The Thread Topic Should Be " Letter To Wealthy Nigerian Parents "
There are lots of people suffering out their, simply because our leaders failed us. Ever wonder why you won't see the likes of OBJ,ABDUL SALAM,TINUBU,BISI AKANDE,IBB and co in borno/where there's problem in this country but only see them where they share millions of NAIRA. Who's fooling who? My mum didn't step on any airport till she was 50+ simply because she can't afford the damn airplane ticket, so how do you expect such a woman to lavish money on her kids? I attended govt schools from my primary to the university. Never attended private school just because my parents can't afford the fees. I started doing odd jobs when I was 13-14. From selling drinks in the traffic, worked in some many block industries. Yet,someone out there loot(ed) so much money that he even send his kids to study abroad and you the article writer think you know things about Nigeria. I still have lots of things to say but............ |

Politics › Re: Speaker: South West Is Asking For Too Much — Dansadau by horlabiyi(m): 10:33pm On May 13, 2015 |
francizy: I remembered vividly that I pointed this out sometimes back, that is before the presidential election but I received insults and curses from you people. Am very much sure you voted for Buhari in the election. Nevertheless, lemme tell you that I've had experiences, when I say experiences, I mean first hand experiences from the northerners and I can say it openly that most people that screamed change from Lagos have not been to or thought about going to the north.
I spent five (5) years schooling there. I know what I saw, even at the level of ordinary departmental elections were turned around and all posts occupied by them, even with large number of Christians in my school then. The lecturers had an election on who to be the next VC, and Northern Christian from that state won the election but due to the protest within the school and the almajiri protest outside the school, this man was denied that post and it was handed over to a "born to rule". To them, this election wasn't about change, it was about them, North and their religion. They don't care if Nigeria burns to ashes, unless of course they are at the top.
Mind you also that I experienced the 2011 post election violence, another violence after some bomb blasts occurred in churches on a Sunday and I was almost killed by one bomb blast on my way to school. So I've been there and I've seen it all.
The drill here is, since you guys aligned with them, you have to just make up your mind to take whatever comes your way. If they deny you people all posts, then take it with good faith, but if they give you any, also take it with good faith. The end will justify the means.
Also, don't expect too much from them, else you may find yourself sitting on a hot stove.
Peace man. don't get it wrong man,I've never and will never vote for any bloody cattle rearer thinking Nigeria politics should be decided and dictated by them. It's just because you don't know me offline, I'm a good supporter of GEJ even after the elections, you can check my comments on political threads/topic on here to confirm it. |
Politics › Re: Speaker: South West Is Asking For Too Much — Dansadau by horlabiyi(m): 6:46pm On May 13, 2015 |
ILIDEFI: Sambo and Tambuwal are both from the north west.
Even though I'm not happy that the south west teamed up with the north to wrestle power from GEJ, I still prefer a south westerner to be the Speaker. The north can't just have 3 out of the 4 topmost offices in Nigeria. It's not fair. I'm personally very pissed with this northern dominance, and I think it's high time Igbos put away their differences with the Yorubas, so that the south can unite together just like the north and fight our common northern enemy. exactly what we need to do. We need to unite to stop the " born to rule " mallams. I will never vote for a northerner |

I stopped reading the whole thing where they fool said the north should DECIDE and DICTATE the politics of NIGERIA. They are just scamming us with the six geo-political zone thingy. We have 3 major tribes Yoruba,Igbo and Hausa. Where was he when both Sambo and Tambuwal became VP & S.HOR, are they not northerners? Yes,but they will say they are not from the same geo-political zone which is a pure scam to deceive other tribes. |
