Instead of our government to come up with a policy that discourages high birth rate, they keep releasing overpopulation figures on yearly basis. By next year, we may just be told our population has reached 200 million. Isn't overpopulation one of the reasons we now have herdsmen-native clash, when herdsmen have to relocate in their numbers to greener environments since their own native space can't accommodate them all, any longer?

Nigeria is not overpopulated. Is it true that Nigeria and Africa is over crowded and moving towards an unsustainable population level?.
"No. Absolutely not". Overcrowding can be measured by one method only, that is whether there are too many people to fit in the space available. Population density is calculated by dividing the number of people by area. Population density is usually shown as the number of people per square kilometer.The most densely populated continent area in the world is Europe, yes EUROPE, but do Europeans think there are too many people in Europe? Of course not. Do the europeans use the word overpopulation when they talk about the european population?.Of course not. But they believe there are too many African and Asian people in the world. That is not overcrowding that is racism". Why they dont want to use "population control" in Europe when they know that The most densely populated continent area in the world is Europe?.

A joint investigation by UK journalists and a non-profit organisation has unearthed a major scandal involving the sale of the country's largest oil block licence. The OPL 245 oil field -- located on the southern edge of the Niger Delta -- holds an estimated 10 B barrels of crude. Its licence was awarded in 1998 to Malabu Oil and Gas and later sold to Shell and its venture partner Italian giant ENI for $1.3 B. Journalists from the Observer and Finance Uncovered have now discloses that previous government officials benefitted from the sale of the license. The spoils were wired through forex bureaus and two payments of $400 M through JP Morgan in London. Nigeria's anti-graft agency, the EFCC, has filed fresh corruption charges against Shell and ENI for their roles in the scandal. The block is currently owned by the Nigerian government after a temporary court order approved the EFCC's application. Shell and ENI have appealed the order, asking that the field be returned to them.

The project, an iconic Transport Interchange, first in Africa, will feature the consolidation of all 13 city and interstate parks in Oshodi into 3 multi-storey bus terminals.

The three floors, which will be 30, 000 square metres for each terminal, will take care of the parking and passenger demand.
