Christianity Etc › Re: Terror/terrorism In The Bible by Horus(m): 3:04am On Jun 01, 2007
Deuteronomy
Chapter 2
32-37

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. 36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us.
So Moses and his army killed women and children. Moses broke the 6th commmandment, thou shall not kill ANYONE. Or I see, when its in war it okay? Yet when Muslims say the 6th commandment is followed, but in war its different, Christians say nooooo. Either way, The Quran does not say kill women and children, I CHALLENGE ANY CHRISTIAN TO BRING THE VERSE RIGHT NOW. We see it in your Bible, one of your greatest prophets killing women and children by God's permission, meaning Jesus allowed it! So hence Jesus was responsible for killing women and children, and so was Moses so according to the Christians own argument, Moses cannot be a prophet since he killed. Note Moses and his army did this to many cities, verse 37 says there was not one city which was strong enough in the plural sense, hence up to 6 or 7 cities were destroyed with its women and children? What is the Christian responsehuh?

How long would religion last if there was no special profit in it for those who carry on religious propaganda??.Millions of priests, preachers, bishops, nuns, sisters, monks, secretaries, evangelists, and others of higher or lower degree derive their living from the continual life of the religions they preach. Most of these people have very easy lives. They are usually fat and well kept, wear good clothes, and have special benefits. They work together like a vast political machine. It is to their personal advantage to work for the religion which supports them.

Because the bad and the ugly "virtues" hidden in the Bible are not talk about by the priest and the clergy. They focus on how to not make you think and surrender your God given power without a fight. They focus on the financial survival of the church and the political influence it wields over the masses. Any attempt to discuss or question these vices is met with threats of damnation, blasphemy, excommunication and the accussation of "devil- possessed"and even death.

Horus, i will need you to answer this, are you a Christian or not
Not Chirstian and Not Muslim.Religion is ignorance. The word ignorance means to ignore the facts, however, when you ignore the facts, you breed beliefs; and that’s just what they (religious teachers) have, all belief and no facts. When you believe in something, you are accepting things without knowing. To break the spell of ignorance or belief, you must have knowledge: knowledge of the root of any subject. The people of old overstood how the language was shaped, and how it grew because they knew the roots. Then evil people set in to rip the plant from its root like goats (the symbol of Sama'EL) rip plants from the root, to kill the crop.

The presence of Fanatics on Nairaland, show that our people have then been trained to react to EMOTIONAL themes, forced to internalize alleged History of mythical chosen people, But it is time to rise above unoriginal theologies and research our True History, which is far beyond the Hebrew-Judeo-Christian-Islamic traditions.Male chauvinistic Murder imperialistic cults have proven to be tools for our pacification. The framework of these beliefs prevents our African minds complete development and reconnection with the dynamism of the Universe.

Yes Churches and Mosques should be taxed.Church leaders accept tithes in the name of God. They'll say “God needs your help building the church, ” What does god need with a multi-million dollar churchhuh Nothing. These are the same so-called church leaders that you'll find riding in fancy cars, eating the best foods, living in expensive homes and living the life of wealthy people while their followers scrape and struggle to do “God's will” by tithing. These so-called leaders will lead congregations in the worse of the worse neighborhoods and on their way to church to preach on Sundays or Saturdays or whatever day they declare to be the Sabbath, they will step over the homeless or the less fortunate.

Religion has historically been a source of wars and persecution in all part of the world. It is clear that religious fundamentalism of any kind, the Christian, Muslim or Jewish faiths, feeds on insecurity, a profound need by individuals to be part of a protective community, a wish to get back into the womb and to keep the frightening reality out of our field of vision. Thus it is perfectly understandable that in today’s world, which is more than ever filled with insecurity and easily turned to hysteria, masses of people will embrace fundamentalism as their final hope and protection from what they label as evil, protection from the reality of an explosive world. However, what inevitably happens is that fundamentalism turns into profiteering by calculating opportunists who care for nothing other than self-promotion.Religion is in the service of imperialism. There have been times, of course, when both Muslim and Christian armies have forcefully tried to conquer virgin lands, acting in the service of secular governments. Religion is bound to be seen as an effective tool by governments who put up a façade of piety – or stay quietly in the background while colonial missionaries reach out to conquer in the name of their God.

Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)

Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)
Christianity Etc › Re: 101 Clear Contradictions In The Bible by Horus(m): 5:47pm On May 30, 2007
Genesis 2:2 says that God “rested” meaning that he actually ceased, desisted or stopped doing his job. . . . If this is true this would make the God of the Bible in need of a refreshment which means he could be fatigued or weakened.
According to Isaiah 40:28 of the Old Testament, the God of the bible does not get tired:
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
The key word in this quote is “fainteth” which in Aramic (Hebrew) is ya'aph meaning “to be/grow weary, to fatigue, to be faint.” It says that God “fainteth not.” Which one is it??
Later on in Jeremiah 15:6 the same Aramic word ya'aph is used for fainteth and it says that God does get tired:
Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
In one instance God is tired and in another he isn’t. Which one is it?? . . . You must understand that you can’t begin to define “God” as you know him because he is “The All.”

He was married.
The wedding of Yashu’a Bar Maryam (aka Jesus son of Mary) took place in Cana in Galilee. The reception was in Bethany at Yashua’s own house. The reason why it was not recorded was because the Essenes vowed celibacy. It would’ve been a travesty to hear that one of their own had defected and married other that with the approval of the Rabb – the head of the order – for the sole purpose of reproduction.Bethany is where he lived with Martha, Lazarus, and his wife Mary Magdalene after the wedding. When he defected from the Essene’s village, Lazarus, his student, took him in. This was many years before he knew that he would marry Lazarus’ sister.
Nothing to do with Da Vinci, but Facts,he was married.

In spite of what the Christians preach, if the Messiah Jesus was to return today, in the image that he is portrayed, he would not be accepted by the masses of the people. They have depicted him as a Caucasian revolutionary middle-aged man dressed in hippie clothes, talking about love and peace for everyone. People would consider him as being crazy (as they said about the hippies of the 60’s) or try to kill him because he would be a threat to the devil’s economic success.
Money is the concern at hand, not the salvation of your soul.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christians And Politics by Horus(m): 3:29am On May 30, 2007
Christianity is the broad term applied to the doctrines and values which its adherents claim to have originated from pagan sources, and which have been propagated ever since it was first organized in the year 300 AD in Rome. It has always been a great influence on the lives of millions of people all over the world.
Politics as defined in Webster’s New World Dictionary as: factional scheming within a group. What, you may ask, does politics have to do with Christianity? If you closely examine its history and heroes, you will find facts saying that this fabricated religion is nothing but politics. It has been the vehicle that enables the evil one (Azazl) to pursue and reach his political aims. The proof is that everywhere the doctrine of Christianity has been propagated, its recipients became the subjects of that nation which sponsored the teachers. From that point onward, every facet of their lives was governed by and according to the whims of that nation.
Christianity Etc › Re: Easter Has Pagan Origins by Horus(m): 3:21am On May 30, 2007
The truth is that those so-called wise and prudent theologians know absolutely nothing about the so-called resurrection simply because it never happened. Easter, or the celebration of the resurrection, is merely a tradition, a tradition that you have been taught from childhood, and coming into maturity you have accepted it because that is what you were taught. That is what you read bout. That is what your parents made you observed every Easter Sunday. Thus, you continued to go along with it and before you knew it, you had carelessly assumed what you now believe without question or proof. Easter is the feast of feasts celebrated in honor of the risen Christ. You have even reached the point where you will defend vigorously and emotionally your belief, a belief that can lead you straight to hell.
It has become human nature to flow with the stream, and to go along with the crowd, to believe and perform like those around you. And, even when you stumble on the truth, you will not believe because like the majority of the people, you stubbornly refuse to believe what you are unwilling to believe. There is an old saying that says:He who is convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

The Jehovah's Witnesses racist message and racism that white is good, and brown, red, and yellow are bad is quite blatant. With more than two million Jehovah's Witnesses, of multi races and nationalities that are a part of the organization, why aren't any of the prophets, prophetesses, princes, princesses, priests, Adam and Eve, Jesus, or pharaohs of a different race than Caucasian? Moreover, please don't say that it doesn't matter because if it didn't, then they all wouldn't be Caucasians. Moreover, if it really didn't “matter” you wouldn't have made any pictures at all!

