Thank you for your feedback. we are trying both (express entry and study) it is just that IELTS has been jaming us . we just decided to look at another way possible. I will await other gurus' feedback. adeenzo: It's possible but there are so many mitigating factors. 1. for you to have a work permit, a company (LMIA) in Canada must have given you an employment letter before you even begin the work permit process. 2. It might count against your husband when it comes to family ties in his home country, it is better he goes alone so that he has you (his wife) and if you guys have kids, as his family ties to comply him to coming back 3. My overall advice is that you guys should try the express entry, it might be a better route for you.
Please wait for the gurus in the house to give more inputs |

TOdus18: I wrote the IELTS exam yesterday Mehn! It was tough. Sadly I got distracted in the listening and missed some questions. I'm so angry with myself. As for the writing, it was a race against time. I didn't have time to correct errors. I could see them but we had already been asked to drop our pencils. I think I did well in the reading aspect while the speaking was just okay. I wrote with MOD/IDP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that I scale through. I also wrote the test. At this point I'm just hopeful I wrote with BC. Is there any difference between MOD/IDP/BC |

Chinemeze17: Good morning everyone, please can someone help me, I have a question, I'm trying to create a Wes profile and I want to know if I should use my maiden name as it appears on my certificates or my name now as it appears on my passport to avoid discrepancies. Use the name on your passport. And you can later send your change of name evidence. |

Berle: Hello All. I Just want to be sure that I picked the right NOC for my job role. I'm a chartered accountant with a bachelor's degree but my job responsibilities align more with NOC 1311 than NOC 1111. Hope this wouldn't be an issue as the minimum qualification for NOC 1311 is lower( high school degree). Please see responsibilities as stated on my reference letter. • Ensure proper documentation of invoices and payment vouchers and issue cheques/cash for all due invoices, employee salaries and statutory payments. • Prepare and input journal entries for all cash related functions on the accounting software. • Filing of monthly withholding tax deductions to the relevant tax authorities for tax deducted at source from vendor payments. • Preparation and filing of monthly Pay-as-you-earn tax and pension contributions for employees with the appropriate authorities. • Complete tax forms and provide tax records for prompt filing of employee and company annual tax returns. I also have this concern. pls Let me know which one you eventually go for. |

Mamaroon: Oga Bekes, abeg no stress madam and no allow this your beautiful TEF result waste o!
With 467, you can still get ITA if she attempts IELTS even without studying and gets LRWS 6666. This translates to CLB 7 and adds an extra 12 points to you. Just book for her and coax her to write it...buy flowers, do the shopping and cooking for that IELTS weekend and any other thing you know she will appreciate.
If she does it before Feb, you can be at 479, otherwise 474 after birthday too is not bad.
We wives are easier to convince.
All the best sir! Well said... |

For the fact that you will have your children in a sane society and your kids would be educated in nice schools and environment alone would make him wake up. I wish someone can help me talk sense to mine self.. It is easier when you are both on the same page to give each other moral support allowing one person to go through all this is not easy o because you will want him to play his part for ECA, IELTS etc. |

NaijaGoingMaple: Since you're younger, you will be the PA. You both have Masters and more than 3years work experience. It's advisable you both take the IELTS and evaluate your credentials as hubby can contribute additional 30marks with MSc and minimum of LSWR 8777.
Please use the CRS calculator to simulate different scenarios and you'd appreciate that better.

Horlaidey007: Never should you say you have a sister in the UK, since you have filled in your form and you have indicated you have no one in the UK, your story should not change at all.BUT you can say you have some friends tho Make your hotel reservation and do not cancel until you leave the airport. You should also have your return ticket with you and should correspond to the number of days you have filled. hold some cash and your credit card If you are employed you can take your leave approval letter from your company(optional tho but it will cost nothing if you have it with you) if possible self delete you and your sister conversation on WhatsApp just to be on the same side since you have indicated you have got no relations In addition, when asked how you will get to your hotel just say you will be taking a taxi since you have got some cash with you. |

What I’m afraid of is that i get tensed or agitated when I’m being asked questions. Its just my nature but nevertheless i will try my best to be calm when answering questions. Thanks. Also in my application i said I didn’t have any relation in the UK but my sister is picking me up at the airpot. I hope this won’t be an issue when asked who’s picking me up and the relationship between me and the person. |

Because i expect her to hold her credit card with her. In my own experience i was holding 300 pounds and when i was ask how will i pay for my accommodation and all and i said i have my card with me which i will be using to pay as well. But he ask for my card and i showed it to him. And he confirm the name if it March. The amount i put on the form for my budget is £2,000. So i feel you should have this either by cash or in your account because he confirmed i have that funds. Another this is i just made part payment of my hotel reservation and i told him i will balance up with my card when i get to the hotel. justwise: Why that amount? |
