We have seen how Ocherome Nnanna of the Vanguard newspaper was attacked because of his bad mouth,

We have seen how people made bad comments about the igbos in the cause of condemning what he did.

We have seen how the Igbos did not reject him as their brother. They never said he wasnt an Igbo since he is from Delta state.

Now in the cause of this whole attack, all those delta people here who quickly come here to disturb us that there are no igbos in Delta state kept quiet in all these happenings.

None of those so called Delta guys here came out to claim that Nnanna is not an Igbo man rather he is a Delta guy as they usually do whenever the issue of igbos in delta state comes up here. Absolutely none.

If Nnanna had done something worthy of celebration, those hypocrites would have been running around here and screaming that he is from Delta state. Even the Yorubas here will support them to tell us that they are not our brothers and that we are doing attache by force. What a hypocritical set.

Same way Ikwere and some Etche people behave. When their brother does something bad they wont claim he is not an Igbo rather they will keep quiet while the Igbo nation are attacked due to the Igbo name the person bears. But when any of their own does something of celebration they quickly starts screaming that he is Ikwere or Etche and not Igbo. What a shame of a people.

Yet in all these, Igbos will take the insult as they come without screaming that they are not Igbos. God bless the Igbos.

our SE brothers are becoming more frustrated and they should watch it cos it's not looking too good for them in the scheme of national politics, even a pdp member told me that they are likely to go for a SW candidate as VP for 2019 and I asked what happen to the SE who are major stakeholders in PDP, he told me I should just watch and see, I was shocked. Our SE brothers should focus more on profitable things rather than throwing tantrums here and there but would they ever listen?

Having said that, let me educate you more that Igbos are not dependent on politics. Igbos prefer to hustle and succeed on their own than to depend on politicians to share money with. Politics is not a do or die affair in Igbo land thats why political killings is quite low in the south east.

marginalization of igbos only ends in the political field. The average individual igbo man/woman is doing well much more than the north and the other southerners who you think are not being marginalized. Just dont worry about us. we will always survive and excel.

Yoruba is only a faction of vanguard customers . Its not the whole Nigeria so their boycott will not make the business to go down. It will affect their market to an extent but not to the point of them folding up. The boycott wont even last long.

Newspapers survive on advertisements. Yorubaland corporate entities will be sensitized to the vanguard bigotry and that of its editors. We can't use our money to support bigotry.

Corporate entities will not stop advertising their goods and services in a national newspaper like Vabguard just because of tribal comment made by somebody except if the management of the company are moro.ns.

Companies wants many customers to patronize their goods and services thats why they engage in series of adverts and spend huge monies for that matter. They want their companies to be patronized across every ethnic groups as much as possible so they cant engage in such an anti-profit act of not advertising in Vanguard just because someone insulted an ethnic group. Except if the company is being managed by moro.ns as i said before.

Prior to the 2015 election there were much political killings in various parts of Rivers state. Today as we approach the 2019 election it appears Wike is gradually changing the narrative from that of assassination to engaging in massive projects across Rivers state.

The number of projects being carried out by Wike in Rivers state is so much that the popularity of the opposition party is seriously dying daily. People like me who are not supporters of Wike are beginning to like him.

Me think this is a very good way of dealing with the opposition than engaging in what will waste people's lives. Lets hope for a peaceful election in 2019. My only worry is that Wike may not continue the good works he is doing now if he wins in 2019. Typical of Nigeria's politicians,

With votes from North, South West and some pockets of votes from South South, Buhari will be re-elected.

You think Buhari will win the north like before? The middle belt wont give him big votes like before. The south west wont vote him like before, I have seen more south west supporters of Buhari in 2015 who are against him today due to the harsh economy. Infact you hardly see those who were against him in 2015 coming now to support him. Even the south south wont vote him as before.South east may give him 1% this time.

Some core northerners who supported him are against him today and you hardly see any northerner who was against him in 2015 coming out now to support him. From all indications, Buhari has lost more of his supporters than winning the heart of his enemies. The election may surprisingly not favour him as you think.

The votes of the north will be shared among the northern candidates coming out from APC and PDP this time around. Its not like in the case of GEJ where votes were shared between north and south.

While i condemn the bad mouth of Nnanna Ocherome on Yorubas, I wish to state that the idea of getting him sacked by Vanguard newspaper is not necessary. Yorubas who are threatening to stop buying vanguard newspaper should also know that the same could be applicable ro the igbos if he is sacked. Both Igbo vendors and newspaper readers may stop patronizing vanguard. How many yoruba newspaper vendors do they have compared to the igbos? If a vendor does not bring a particular newspaper to your area will you kill him? You think vendors are not important too.

For me, Nnanna should apologize for running his mouth wrongly and move on. Vanguard should not be threatened by the ultimatum being issued by the Yoruba journalists.

Most importantly, newspapers sell based on the quality of their news. If you stop buying Vanguard newspaper and they carry exclusive report of your interest will you stiil not buy it based on your sentiments? That will amount to foolishness and you will be the loser, not vanguard.

For me as an Igbo man, I am not crazy about an Igbo man being the president of Nieria. What we need is a president who possesses good leadership qualities. A president who will create a very friendly business environment, a man who will provide us with the basic amenities. As for our progress, we are good hustlers and with all the right things put in place, we can always progress.

It is not in our nature to beg for money or food, idleness is not part of us so whether we produce president or not we will continue to prosper by God's grace. It is in our blood to succeed in life. We dont rely on politicians to be dashing us money everyday or be giving us free food everyday as we see in some other parts of the country. Durotoye is a good material for presidency. Donald Duke is good too. Soludo is also a good one. I can vote any of them comfortably.
