Fear is one of the most debilitating emotion. If you look up the word for fear you’ll get "phobos, phobia, fear, terror, dread.” Any religious who use the cultivation of fear mislead you. If most preachers, pastor or reverends took the time to research, they’d realize the danger in what they preach by using the cultivation of fear and what they’re putting into the heads of children.

The moslems were also slave traders, even traditional african rulers were massive slave traders and were complicit in the European slave trade. Was it the Christian God working through these lot too?

The foolish hare-brained statements that these duds make can amaze even the greatest cynic.
And your point is?. You seem to believe that your are the first on the planet to talk tu us about the arab slave trade. Yes Islam too was forced on us. The same statment aply to islam too. Since the slave-master is an enemy of the slave, if the slave prays to the same God as the master, he is praying to the God that enabled the slavemaster to enslave him. Therefore, that God is the enemy of the slave or captive just as the slave-master is.

Your usual boring sarcarstic statement. Try to be more creative next time.

Yes christianity was forced on us. Since the slave-master is an enemy of the slave, if the slave prays to the same God as the master, he is praying to the God that enabled the slavemaster to enslave him. Therefore, that God is the enemy of the slave or captive just as the slave-master is.

Revelation 3:14  “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;”

This quote, from the Christian Bible, shows the definite article “the” before Amen. The Koran also uses it as El Mu'min (Koran 23:1, 4:92) in countless places. Both of these mythological religions are subtly giving praise to your Nubian ancestor Amun-Ra, the husband of Mut (photo), Queen of the heavenly skies. (They use his name at the end of their prayers, e.g. amen, and ameen.) His symbol is the sun, the fire of nature. That is causing the skin cancer and eventual elimination of people without melanin, the cursed albino seed (the seed of Canaan; Leviticus 13); and their return into the shadows of the caves.

The deity Amun-Re, a deity that is acknowledged by Jews as Amin, and is mentioned in the Old Testament 22 times, by Christians as Amen, which is mentioned in the New Testament 50 times, and by Muslims as Amiyn, which is mentioned in the Koran 15 times. They all end their prayers in recognition of this great deity, Amun-Re. Furthermore, they all acknowledge the All-Seeing Eye of Ra, the symbol of the sun as a bright star, Star of David (Jews), Star of Bethlehem (Christians), and the Star and Crescent (Muslims). They all call their Yahweh Aluhum, or Thehos God, or Allah Subhaanahu Wa Taala, the light of the heavens and the Earth which is nothing but the sun.

Christianity Etc › Re: How Religion Destroys Spirituality!! by Horus(m): 1:33pm On Jun 12, 2009
Unfortunately, most of the time, belief systems are passing off as spirituality. The moment you believe something, if you believe "this is it", you are bringing a certain degree of rigidity into the very life process that you are. This is not spirituality. The spiritual process is always a quest, a seeking; that is why when you say, "I'm on a spiritual path," you say "I'm a seeker." When you say "I'm religious," you say "I'm a believer." There is a significant difference, because believing means you have assumed something that you do not know; seeking means you have realised that you do not know, which brings an enormous amount of flexibility. Whenever you say, "I do not know something," you are flexible. Whenever you think, "I know it," you become rigid. This rigidity is not just in attitude; it percolates into every aspect of your life. This rigidity in religion is also the cause of an enormous amount of suffering in the world.

Africom to take over Africa

How many of us in Africa know that the US government is planing to take over Africa's wealth and remove by any means all who oppose or don't oppose to get at what ever they think they should have? While every one is glad to see a person of color in the white house (Barack Obama) this is a great deception as part of the plan to continue to go under cover of so-called help to Africa by U.S. military forces to take oil and any thing else without the people of the land receiving anything but death for their land. The code name is "Africom"!  This should be our major concern, there is nothing more pressing at this point in time of our collective history. Don't let yourself and other family members be hoodwinked into continuing to fight a War that is not ours as we have been doing for the past 500 years, helping a enemy destroy what is our own. In 2005 the European Union met in Geneva and decided that they must kill off 300 Million souls or people.  Just who do you think they are talking about??  Meany will perish opposing Africom and other diabolical plans that have been made in secret.

Religions like christianity and islam teach their adherents to worship external gods and that focuses their minds on the outer instead of the inner realm in which the creator truly resides.God is up in the sky,a he,the god of the jews and mohammed, and father of Jesus, etc, etc.
You are right!!. Religion is the banana skin and spirituality is the banana. The misery in the world is because religious people throw away the banana and are holding on to the skin.
Christianity Etc › Re: Did Jesus And The Apostles Paid Tithe? by Horus(m):
Jesus never took from his congregation. He never passed around a basket or tray to receive pledges and donations at the end of each sermon. He never asked for a payment. Nor did he ever tell his disciples to accept money for their assistance as found in Matthew 10:8-10:

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.”

