First time tourist visa is usually 1 month then your 2nd time could be 3 months or more and when you become frequent traveller they could give you upto 1 year.

Congratulations, what's up with student visa?, If a business visa can be granted in 5 working days, two weeks is not too short for a student visa. I am just anxious. Submitted 23rd of July.
First time France Visa application usually takes 2 weeks be it any categories of visa, after then your next application takes lesser time it could be 7 days or less because they have your data already with them , that it what I discovered. If you are applying for the first time, then wait for your passport to be ready in 2 weeks

Hello everyone, please I need help.

We applied for transit visa for Netherlands and for now, only my husband passport is back but there is a mistake.
His transit visa on his passport is valid from 1st sept to 8th sept, but we transit on the 10th September.
I have checked my application form and 10th September was what I indicated as date of transit and we submitted our flight tickets too.

I have sent a mail to VFS, they replied that they are not in charge and gave me a mail to send my request to which I have done.
However, I have previously sent a mail to this particular email they sent to me and they never responded, so I am afraid they may not respond to this also.

It's been over 24hrs I have sent the email. Please who has any idea what I can do next.
You can call VFS to get a faster responds, they might tell you what to do

MrsSSholagbade:
Hello All Good Day,

I am asking for any help or advice on my situation please. I have now not been able to see my husband in 4 years and it's heartbreaking for both of us. Our financial situations are getting in the way, and now Covid isn't helping but we really want to try and be together as soon as possible, hopefully by Christmas, as the last time I saw him wason 6th April 2017 and we've not managed to spend one Christmas together yet.

Any advice or help welcome.
If you need advice then give us the full story, there are some informations missing in your story.
Let us know where he is currently, is he living abroad while you are in Nigeria etc. Do you communicate with him but can't see/meet each other? If he is abroad have you make effort getting visa? Etc

VISA APPROVED AT ABUJA EMABASSY FOR A FAMILY OF SIX (F1 RENEWAL, F2 APPLICATION)

I am a 3rd year PhD student so I came for renewal and F2 application for my husband and four kids.
VO: Ah....hello there (to the kids)
My Kids: Hellooooooo
VO: So who is the primary applicant?
Me: I am...my husband and kids will be joining me.
VO: OH wow! Good..Good (he was typing for a long time)...please hold on, we have six applications here! (He is smiling).
Me: No wahala Boss...
VO: I see you are teaching two classes?
Me: Yes
VO: For how long now?
Me: Two years
VO: (nodding) Good...good...
Me: Yes....
VO: How are you funding your trip?
Me: I have an assistantship that covers my family. And also my daughter's godfather is supporting us financially too.
VO: OK...your application looks good.
Me: Thank you
VO: (only question to my husband) Sir, what do you do?
Husband: I am into xyz
VO: Good, good...okay I WILL BE APPROVING ALL YOUR VISAS...good luck.

He started with covid regulations, make sure you check the country before you book your tickets so you don't get stuck. I nodded and jumped up like three times and then packed our documents.

That was it! That was it!
Your father sponsoring you could be the problem. someone that have work for 10 yrs should have saved enough be able to sponsor himself abroad for anything. when you plan to study abroad co expected you to have save for your study not your father. my 2 cent shocked

What if the schengen visa is unused and it was issued 6 years ago?
Which category will the person belong to; first timer or Frequent
quote author=Beverlyhills post=104427071]Frequent Travelers are applicants who have at least 1 previous visa from the schengen , US , UK and Canada.
Use frequent . Either used or not used visa it still count. Make a copy of the visa and include in your application documents.

that was the only reason.
Please Nairalanders, if you are applying for any kind of visa be it Visiting, Permanent resident, Family reunion etc, and you have had a visa before. kindly mention it on your application , both used and unused. Even if the stamped visa passport is expired, lost or burnt mention it. I'm talking from my little experience. With the old or missing passport number they will see it.
How did you know it was the reason ? Did you request for your GCMS? Or you just assume as the Canada refusal letter does not come with such details information unless you request for your GCMS. Meanwhile , Canada only share information with US embassy and i don't know about sharing information with Europe.

Thank for that info HRproof.
Please one more question
I have spanish permanent resident visa on my old passport which got missing in 2016.
I got the visa on 2015 october but i did not use it, meaning that i did not travel to spain.
Am i still under a First timer or a Frequent traveller?
You mean you have permanent resident visa and didn use it till date? Lol
Anyway if you have a copy of it anywhere then add it to your visa applications but they will confirm the authenticity of it since it still fall within schenge country but if you can not provide it then no evidence of your visa prove and it means you fall for the first time travel

what of someone that have been to Other Schengan Country can the person book for frequent traveler
If you have travel to schengen countries then you are frequent traveller so what you need to do is to make copies of your schengen visas and submit with your application. Even when you didn't use it, it still count

My first time to witness this kind of thing yesterday in front of ABC jibowo. a lanky dreed looking guy beg a taxi man for money and the he gave him the next thing we hear ... my joystick has disappeared by the taxi man! Behold Crowd gathered this begger, and beat him blue and back . The accused guy told them to give the man water to drink and when he pee his joystick will be back to normal. They did and pee no gree come. They naked the accused guy almost want to set him ablaze. Meanwhile the man joystick came back to normal and they ask him to go and confirm if is working. He tested and confirm with ashawo. The truth is that his joystick didn't disappear but became small, maybe out of fear can cause that. I'm yet to believe how joystick will disappear, Nigerians and mysterious belief.

Good Evening Guys

Please I want to book for an appointment at vfs website but they are asking me to pay the sum of 19760 Naira to complete the appointment booking. I want to know if this money is different from the €50 I will also pay on the day of submission.
Yes is different, 19760 is VFS service charge and you will pay visa fee at the centre. Before now applicant pay all at the centre, remember you will also pay for DHL now compulsory for passport delivery no more pick up .