Questions for Bible Readers,Reverends, Pastors, Ministers, Deacons, etc. They (religious leaders) should give reasonable, sensible answers. In-all they are the ones who are guiding souls.

       Christians

1-Who named God?
2-Are the mansions in heaven that the righteous are to live in similar to those here on Earth? (John 14:2)
3-Exactly how were the sons of God able to conceive children with the daughters of men? (Genesis 6:1-4)
4-According to Christianity, If Jesus was destined to die at 33 years old, why was he running for his life?
5-If the Egyptians were so bad, why did God order Joseph to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt?
6-Who were the people that Cain was afraid would kill him, if no one else was in the planet other than his mother, father and himself? (Genesis 4:14)
7-Why would God defend Cain after he murdered his brother? (Genesis 4:15)
8-If God so loved the world, why didn't he come himself instead of sending his only begotten son? (John 3:16)
9-Who are the sons of God spoken about in Genesis 6:2-4 if Jesus was the only begotten son of God? (John 3:16)
10-Why doesn't the Bible teach humans about survival?
11-Why won't the creator of all just change all the evils of the world by simply waving the same "hand" that he used to create this world and write the 10 commandments with? (Exodus 34:1)
Christianity Etc › Re: Was There A World Before Genesis 1? by Horus(m): 1:32am On May 30, 2007
Genesis is not humanity’s start
Within many religious sects the first scroll is interpreted as Genesis, but in the Aramic (Hebrew) language it translates to “barashith.” The word barashith comes from the root word bara – meaning, “to reconstruct, or reconstruction.” In Ashuric/Syraic (Arabic), bara also means “to make” or “reconsruct” Not only is the word Genesis misinterpreted, the title of the scroll is translated incorrectly as “Sefer Maaseh Barashith,” “The Book of Creation.” However, the Aramic word ciphra means “scroll” and the correct translation should be "The Scroll of Reconstruction."The title of the Scroll of Barashith in itself confirms the fact that Genesis is a recording of the reconstruction of the planet Earth, and replenishing of man, the refilling of Earth and not the original creation.

Let's ignore this Fanatic Chirstian SUICIDE BOMBPOSTER (he will recognise himself grin) and let's come back to the Topic.
Fanatics are suffering from Religious Blindness.
Religious blindness prevents Biblical and Koran scholars, and those that follow them, whether they are of the Judaic, Christian, or Islamic persuasion, from daring to pursue reality. To do this would mean venturing into the unknown, which is something most people fear. People base their whole lives on religion and it’s so-called facts. It’s a known fact that the old and new Testament, and the Koran were taken from ancient tablet carvings from the walls in the Cuneiform language of an ancient group of people, called the Shumarian (Sumerians). In a place the bible calls Shinar (Genesis 10:10)
Christianity Etc › Re: What Do You Feel About Black Jesus? by Horus(m): 8:33pm On May 29, 2007
@WALES
Well, may be black or white Jesus it all have to do with our faith.
Ok!,Let's before look at some points in your Bible. You just said that you have faith in your Bible.Right !!Ok.After these subliminal pictures of a white Jesus have been stamped in the minds of our children, we have to make this a full time effort to explain what Jesus looked like and we must all agree on one story and one picture. As it stands now whenever our children see a black picture or drawing of Christ they are forced to say, “look mommy a black Jesus.” That is because in their sub-conscious mind Jesus is white. It is the same as a black Santa Claus.
The truth of the matter is that God doesn’t have a color he appears in. Yet,the Son of God does. Revelation 1:14-15 further describes Jesus’ hair texture which is like lamb’s wool as well as in 1 Corinthians 11:14 where it states that it is a shame for a man to have long hair. This goes to show you that the image of Jesus with long hair could not be the true image of the true Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Do You Feel About Black Jesus? by Horus(m): 7:54pm On May 29, 2007
We know what color the Bible say he is. He is of a dark complexion and his hair is wooly. Jesus lived in a hot nation where the sun shined bright everyday. So what!?The bottom line is we as non-whites live with lies that Jesus is white for most of our lives, but as soon as we non-whites want to portray Jesus as a man of color the non-blacks get upset about it. Whose sensitive now? Are you scared we are going to take Jesus from you? You are in denial except the fact that Jesus was brown skinned!
