All the people discouraging the OP not to come back to Nigeria are those who NEVER step their foot out of this country all the good things they see happening abroad is on TV but unfortunately the abroad they don't know is bigger than they thought.
OP there are so many guys that relocated back to Nigeria and they are doing well, look for them on this NairaLand and seek for advise, there is one who currently relocated back to Enugu and he is doing well also on freelance business he never regretted it, leave those JAPA guys here discouring you not to come back. There is crime everywhere just mind your business and nothing will happen to you.

Nigeria has over 200 million people, let others try their mettle abroad, even Dangote has investments abroad, he exports to other countries, if he didn't go abroad and get the connections he wouldn't be where he is today.

Are u saying I shouldn't go and earn money legally abroad? even the CBN just announced incentive for Nigerians in Diaspora if they remit their dollars to Nigeria.

Let those who want to remain here remain here, those who want to go abroad and earn should go and earn.
Dangote made it here first before looking for foreign investment. If you don't have anything to offer Aboard dont go Aboard they are not looking for someone to constitute nuisance in their country. Develop your skill here first like Dangote and others. People shouting on niaraland I WANT TO JAPA dont even have anything to offer abroad and not ready to build their skill but want to JAPA to make money through illegal means and keep destroying our image

I'm not going abroad for my unborn children, they have their destinies, I'm going for me...

I want to make dollars and travel to anywhere in the world without restrictions.

Please tell me, all the African footballers that travelled abroad and made money and fame, would they have made such if they remained in Africa?

Do you know that it's because of our inability to travel around the world that we can't optimally export our agricultural products abroad, the Chinese and Indians that have visa free access are doing most of the exportation for us.

Nigerians need a second strong Passport that can enable them travel around the globe and explore our abundant resources...
Why do we only see this opportunities abroad or people who made it abroad and forgotten that many are making it here in Nigeria. Is Dangote a foreigner or reside abroad ? Did he make his money abroad and become the richest not only in Nigeria but the richest in Africa.
High time we think inwardly

Yes it happens, must u be kidnapped before you believe?
Don't you read severa news even on this forum of people coming from abroad only to be kidnapped and killed
We hear kidnap cases everyday, it's getting worse on daily basis
I won't advice even my worse enemy to come to Nigeria for now,a country where bandits and kidnappers are pampered and paid ransom,a country where Govrrnors negotiate with kidnappers and even pose for a selfie in the act. It's so shameful
People are visiting Nigeria everyday. Did they guy tell you he want to relocate to the north? Na you wan kidnap the guy? If Nigeria is not safe why are you still here? No money to travel hahaha.
There are safe places in Nigeria he can relocate to and mind his busines nobody will kidnap him.

thank you sir but what make me wanna leave is that the goverment dont even give a shit about us and anything worse can happen anytime but my main reason i wanna travel is because i wanna have a dual citizen so my children can enjoy life
My advise for you, Don't be in a hurry to travel ,you will travel when it's right. Keep trying to survive here when you make money you can travel legitimately so that you wouldn't fall victim while begging people to help you travel.
Meanwhile why is it that Nigerian youths keep saying they want to travel because of their unborn kids?? Did our father think this way and have us here? Can't we believe in us making Nigeria work! Even If you have the citizenship of another country doesn't that change the fact you are a NIGERIAN.
Lastly the way you are sounding desperate do not go through desert to make it abroad it is dangerous and many have died through that means, abroad they did not see neither did they get the citizenship for their unborn children seek. Be wise

My advice for you is to rescind your decision to come to Naija now,it's not safe. You might be kidnapped even before getting to your destination.
Wait till security get better, this is my advice
Have you been kidnapped? Nigeria is not safe but does kidnapping happen in all 36 state?

There is an adage that says ONYE ÑORO ÈBÈ ÒNO ÈBÈ ONANOGHI ANAGUYA!!!
My advice is that Nigeria will is better than Ghana if you can relocate to Lagos or Abuja depending on the kind of business or work you want to do.
There is insecurity in Nigeria but not all the state. Do your research

its clear u haven't been there. Its very super hard to bribe a woman against a woman when it comes to giving judgement , becus women are most like to paint men black. Bro just give me 3 examples of occassions where a woman faild a case against a male in 9jiria . I will also give u my own proves
I'm a woman, if I start telling you experience I witnessed with 3 cases of 3 different women who have marital issues in welfare , NairaLand space will not occupy it. If you are lucky to be in a state were welfare cases are handle judiciously without bias then I believe women who work there have experience their own share so they might not spare men. Out of 36 state believe me just few states has good testimonies about welfare.

I'm talking with experience, does it means women don't take bribes? ? We all are born into a corrupt system so women or men in any government agencies are corrupt.
Is only human activist NGO who fight for women in most cases get some good judgment in Nigeria but still Nigeria corrupt system still working against them. I live in Nigeria and i have seen Nigeria finish nothing remain.

