election violence
The people who lost lives in Jos, Abuja, Bayelsa, Port hacourt stadium, Borno, Kaduna, Benue, Kano, Niger e.t.c (including those who died trying to get a bag of rice)

It's saddening to see someone as "beautiful" as you to reason the way you reason, it's sad and disheartening,  you call me a poverty stricken person just because i did't and still don't support mediocrity, what a waste of mindset.

Anyways let me help you define poverty in my own way :

Poverty is when you settle for less when you can actually get the best
Poverty is when you give excuses for your failure
Poverty is when you can't differentiate between good and bad
Poverty is when you always call God to help you do things he has already given you choice and power to do.
Poverty is when you think GEJ is the best among the 16 candidates on the ballot paper.

Lastly, poverty drives you into making sentimental and superstitious judgement just like most of you did on April 16th.

My fervent prayers for Nigeria is for Jonathan to prove me wrong, i don't expect anything good and meaningful from him, but if he does any, i'd be the one to smile because i know that sometimes, it's good not to place expectations on anyone or anybody so that you won't be disappointed if the person fails.