Read cary pefulllease, I suggest too, that you look up the meaning of the word 'rest' in the dictionary. It may have different meanings, and who knows maybe you have understood the plain meaning of it, it happens sometimes. The meaning of the word rest as used in this verse means to do away with working, and what does it further imply, it implies that my God has 'finished' working, think about it, after you have finished your daily assignment what else do you do? you refrain from working, don't you? this is what happened. And mark this that the Bible didn't say "HE THEN RESUMED HIS WORKS ON THE EIGHTH DAY AFTER HE HAD HAD ENOUGH REST" this shows that He has completed His works and after that He refrained.
Also,
In Jeremiah 15:6, He said that He was weary with repenting which means He would no longer repent of his decision 'means He would no longer forgive or overlook because He was tired of their unrighteousnesses. Get it and get it right MY GOD CAN NEVER GET TIRE OR BE TIRED. If you need further explanations please, link up with me on "meetpastorsam@yahoo.com"
@matthew7:7 and @Abuzola

You suggest me look up the meaning of the word 'rest' in the English dictionary. Now, stop and think one second; 2000 years ago the english language was not used. Did your Jesus used the English language?.The bible that you use today is a poor English translation. If you preacher, teacher, minister, pastor or any other religious leader really cared, you would take time out to research the original language, rather than rely on poor english translations. If you knew how to translate from the original language of your bible you will see that the key word  in Aramic (Hebrew) is ya'aph meaning “to be/grow weary, to fatigue, to be faint.”.You have to realise that present day authorities, theologians, philosophers, and so-called linguistics of European birth use several of their own languages to control your mind and entrap you in their definitions. Remember that their first holy book is the Bible or the Koran, and their second and most holy book is their dictionary; with these tools, they rule. They can decide what is true and what is false, and they can make a learnt man, look like a fool, or a liar, because they are unquestionable. The format used is author, authentic, authority. With those three principles, everybody retreats to them to check themselves and their own culture. Whenever you look up the root of a word, and where it originated, you are always led to Greek, French, Old English, Latin, and Arabic. Most of your definitions are coming from these languages. They have you controlled by these languages to keep your mind trapped and make themselves the authorities, the authors, and thus appear to be authentic.

I know I've read somewhere in the bible that God can get tired of reasoning with people who insist on being bull headed.

Not in Genesis though.
Me I can get tired with peoples who try to divert the question. The word rested is used in Genesis 2:2:
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made".

Also, there's no where in the Bible that says that God got three after the 6th !day! Of creation
Three?. When did i used the word three? (dont try to divert the question)

What does it mean for god to get tired? Is tireness applied to god exactly the same as when applied to non-god animals?
This is how the bible makes this sound, God worked a whole six days and now on on the 7th day he rested, God is sitting in his chair, or laying in his bed. A God of this "caliber" should not have the need to rest.

Christianity Etc › Can God Tire? by Horus(op):
Christians believe that a Supernatural being called '' God '' or some kind of '' God '' waved his hand and created the earth and everything in it , In 6 days , and on The 7th Day He Rested '' Slept ''. Right!!. So you mean to say that after working only six days of 24 hours each , your all mighty God got tired ? What foolishness. Can God tire?. Genesis 2:2 says that God “rested” meaning that he actually ceased, desisted or stopped doing his job. . . . If this is true this would make the God of the Bible in need of a refreshment which means he could be fatigued or weakened.

According to Isaiah 40:28 of the Old Testament, the God of the bible does not get tired:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. The key word in this quote is “fainteth” which in Aramic (Hebrew) is ya'aph meaning “to be/grow weary, to fatigue, to be faint.” It says that God “fainteth not.” Which one is it?.

Later on in Jeremiah 15:6 the same Aramic word ya'aph is used for fainteth and it says that God does get tired:

Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting. In one instance God is tired and in another he isn’t. Which one is it?. Can God tire?

C2H5OH:
horus, don't you think you're preaching off course?   this is about being born gay, not sexual harassment.
I didnt talked about sexual harassement, i was talking about people who fear for a dormant gay personality inside themselve. This is also the case for some people, they feel that they are gays but dont want to agree with this fact.
Christianity Etc › Re: Could It Really Be That A Person Can Be Born Gay? by Horus(m): 9:33pm On Jun 05, 2009
A man should not be intimidated by a homosexual. By that I mean, those people who set out to preach “fire and brimstone,” the beating and harassing of homosexuals and lesbians, in most cases are people that fear for a dormant personality that might come forth from themselves. If you are sure about your manhood or womanhood, then you should have no fear of socializing or befriending a person with different sexual preferences than you. The very fear is a confession that if you were to socialize with a homosexual or lesbian you’re afraid you might become a homosexual or a lesbian.
