good afternoon house, please how long does it take for VAC to receive an application and then send collection mail? My application shows moved to VAC since very early this morning and till now, it hasn't been received by VAC neither have I received collection mail. Another question is, if the main applicant get visa does it mean the dependents (children alone) would get too? did priority for myself as main applicant and did standard for my kids. I am asking so as to buy tickets once my visa is out while I wait for theirs.

Did you get an email prior to this? Maybe the 'your application has been processed ' mail.

pls my question goes thus.
1. Can main applicant and dependent apply at intervals. Reason is that both POF will get to 28days at 1week interval. So main applicant is thinking of applying first while dependent apply 1week after .

2. And also main applicant is using joint account own by the husband and wife as his POF, does he need consent letter from the partner if they won't be applying together.

3. When main applicant is filling the form and the question are you travelling with dependent is asked, what is the best answer ? Because i saw a refusal letter yesterday where someone choose YES and he's being rejected on that basis because the POF can't be enough for the dependent even though they didn't put in application.

Good morning,someone posted this refusal letter, so for those applying alone first before their dependants should we answer NO we are not travelling with dependant since their pof is not in the account. Please justwise advice needed. Because I filled yes but their pof is not in the account

We paid for priority for only myself but his own was processed exactly 5 working days. I guess it's a total waste paying for priority for dependants cos its processed same time with that of the main applicant. Atleast that's what happened in my case.
