Nice piece by Soludo the Economist . I still wonder in spite of the said achievements of OBJ, we are still struggling with power, rail, agric, petrol supply. What infrastructure did he put in place in his 8 yrs rule. GEJ stepped on toes and they are fighting back .
Tibins: General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and former Vice Presidential candidate under the Congress for Progressive Change, Pastor Tunde Bakare has likened the leading opposition party, All Progressives Congress to the Church of Satan in a parable.
Tunde Bakare said, “APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a Pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly Church and hence could be mistaken for a real Church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers), that is why they ganged up against Local Government fiscal Autonomy using crumbs from stolen accumulated wealth to bribe their thievery colleagues at Federal and State house of Assembly.
“It is very clear that the 5 Governors of APC in the west is far richer than their state and they have looted every penny from their state purse. People should be careful of this Rogues,” he added.
abbey621: The sad truth is 80% of you on here don't even have a voter's card. The same 80% are jobless and/or still depending on others for survival. One would think you fools would have learned your lessons from 2011 but it seems you were made for suffering. Most of you when you compare your life 5 year ago to now, you can't see any form of improvement. I know the truth is bitter but it just had to be said, Nigerian youths are cowards, afraid of change and incapable of a revolution; that is why the old ones keep coming up with useless policies which have no benefit whatsoever. You can shout GEJ till 2019 all you want but that does not hide the fact that your lives are becoming worthless more and more, before you know it most of you would be in the 30s or 40s with no accomplishment. Forget unemployment, forget bad roads, forget poor electricity and so on, all that matters is that GEJ has PHD and that PHD makes him a great president....FOOLS!
Oga I have seen some improvement in my life in some areas
(1) I flew in from US in one of my trips and landed in Enugu straight (2) I boarded a decent train from Enugu to port-harcout (3) I never queued in any petrol station for PMS. It always a drive thru (4) I have more light compared to what it was 5 yrs ago (5) A brother of mine was one of the winners of the YOUWIN program and his life has changed for good (6) The so many check point i see between Lagos and ORE has gone too (7) what I saw going on in lagos-ibadan express road and Benin Ore road was wonderful ( I did not sleep in Ore as used to be the case (9) I do not need to go to bank everyday , cashless policy is the way to go from the comfort of my house (10) For the first time in Nigeria , I saw politicians begging for the masses vote and not the endorsement of one Godfather
However , other areas of my life has remained miserable
(1) I still wake up by 4am to go to work and may not return till 9pm in lagos (2) My Landlord has increased my house rent (3) I do not still have water in my house in Lagos (4) Small boys still come to cut my window net in the night looking for phones (5) A new set of robbers have emerged in Oworo almost every night as you descend from the Bridge (6) I can no longer board the BRT buses , the have become worse than Danfo (7)The light rail project seems like an endlless project ( Bad roads makes me visit my mechanic almost every weekend (9) My tax has just been increased in the office without any corresponding thing to show for it. (10) Area boys have gone out of control in Lagos
PDP I hate talks , go and do your grand work and leave the talk to APC . That is what the specialize in and you cannot beat then to propaganda politics
cramjones: Reading your comments makes me wonder about the kind of sperm your dad took to produce you? Could it have been an expired sperm? Maybe. Your country is slipping towards destruction and you caution someone that calls black black. Go meet your daddy to apologize to you for injecting your mama with some spoiled sperm. Your brain would not have contained the level of pus it contains now if your dad did a better job. Now bugger off this thread!

is obvious you lake respect and was trained how to talk with insults . But I will not descend to your level.
please I need someone to confirm which political party that Olusola Israel Adekunle belongs to . I hope the video making rounds on this man is not true and why is it not on Nairaland yet.
Avedon: They GEJ lead federal government have the capacity and resources to transform Nigeria but instead they chooses to shield corrupt individuals and promote impunity.
100% of those supporting the present administration on ths forum are bellow 30yrs of age and think ths the best life the could get. And those that saw yesterday are supporting the administration blindly or based on selfish interest.
We all resented Abacha's junta with It's evil policies but It's 100% better than present administration.
Gej have taken Nigeria into a dungeon of religion, ethnic and sectional abyss but God will not allow the labour of our nation founding father's to capsize.
I pray God will strengthen the advocates of change.
God bless Nigeria.
can we have the toal amount your Governor has received and how he has been able to turn your state into London ? I also need the name of your LGA chairman and his performance in the office .
I think is time , the FG licensed more airlines to use the Enugu international airport . This would have saved this woman from all this thieves maintained by LASG in the name of political thugs

1. "..If I'm voted into power, within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement, and if I can't improve on power within this period, it then means I CANNOT DO ANYTHING EVEN IF I AM THERE FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS" - Goodluck Jonathan, Vanguard newspaper, 2011 http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/02/i-ll-not-contest-2015-election-jonathan
3. “The excesses of Boko Haram must stop. That is the decision of this present government now. It must stop, whatever it will cost the government, it must stop. The military intervention in the affected states is going on well. There is no human rights abuse and there is no collateral damage with regards to security of individuals. I am optimistic that with the level of success already being recorded, the emergency rule in the affected states may not last up to the six months stipulated by the Constitution,” Goodluck Jonathan, 2013 http://www.punchng.com/news/boko-haram-must-be-defeated-at-all-costs-jonathan/
4. "I believe that the kidnap of these girls will be the beginning of the end of terror in Nigeria. We will surely bring their daughters back." President Goodluck Jonathan on Chibok girls May 2014 http://m.bbc.com/news/world-africa-27328003
you may think you are insulting GEJ until you leave that Naija to other countries and what damage your propaganda has done to all Nigerians overseas . Am sure so many politicians including Fashola made promises like that , that is even if you have any video evidence that GEJ made such promises. we can no longer rely newspaper propaganda to judge people.
dablazor: more of this from the international community please!... i never wanted Buhari to rule our great nation... but right now, he would be a better alternative. beggars are not choosers
you think you are insulting GEJ . You will leave that naija one day to discover that people don;t wash their dirty linen in public. Worst things happen in other countries, but they seldom make the kind of comments you guys make and come out to cry of racism and stigmatism . Continue oooo
Maple: It matters not to me who opposes or accepts that charade called Confab, my number 1 priority is to vote out GEJ come 2015.
if GEJ did not reform electoral processes . you will be singing a different song. At least he gave you a voice to decide who rules you . Now say thank you to GEJ.
courage54: Pls don't try to derail the topic. When he was sick u all were jubilating now that is back u are saying somtin else. All ur past and present PDP governors can not withstand him in terms of achievement.
I thought APC has finished building world class hospitals in their state . Why is he still going abroad for treatment ?
