CrtlAltDel: How come there is no "No Mans Land" in tbe SE. Wait until PH sea port, Calabar Port, Onitsha and other Ports around the east becomes fully operational, you will see how many Igbos will leave Lagos. The paramount interest of an average Igbo man anywhere he goes is opportunity to make it in life The more the opportuinity is made available around the east the more they come home. Don't worry we will soon get there. |

Yea Emekuku and Awaka are closer to Owerri than Mbaise but my comparison is not between Mbaise and Emekuku. Mbaise is not a bush. If you have anything against them pls separate it from my argument. They may be greedy anyway. |

Oga080666419419: Don't mind the fools. Somebody bought a plot of land in Ilorin since 2014 at 150k, she wanted to sell it this year they were pricing it 180k. In three years a land in Ilorin only appreciated with 30k.
My cousin bought a piece of land at Oba behind Rojenny for 700k, they called him to know if he will sell 2m but the dude want to develop the property. This is less than 2 years. Now I'm hearing they are selling around Grundvig 2.5m now, something that used to like 450k-500k That’s why i pity some unscrupulous children here who ridicule themselves by thinking that Igbo land is a desert. Some of them have not travelled outside their land in the west or North yet they make noise the most. Land appreciates faster in Igboland and are very expensive. A plot of land in my village goes for about 2.5 millon naira now. The ones inside goes for about 1.5 million naira. Some people here were accusing igbos of not wanting to sell their land to non igbos but when we challenged them to come and let's show them land to buy they couldnt do it. Obviously they cant afford to buy our land because of the high price. We buy their land because they are very cheap. We are the reason why their land appreciates the way it does yet they will come here and senselessly talk ill against Igbo land. Its pathetic when people deceive themselves. |

He was against them from the beginning before the other south east governors rose up against them. Whether they sit at home or stand at home, someone will win today and preside over the affairs in Anambra state for the next four years. |

mrvitalis: Over 15 million for a plot of land that's is not even in Owerri , then you expect us to come back home and build ?
The price of land in the east is too much
I'm setting up a 50 hectares plantation in Ogun next year , I know how much I'm leading the land in a year trust me I won't lease a hectare for that amount in my home state imo state
With 2.5 million you can lease 500 hectares in Ogun ,Osun or oyo , even less in places like kwara ,kogi and benue ... Leasing a plot of land in imo I was told over 20k a year and That's the cheapest I saw
And we say we want Biafra ?? Learn from Nnewi people and invest in your area while doing in Ogun State. Stop ridiculing yourself here. You can't use land in Mbaise that is close to Owerri capital to compare to a remote village in Ogun State pls. |

Mr President sir, pls ignore the noise that the so called ipob is making and pay your visit to Igbo land as scheduled. Kindly use your visit to clear the mind of our people of the feeling that u hate them.
Our people are majorly christians so make sure that some prominent Igbo and Yoruba clergy men are around you (especially Catholic and Anglican church, Redeemed and winners. Also father Mbaka etc ) . By so doing, no sane christian will have the mind to cast a stone on a platform that his spiritual leader is standing. Also our prominent traditional rulers.
Our people are not difficult to win. To win them is easy to achieve thru religion than by millitary force. Also by doing things that will show that you don't hate us . We believe more in action than in words.
You are highly welcome Mr President. Thank you.

There is no way any two tribes will have a perfect relationship. There will always be some differencea here and there. Even people of the same family or community do quarel. Yoruba have their negative sides just like the igbos but we all must try to manage our differences very well.
The one of Yoruba muslims is where i am not comfortable with. Why do they worship in different mosque from the Hausa muslim? It shows they are second class human /muslims to Hausa muslims and as such cannot have a voice of their own. Too bad.
In christianity we worship in any church of our choice, no discrimination. Yoruba churches are still progressing in Igboland despite the IPOB nonsense. |

Igbo Group to PMB
The Igbo National Council (INC) accuses the Buhari-led administration of abandoning the southeast region
- President of the council, Chilos Godsent, says the current government has abysmally failed the southeast due to marginalization of the zone
- Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state urges President Muhammadu Buhari to seek re-election in 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari would have to pick his vice president from the southeast zone to get the support of people from the region if he decides to run for a second term in the 2019 election, the Igbo National Council (INC) has said.

President of the council, Chilos Godsent, in a statement in Owerri stated that the condition was born from the fact that the region had been neglected by the Buhari-led administration, Vanguard reports.
He said zoning of the APC vice president ticket to southeast was the only compromise the region would accept to back Buhari’s second term.
The Igbo National Council INC has long x-rayed the performances of PMB and also the fulfillment of their campaign promises to Southeast region,” the president of the council said.
“The INC is of the view that the PMB-led federal government has abysmally failed the southeast due to marginalization of the zone by the government.”
“Consequently, INC’s condition for the South East to support PMB for second term is that APC should zone its Vice President ticket to South East.”

Meanwhile, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state, who was elected on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP), on Thursday, November 9, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to seek re-election in 2019.
The Punch reports that Umahi said this in an interview with State House correspondents during his visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, ahead of Buhari’s visit to Ebonyi, scheduled for next week.
NAIJ.com gathered that when asked if the president had confided in him that he would run for president again, Umahi said since it was his own desire to seek a second term as governor, he also wished the president to do the same thing.
