A team of security experts have arrived Nigeria to train operatives and management staff of the newly established National Taskforce on the Prohibition of Illegal Importation/Smuggling of Arms, Ammunitions, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons, and Pipeline Vandalism (NATFORCE).


Director General of NATFORCE, Dr. Baba Mohammed while welcoming the team in Abuja said, it is a record broken that the agency has a privilege of having Israelis available for the capacity building of its operatives.


In a statement which he signed and made available to DAILY POST on Sunday in Abuja, Dr Mohammed, revealed that it is a fulfilment of the agency’s yearning, stating that the job of NATFORCE is a delicate one that all staff need proper training to operate.

He said: “The fulfillment derived could not be overemphasized as a long-awaited delegation from Israel finally arrived at NATFORCE Head office on Thursday the 27th of May, 2021.


“As part of its technology transfer, NATFORCE in addition to local training arrangements has also initiated and concluded arrangements for comprehensive training of its workforce by ETOS Company, a world-renowned International Security Trainer Organization.”

He said the company has trained security personnel across the world including the military, particularly in African continents.

In an event to formally receive the team, the Director-General of NATFORCE in his address explained that ETOS Company can offer the Management Team and Operatives of his organization the professional training they deserve.

He revealed that a Committee has been set up which comprised experienced military retirees and.serving ones deliberate on the date of training commencement, period of duration, venue as well as logistics needed.

NATFORCE boss is optimistic that the training will bring a huge success story to the Federal Government in her bid to combating banditry, illegal arms proliferation, and insurgency in Nigeria.

A video of an erring driver hitting a police officer off the bridge while trying to resist arrest has surfaced online, Reports.

According to the footage Obtained By News Crew, the driver was driving against traffic and was apprehended by security agents which includes LATSMA officials and police officers. In his attempt to flee the scene, the driver in the process hit the police officer who was standing behind his vehicle. The police officer fell off the bridge and into the canal. Thankfully he survived the fall.

The driver became terrified and began to plead for forgiveness.

My wife sent me money from the States on Thursday February 4, 2021 around 9pm, I went to the bank(First Bank) the following day Friday at 8am, on getting to the bank, I filled the RIA form and waited my turn, then I was asked to come forward and submit my form. The lady did her thing and then told me my money was already picked up, I was like how is that even possible, which BVN was used, which ID was used. How can a money that came in my name be picked up by someone else? This people have really scattered me mentally and playing silly games with me. I went into RIA, logged in and checked the details of the transaction only to discover the pick up location is Polaris Bank, Ilorin and I reside in Ikotun Lagos. How can I be in Lagos and someone picked my money in Ilorin. RIA has been contacted and they have requested that the bank send them the form, ID and signature that was used to take the money. RIA is fighting them but i will give them a more bigger fight here cos this is what they always do to innocent citizens. I'm suing both banks and they'd pay dearly for putting me through this unnecessary stress. This should never have happened to begin with. Our banking system isn't trusted anymore, so that means when i leave the country, I can't even put money in my Nigerian bank anymore without fear that the bankers would move the money smh. This is bad! By the time I'm through with them, they'd never do it to another. I have the evidence both from the bank that says my money was already picked up, also have a screenshot saying my money was picked up in polaris bank Ilorin and screenshot of the receipt from RIA in my name. They'd PAY!

My wife sent me money from the states, I got to first bank and requested RIA form, after filling, I waited on the line until it's my turn, then I submitted the form only for the lady to say my money has already been picked up by someone. How is that possible, which documentation was used or which BVN verification was used.

RIA has been contacted and they already lodged in frauds investigation and emailed the bank to request for ID, form and whatever was used to get my money. Please has anyone being in this situation before? RIA did say if they aren't able to provide the information, my money would be returned to me and she also said as long as the money wasn't picked by me, the transaction would be reopened, but I just wanted to know if anyone has being in the same situation before.
