dan761:The issue is not about the older of the two, or who has contested the most...it is about who stands a better chance to win...There is no way GNI can win any LG in the central (go and write it down), Akinlade win them all (however, the margin remain to be seen)...he can only win his Imeko-Afon LGA or maybe Yewa North (Note: Imeko-Afon was carved out of Yewa North), where he's won since he started his aspirations in 2011, albeit with about 500 votes always. |
dyydxx:I beg to differ with d case of Lekan Mustapha, but since u are on ground, i will take ur word for it. Let's see how it all plays out sha...If Akinlade can't win Ogun West, no matter how little the margin, it will be difficult for Amosun's Central votes to make up for it...but time will tell. I will totally give on Ogun West people if APC still wins the zone despite the fact that they have never produced a Gov in the State's 43 years, and considering the fact that the area in all ramifications lack basic govt presence. |
Oh my lawd...Jesus wept!!! How can i unsee this biko? This one na kampala or fresh booli... ![]() |
Mind game, and at the same time taking pressure off his team. |
dyydxx:To answer ur question, I really don't know what Lado's end game is really...but one thing i know is that without Lado, there is no way Dapo will win Ogun East. Reason bn dat that, APC garnered 85k votes to defeat PDP that got 82K...Now the Senator-elect, except something changes tomorrow, is already campaigning for Akinlade...now u do the Maths. In Ogun West, Tolu Odebiyi of APC got 58k, AAA got 48K, while PDP go 33K. In the central, despite the gang-up against him, Amosun got 88k, ADC-33, and PDP-32. Though people have different views about what got Amosun his 88K; Amosun or APC...but i think it is Amosun's...but time will tell sha. And let's not forget that APM as a party got 25k votes in the Presidential Election due to voters' ignorance in some areas...u just do d math and see if Dapo can beat his chest to say he knows for sure that he will carry the day, except there is an assurance of Fed might already on ground. It will go down to the wires...but if Lado were to openly support Dapo, then it is all over; Dapo wins without sweat. |
LexngtonSteele:Stroke is no respecter of age, as there are many causes of stroke too |
Though Ladi Adebutu already debunked this news this morning...but if there is any truth behind this news and GNI fails to step down for Akinlade, it will be a miracle for Akinlade to win...and as the election draws closer, and those that are abandoning GNI's course and lessons learnt from the last election results across d State, he's most likely to come 4th. Lado and GNI are the game changers for whoever is going to win eventually. |
Ladi Adebutu already debunked this news this morning |
Flying all these small planes scares d sh*t outta me.. ![]() See as Tobi serious, he probably was remembering Emiliano Sala (of blessed memory) there |
PureMind2:His many atrocities while in office and the ones he's still perpetrating in Lagos till date. Hello Mr Darudapo; the subsidy and certificate fraudster...the man who has phobia for the media...the man who speaks to the people he wants to govern thru proxy....could he be doing so that he could issue a disclaimer later if he backtracks on what his spokesmen have bn saying he would if elected? ![]() |
Bhol28:Now do you know that Buhari rejected Tinubu's ministerial list? Tinubu's candidate's were dropped for Shittu, Fayemi, Fashola and Adeosun in Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos and Ogun respectively? Do you know that Tinubu worked against Akeredolu's candidature and Fayemi's 2nd term but Buhari supported them with the help of the same Amosun...did u know that Aso Rock doors were shut against Tinubu for a long time until recently because of elections? Do u even know that Amosun and the cabals in Abuja were d only ones that had access to Buhari while he was admitted in the UK...even Osinbajo and ur Tinubu were in the dark? Even Remi Tinubu once mentioned how her husband was sidelined in the media. Tinubu was compensated by appointing his man to head the Tax Revenue Service of Nigeria...yet the greedy man wanted more...he thought SW was (is) his playground. |

Bhol28:Buhari and Tinubu are just friends with benefits...Tinubu is just an election tool in Buhari's hand...little wonder he sidelined him post 2015..watch him do same again. |
flowmama:Amosun/Buhari relationship is beyond politics...it precedes 2015...they have being loyal to each other for ages...those who know, knows |

