Beauty is an inner phenomenon. Beauty is not in objects or people; not even in the eyes of the beholder. It lies in the heart of every person.

How do we stamp out corruption in Nigeria? It has become a serious cancer in our society.

Corruption is responsible for Nigeria's underdevelopment
Corruption cannot be solved only with legislation. Mass awareness & sense of responsibility to society are necessary too
PoliticsWhy Nigeria Is Repairing Old Oil Refineries Instead Of Building New Ones? by Horus(op): 3:01am On Aug 24, 2022

Why Nigeria is repairing old oil refineries instead of building new ones?

Nigeria is turning to its old, abandoned refineries - after the cost of importing fuel rose $9bn in three years.
Corruption and neglect have left Africa’s biggest oil producer unable to refine its crude.
Instead, it relies on costly imports of refined petroleum products.

There is always a good end to every problem and only the mere realization of the existence of a problem brings us one step closer to the solution. Nigeria should transform from a country worried about its "brain-drain," to a country that thinks of "brain-gain."

Federal government scholarship, and a Youth
sports ambasadorial contract with innoson cars pepsi or globacom would have been in order
Yes, that's a fantastic idea. We, in this country, still have to rise to the level where other countries are. Sports are not a big priority in families. Icons who have broken barriers and come forward to make sports a career will have to encourage many more youth to do the same.
The Nigerian Olympians can help bring about a change in this mindset. Sometimes children get snubbed when they want to take up sports as a career with parents not supporting their dreams. However, those who are aware and wise will allow children to take up sports as their career

PoliticsRe: See The Most Handsome Governor In Nigeria (pics) by Horus(m): 12:15pm On Aug 22, 2022
Is it just about looking handsome or about the attributes of a leader?. A leader leads by example. He does not just issue orders.
He teaches others how to do things by first doing them himself. A good leader creates leaders, not followers. He takes good care
of those whom he is leading. He delegates responsibility
PropertiesRe: Two Children Die In Lagos Building Collapse by Horus(m):
The menace of building collapse in Nigeria is very alarming and appalling. Building collapse in Nigeria has become the norms and they are easily swept under the carpet whenever it occurs. It is rather unfortunate that both human and economic loss we record each time there is a failure or building collapse is rather humongous. There is also a lot of blame game among professional stakeholders in the industry once failure or collapse of building occur and unfortunately, there is no proper scientific investigation in Nigeria to ascertain the cause of failure or collapse as the case may be in order to avoid any future occurrence. After review, it was discovered that building materials such as reinforcing steel, cement, sand, granite, sandcrete blocks and concrete play huge important role in either the collapse or stability of buildings in Nigeria. The roles of these materials are so vital that they contribute immensely to the collapse of buildings. It was concluded that 10-25% of buildings that collapse in Nigeria are as a result of the use of poor quality building materials.

Racoon:
So Nigeria so much desires a political stabilisation of the surrounding regional countries while this nation itself is enmeshed in multi-faceted ethno-religio-political problems under this useless govt? Have you seen the US will never pursue any foreign policy that is not beneficial to it.

So how does the nations of Chad, Niger Republic, Mali contribute to our development that we are always ready to play the father Christmas big brother roles for? Case of chasing rats when your house is on fire.
Even if you can create peace and stability in Nigeria, you should make sure that a fire from a neighbouring country don't spread to your home

Why. Most arab countries population are 89% migrants. Your hate holds no water. They're richer than what Nigeria can aim to be in the next 70years. Pray your life gets better.
Where was the hate in my message?. You "play ostrich man", you simply want to overlook the Arab racism by refusing to face painful facts or unpleasant truths about most arab countries. The worse is that you are fully aware that today modern slavery is still widespread in Arab states
