one way to look at it tho is that before marriage, she is trying to please, to like them and to be liked. she's more tolerant and wld at all cost avoid any confrontations

after marriage, she cant keep up the pretences esp if she cldnt stand them in the first place. . .

Many factors can influence a woman to choose to be a single parent. . .

such as growing up in an abusive home or just being too indpendent to want to get married,

some women do choose but others are forced into it, it all depends on their life experiences and their background

guys don't like being threatened and u may have just set many unwanted events in motion

u hav two options
u can either wait and see if he comes back, bear in mind that if he doesnt, it doesnt necessarily mean he doesnt care, his ego may get in the way

the other option is for u to call him and apologise but also get him to make it clear if he was really breaking up with u  or just reacting to your ultimatum. . .

u've placed yourself in an awkward position so u need to be calm and level headed and be careful whatever u do
loose all the irrational outbursts and communicate so u know where u are. . .  if u determine he still cares then u u should know what to do to get in his good books again (cook for him, stroke his ego all the things u know he likes) make it up to him the way only a girl can

if he isnt willing to forgive, accept it an move on. . . . he probably was loosing interest in the relationship anyway

for a 24 yr old u do sound immature. . .

u shd have a life of ur own and not interfering in ur mums business. . .

i think u are only inclined to believe they are having an affair becos u dont like ur uncle, for all u know it may be something else that is going on.

ur mum has a right to her secrets afterall she shd be in or around her fifties (old enough in my opinion). even if she did decide to have an affair, she must have her reasons and u have no right to judge. . . that is not the place of a loving daughter.

if it does come out that she is having an affair, things may or may not work out in the end but at least u had no hand in the disaster. . . dont start taking sides before there is even a quarrel.

if u can, ask ur mum what it is with ur uncle and accept whatever she says and get on with ur own life, if it comes out that she lied to u then u have a basis for anger. . . but in my opinion right now, u sound like a whiny little girl

I don't see how bleaching makes a person light, rather they look like rainbow colored monkey's. People that fall for bleaching are idiots that deserve to be made fools of. Most white people don't differentiate between light and dark as black is black. When blacks do though it is just so senseless. All I know is black don't crack and the darker you are the least likely you will stay uncracked.

On the contrary
If done professionally, can be un-noticeable,
the probelm is that beaching creams in the Nigerian market are cheap and from questionable sources, plus they are used wrong and quite frankly abused. . .  sunscreen is practically non existent in the nigerian market, so most people don't use it. . .  combine that with their cheap bleaching = rainbow cououred monkey 

Last time I was in Nigeria, I over heard conversation about a major bank that only hired light skinned girls. . . .

there was a funny story of a dark skinned girl who went with her light skinned friend to hand in job applications, the light skinned girl (who wasnt looking for a bank job) ended up with a position and the dark skinned girl didnt.

It all boils down to society's idea of beauty, doesnt help that light skinned black women like Beyonce and Tyra Banks are standards most young girls look to.

I'm light skinned my self but I have a dark skinned firend who is so beautiful with an amazing bone structure that i wish i was darker myself. Plus taking care of light skin is hell, ur spots are more visible, u cant get away with unshaven legs (its as obvious as black ink on whiteboard) and sun burns and dark patches are a pain.