Oshiomole and Tinubu won't like this... Baba gat his back... ![]() |
blackfish:Let me 1st of all clear the impression that Yayi is from Yewa...he's not...in fact when he 1st showed up in Ogun, he initially claimed to come from Ishaga which is under Ogun Central, but when he discovered his blooper, he immediately swerved to the Ishaga in Yewa South, Ogun West...could it be he doesn't really know where he hails from? This only mean one thing, he has never lived in the State nor visit his family....how then does he know where the shoe pinches...he was here on one mission; to extend Tinubu's political empire. So my question is this, how can we have known capable sons of the soil and choose to open our doors for an outsider to govern us? Baba Osoba is another greedy old man...before and during Amosun's 1st term, Osoba held sway...he picked people for virtually all the elective posts under ACN in 2011, Amosun had close to no input whatsoever...he later appointed lots of key commissioners for Amosun...but in the run-up in the 2015 elections, Osoba wanted to play the same game again, but Amosun won't have any of it, hence, they left and failed woefully in SDP. See ehn, d story just dey too long...though Amosun isn't perfect and has so many flaws like any of us, he means well for this State...he may have gotten some things wrong, including but not limited to the workers' deductions... but he stands shoulder higher than all past govs with the exemption of maybe Onabanjo (bn dat he laid d foundation). Tinubu is another greedy man who came from Osun to govern Lagos for 8 yrs, and has being selecting for them since then...he simply want the SW to be under his armpit so that he can have an easy ride to Aso Rock in 2023, but does he really think the Northerners would give someone like him power? However, Oshiomole is the MAIN CULPRIT in all these wahala...he did his 8 years and handed the State to someone he felt could sustain his legacy...why should he deprive others from doing so? 4 members of Oshimole's family are appointees in Edo, but he castigates Okorocha for doing d same...what manner of a man is that? Is Amosun in Imo and Ondo? Is Amosun in Zamfara or is Amosun in Rivers...It is obvious that Oshiomole was heavily bribed to sabotage some of these State where some of Tinubu's potential 2023 hindrances are...funny enough, he couldn't even deliver his own State. |

Ogunworkers:Who should i support ojare? Tinubu? Someone whose wife is a 3rd term Senator and still wants to have a say in who governs surrounding States...he even went to poke his nose into their affairs in far away Imo...is it Dapo who retrieved the transformer he gave a community because they didn't vote for him in 2015...someone who is being investigated for subsidy fraud and certificate fraud? A candidate who is afraid to face the press? Oh wait, is it Osoba who b4 Amosun's 1st time chose virtually every elective posts for the party? To me, despite all his flaws, Amosun beats everyone of them hands down...with maybe the exemption of Bisi Onabanjo. GNI would have bn a better choice but his platform is weak...With Amosun, Ogun West has a better chance of producing a Gov for the 1st in the 43-year history of Ogun. Ajimobi broke the 2nd term jinx in Oyo...it is not written in stone and it is not a taboo...if God says Akinlade will win, there is nothing any mortal can do about it |
dyydxx:In case don't know, the plan to deal with Amosun was on months before the primaries...they jst used d primaries buhaha as an opportunity to carry it out...my brother, what will be, will be. ![]() |
dyydxx:Heart attack? Really? What is my own...life goes on....if the people of Ogun West fails to reason well and vote their own, na their wahala be that, i rarely travel to my home town because of bad roads and i feel for those who stay there...and if the State becomes too hot for me and unlivable in the future, na to dust my passport and relocate to obodo oyinbo. because by the time Tinubu and co finishes with Ogun State ehn... ![]() |
dyydxx:Pls go and figure what happened to Tinubu the last time out...he was sidelined...his ministerial list was thrown into the trash can... and was only recently welcomed back to the fold because of election...by the time his cup will be full with the cabal, the likes of Amosun and Okorocha and other aggrieved members will be more than willing to gang up against him...Tinubu might have formed king kong with sitting Presidents before, but Buhari is different...watch out ![]() |
Ogunworkers:See this one...I am an Ogun person...i am an Ogun West person...and he will win by the special grace of God...talking about education, how many educated people go out to vote? If the literates' votes were to carry weight, Buhari would have bn on his way to Daura by now. |
LibertyRep:Oh, that one...I thought it is the Abe/Cole saga...Ameachi just found God's favour...his case was probably handled by incorruptible judges...with the corrupt judges we have now, it will be difficult to win a primary election case...d process tedious and torturous...those u are fighting will use the State resources to counter u. How many people have come back with the same type of case victorious? |
