FlyinNaija: The Nigerian aircraft registry is not attractive. It is the duty of the Nigerian government to make the registry competitive. It's a global economy, you can't force anyone to operate under any registry. There are numerous benefits to registering aircraft in Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Isle of Man etc. The authorities in these countries have gone out of their way to make aircraft ownership and operation stress free. The aviation ministry and the NCAA have no clear policies. The system is too bureaucratic for the highly dynamic world of business aviation.
Bottom line : the problem lies more with the government and it's policies than with the aircraft owners and operators

Caleboha: This is not pure islam! Women are not supposed to expose their faces, show up in public places like these and compete for such mundane things as pageantry. Totally unislamic and a a reflection of the huge influence the west has on muslims. If such modifications are allowed in an albeit hardline religion, women should never be stoned to death again for adultery or whatever. We should start from there. Agent Orange contains high levels of dioxins and everybody should know that these are some of the most toxic chemicals on earth, both carcinogenic and mutagenic (altering genes). As for the US being 'innocent' as they didn't know what the impacts would be, this stuff was sprayed first back in the 1950s and the evidence of its harmfulness was overwhelming even by the 1960s. So the US knew the effect of those chemicals before the Vietnam war. Please research these subjects, unless you are one of those people who refuse to believe anything you read that has been produced by science.

You are confusing Gallons with liters. It is 20 millions Gallons that were sprayed. But 1 Gallon = 4.54 liters
Now do the math: 20 millions X by 4.54 result in more than 80 millions liters

They used it because enemy combatants ie vietcongs,north vietnamese soldiers mastered the act of hiding under the massive forests thereby undermining the American airpower.U S carrier based bombers were not able to hit their target accurately.
Agent orange was meant primarily for clearing the tick forests so that bombers can hit targets accurately.It wasn't a deliberate act to kill civilians.

You have to understand that the (vietcongs), north vietnamese soldiers had the right to hide under the forest, after all they were in their own land contrary to the Americans who were the invaders. The US sprayed a third of the surface of Vietnam with agent orange and targeted volontarly and specifically rice plantations with this chemical, because they knew that rice was the first source of food. They knew very well that the first that will starve to death will be the childrens, so it was a deliberate act to kill by mass starvation with no respect at all for any international conventions
