there are so much hues and cries about the volatility of all muslim ticket in Nigeria, as a yoruba xtian, i am bold to say that majority of my fellow yoruba xtians don't even know Fashola is a muslim. they see him as performance personified hence his being an achiever and intellectual is more pronounced than his religious inclination. the result of my findings and interactions is that SW is a wrong place to play politics of religion bcuz almost all families are evenly distributed along religious lines , hence they see you first as a yoruba man before your religion.
hence a Buhari/Fashola in the SW is seeing as North/Yoruba ticket and it will surely fly.

My dear , you will not say this if a christian/christian ticket is proposed . For avoidance of doubt , I live in lagos and the work done by Fashola is not anywhere compared to the amount of money available to him . Most of the funds are stolen and press controlled by SW looks the other way . For instance , Amaechi said he used 1.4B to fight Ebola in Rivers ,an APC controlled state and the press found nothing wrong in it.Just like the Federal goverment has failed to provide power and security to Nigerians , Fashola has also failed to resolve the traffic gridlock in Lagos ,which is the major problem lagosians battle with everyday of their life . There is more propaganda than performance in Fashola .

I have history of refusals based on some reasons that has nothing to do with Fraud or forged document . Can sb pls let me know what next to do

If the LPR petitioner is a spouse (not a fiance), the current wait time (from when the petition is documentarily complete and approved by the National Visa Center) is just over two years. The petition is the I-130 and the visa category is F2A.

LOL , He is working in the US . I have heard that if he files for me , is going to take a very long time . Now, I want to go and do my MSC and also stay with him while He waits to become a US citizen , what are my chances given the fact that I am not also applying with family fund

davidgunther: I will not like to say the outcome but if they get to know that a person lied about having a husband who is a permanent resident (green card holder) then that might lead to automatic rejection. I think it just depends on individual case and they might not even ask about. I remember my cousin telling me some year ago that a guy was told that until his wife who lives in the US come back to Nigeria, he can never get a student visa to the US.

zeezahbee: low chance, you more like a potential immigrant because your wife is a permanent resident, if she has filed for you, your chances becomes so low and you will be asked to go wait and get a k1 (spouse visa). the choice is yours, you can give it a try. goodluck

Hello Guys , I have a wife in the US with a residence permit and i want to apply for a visit Visa . What chances do i stand . She has a good Job over there and i am currently working in one of the Telcoms company in Nigeria with a salary of 350k . A lot of her friends are willing to send invitation letter with offer to offset my bills . I am also capable of picking up my bills . I have only traveled to the UAE and UK before .

the motorist was arrested for breaking laws and immediately the lastma man entered d vehicle, the motorist brought out his purse and counted some amount of money, he gave it to the officer and after counting the officer returned it claiming it wasn't enough.

in the court of law, the officer will simply deny d allegation, he will claim never to ask for d money and that he only collected it to make sure of d motorist intention to bribe his way out. he didn't pocket d money.

@op, and who told you , you can even withdraw the money . The bank might be trying to trap you by luring you to the bank . They might have placed a post no debit on the account . What that means is that you can not withdraw that money even if it is in your account. I plead with you in the name of anything you worship , go and alert the bank . If it is possible , do that in writing and let the customer service officers acknowledge you letter and also keep a copy in case yawa gas later . With the kind of advice I have seen here , I really pity the Nigerian youth . Our so called corrupt leaders are far better than the crooks I have seen here .

Gbawe: Even health insurance is unlikely to give the "common man" access to this sort of hospital. I would not have bothered commenting on the deception of the OP, because that is what GEJ fans do in their quest to 'steal' achievements, but reasonable posters like you deserve to know the truth.

This is a Turkish private hospital purely for the rich and an example of the capitalist 'reform' of medicine that globalisation has brought. I.e a business model that essentially see any group , if professional and organised, setting up ultra-modern and well-staffed hospital anywhere in the world exclusively for the patronage of the rich.

This is precisely the same as how the previously uber traditional and conservative British NHS has embraced a new agenda of delivering outreach medical care in places like Dubai, Qatar et al for ridiculously rich clients who will pay a fortune for local treatment they previously travelled to the UK for. This model is not for ordinary Nigeria and has nothing to do with the Government.

This is a hospital, with origin in Turkey, built on a model which is as private and as elitist as such is. It is primarily situated in Abuja to take advantage of the super-rich who travel abroad to pay a fortune for treatment. Check out the medical staff yourself to see it is like 70% Turkish.
