Romance › Re: Why Do Most Women Prefer Having Men As A Friend/confidant Rather Than Ladies? by Hotstepper(f): 5:02pm On Apr 22, 2006
this defines me ohhhhhhhhhhh, I love to keep male friends that female friends cuz am into male's world. Maybe cuz I grew up with four boys , even amongest my cuzzin, am closer to my male ones than I am to my female ones. Infact, ma closest cuzzin(male) knowz evertyhing about me and he knwoz everything about me and yes, we discuss everything.

Coming to my male friends, I havem't dated any yet and won't dare do that. We are friends and I know all their gurlsfriends, dat is the ones that do have. Men are like straight forward and hardly hard wat thay feel about eachother unlike gurl who would prefer to gossip, have their own crew etc, I am very open minded and straightward person so relating to gurl sumtimes ain't it. I have a female cuzzin like me dat have more of male friends than female tongue but hm,, still hang out with ma gurlssssssss
Travel › Re: Nigerians In The Diaspora: Subtle Messages When You Visit by Hotstepper(f): 4:29pm On Apr 22, 2006
yes ooooo, in 2004 I went, It was hilarious, hahaha and am da kind of person that laughs alot so you can imagine. The 1st time I spoke was in lagos and every1 turned and looked at me and started asking questions. I had 2 speak IGBO dere and den not minding the might be yorubaz or hausa etc. I told them I came 4rom Enugu for hols in Lag. and they didn't believe saying I look diff., talks diff. etc and hmmmm am very light 2 so dat made it worst. I was refered 2 as "WHITE GURL", At a point, the boys would wanna toast you you know and they would be forcing tryna have sum stupid accent and it made it worst cuz it became harder for me 2 understand.

Back in ma villa, the people there would speak english to me and I would respond back in igbo to make them be aware that I can understand and speak but still they still wanna speak english. most of them time itz funny cuz itz like they are forcing it out. The worst part was during ma mom's trad. marriage, the MC came to me and wanted 2 ask me wat I feel about the occassion. he was like " so how do u feel about your mother's funeral?", am like hmmmmmmmmmmm itz my mom's trad. marriage. I know he made the mistake cuz he was speaking english when it came 2 ma turn unlike other people he interviewed.

Yes ooooo, they alwayz watch CNN and CHANNEL 0 tongue

9ja is a krazy place and can't wait 4 diz xmas, funnnnnnnnnnnnnn

cuz they just use the ones here and go home nad get married to the ones there. one of da reasons been that girls raised back home are more homely and therefore make 'better' wives in African context. Also, they can control those ones etc

one thing u have to know is that u.s is very racist unlike canada, the country is very liberal and gat one of the best welfare and immigration policies in the world. Imagine how u got your PR, you're lucky girl. Americans come 2 Canada to live and get citizenship because it is one of the respected countries in the world.

It is not backward anything, seeing is believing, I have alot of my friends come here and even cuzzins for the 1st time to see what canada looks like, they didn't want 2 go again and they visit often now, That is is quiet as in not known for sum stupid things like u.s does not mean it is backward, itz very clean and peaceful

come and see for yourself because one man's meat is another man's posion, u feel anywhere in the world living in canada esp. toronto because canada is da most diversed country in da world making toronto da most diversed city in the world.

dunno why people only think that private skools are for rich people tongue some people are rich but might not want their kids to go to a private school. 80 percent of people per se that goes to a fed. skool comes from a wealthy background. They just prefer their kids to go 2 a boarding skool than to be a day student. My skool, we even have minister's children 2 mention a few, not just federal skool but people tend to send their children to boarding school for reasons known to them.