AND WOMEN ARE ALL INNOCENT ABOUT THIS DIVORCE ISSUES ? WOMEN DOEST MANIPULATE MEN ABI ? HAVE U BEEN TO WELFARE BE4 ? IF U BELIEVE EVERY DIVORCE CASE IS BEEN BROUGHT UP BY MEN , AND THEY ARE ALL GUILTY ABI ? DO U KNW A WOMAN CAN ACCUSE U OF RAPE , AND U HAVE NOWHERE TO VINDICATE URSELF. HAVE U EVER SENSE A WOMAN FILE A CASE AGAINST A MAN AND GETS TO LOSE IT ? THOSE ONES U MENTION DIDN'T FILE ANY CASE .
Nigeria welfare are full of corrupt individuals like all the agencies in Nigeria. Men always have their way with bribery, Nigeria welfare system is not working. No law that protect women in Nigeria, rape cases are not taking serious here. So many to mention.

You may be surprised his wife is NIGERIAN and did this to him on purpose without any reasonable causes. They do these nasty things in order to reap govt benefits and put their husband in perpetual mental subjugation.

Later their kids raised by the woman alone would turn criminals on the streets.
Please what benefit do British government give to divorced wife if thats the reason for her act?

Which NIGERIA LAW PROTECT MEN ? EVERY LAW PROTECTS WOMEN
The lawless law that Nigerian men use to abandon wife and kids and move in with another woman without child support.
The lawless law that gave some Nigeria men the impetus to misbehave and cheat around in the name of polygamy is allowed in Nigeria .
Some Nigeria men enter YANKY with that mentality and it ended like OP friend.
Now let me hear the law that protect women in Nigeria!!

This matter strong
That is to say British law protect woman, if its here in Nigeria is the other way round. My advise is that Nigeria men should learn how to protect their wife either in Nigeria or abroad to aviod this scenarios.
Anyway lets people who stay in UK give the guy better advice because for we in Nigeria will not give him better advise as Nigeria is lawless even in marriage issue as People do anyhow and get away with it.

My 2cent
Get invitation letter from them stating you are to visit for 14 days, don't state you are staying 2 yrs, na express VISA REJECTION, apply as adult with your statement of account to show financial strength, invitation letter should indicate that your invitee takes care of your accommodation and feeding.
Meanwhile they will give you visa for 6 months or above, then when you arrive England and you choose to JAPA you gat to work out the rest.

I believe that so far as you've been selected and your State quota isn't full, they will pay.
Cos I noticed many companies haven't been called. I think they were not selected. They don't want a case like last year were they called many companies and didn't pay them cos of filled up quota.
Are you survival fund staff? How do you know they are done with calls ! So those that have not receive called yet are not selected. Lol

It happened at the time they were calling all the employees in same company. So when they start calling any company that's has same employee error should whatch out for calls too.
Meanwhile, the calls are not done according to when you registered, the last company I registered is the first to be called while others that registered before it are still expecting call.

Someone called today but on the survival fund his account shown incorrect while the account is correct so those with same issue should hope for calls, the person wasn't expecting call because of that error. I think it show details on their end because the caller mention his name and his bank detail correctly while it didn't reflect on his portal. The error is with those using fidelity Bank .

That guy is 100% correct! I applied for survival fund last year and misplaced the number i used for d registration shortly afterwards. I almost gave up but to my greatest surprise, Survival fund called me using the phone number attached to my bvn. I still can't figure out how they got my bvn phone number. It's obvious they have our records
This is impossible
Many people who didn't get calls was as the result that their phone wasn't available at that time and they didn't call them with any BVN linked number. What If your BVN linked number was lost ? check well if you forget the number you use for registration. Or are you so special that they dig out your BVN link phone number because they couldn't get you on your registered line.
The only reason for BVN verifcation is the confirmation of your bank details to see it its match not your phone number
Isorite

they should always be with their number attached to their BVN cus that is the number they will call not usually the one you provided during registration.
Wrong information.
Any number used for registration is the one they will call you with not your BVN linked number because they don't have access to that number the one they have access to is the number you provided to them on the survival fund platform.
Meanwhile Many people have lost that number linked with BVN lond ago and telecommunication company have even sold it to another Person.
Hope It make sense to you

Is normal to feel anyhow when others receiving call and you haven't received, it happened to us during the first batch and we have realized that call or no call is not criteria for payment. Last year one employee got call from survival fund but wasn't informed about the call expectations he thought it was a scammer and insult the caller suprisely he got payment. Secondly another one received the call but forgotten what to answer and he presented it was network problem and hang the call, but he get paid.
However, many people missed calls and some were not called and still get paid while some get called, profile verified but didn't get paid.
So the new applicants we understand how you feel with this call thing just relax and have Faith to be among those that will get paid that's the ultimate.
